Maintenance of STP: Operation of all connected pumps, valves, etc., cleaning of all chambers, collection of cake from sludge chamber beds, stacking, etc., within the premises.
Operation of pumps, valves etc.: At sewage collection cleaning of chambers etc., outside the STP premises.
Operation and Maintenance of generators if provided by Client: During the period of electric power cut, this item will function as an auxiliary unit to maintain pumps, etc., within STP premises, The diesel required for operating and maintenance of generator will be issued from Client.
Maintenance of pump sets: he pumps and motors required for operating the STP requires periodical maintenance with consumables like grease, packing material, bearing etc., The spares and consumables required shall be issued.
Contractor shall adopt a preventive maintenance schedule for avoiding break-downs. The following maintenance : For Electrical and Mechanical equipment Daily: Plant Monitoring.
The job of operation and maintenance shall include the following in each : Aeration tank: Secondary clarifier/Sludge sump: Cleaning of clarifier &sludge sump two time in a month: First Aid: at the work site, there shall be maintained readily accessible place.
