PROTECTION OF HINDON AQUADUCT

Cleaning of roller bearing of aquaduct and painting and greasing complete including all material, labour, T&P etc. complete and scaffolding etc. complete.

Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material(like plaster, loose concrete, oil, rust, dust, and other impurities ) from RCC surface with manual Chisel and or by standard power-driven percussion type of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge

Removing all existing unsound/loose material like plaster,loose concrete,loose particle,oil,dust and other impurities etc manually by chisel and hammer from rcc conduit surface. Making Rcc surface thoroughly cleaned using wire brush and water including disposal of debris outside of pipeline.

Cleaning of Joints including removing of baker rod, filling and all other loose materials from the expansion joint and clean the surface around the joint to make it free from loose particles,dirt,oil,grease etc and disposal of malba/debris outside of pipeline including all labour,T&P etc complete.

Drilling and fixing injection packers in RC members including, Drilling Holes: Drilling holes in structural members at intervals as per the recommendation of the engineer in charge.Cleaning of holes: Clean the holes with air blower before fixing nozzles. Fixing of Packers: Insert 12 mm dia., 50~75 mm long injection packers in cleaned holes with moisture-insensitive epoxy resin-based putty or equivalent. Cutting of Packers: Cut the Packers by wheel after grouting completion without damaging structural elements.Patching Hole:- After cutting off the packer we patch the hole on epoxy putty.

Supply and apply single component, Polyurethane Injection foam based system for wet conditions and temporary sealing, which cures to a dense flexible foam with a fine cellular structure. Minimum Product Requirements: Viscosity cps 500-1300 at 23°C

Supply and apply 2 components, elastic, low viscous, solvent-free, Polyurethane Injection resin based system for permanent sealing, that does not need the presence of water for hardening reaction Product Requirements: The viscosity of the mixture < 100 mPa•s (at +20°C) Capable of penetrating cracks>0.2mm wide with a CE Marking (European Conformity) -> Conformance label that the product is approved to the essential requirements and under market surveillance

Filling the joints with Polystyrene baker rod of the size next higher to the joint gap and apply Polyurethane based sealant in the expension joint up to a depth equal to not less than 1/2 the width of the joint including insert of bitumen impregnated board as filling material,T&P etc. complete.

Supply and apply two coats of sodium silicate-based quick setting cement mortar to prevent leakage in the place system Similar Product Make: Sikafloor® curehard-24 or its equivalent completion as per the direction of the engineer in charge Consumption: 0.25 kg/m2 per coat
