REPAIRS TO ROOF TREATMENT AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS IN THE AOR OF AGE B/R-II UNDER GE (EAST) DELHI CANTT-10

Dismantling of brick tiles, terracing tiles/APP Membrane with screed bed of any thickness as on roof. Complete all as directed

Demolation of mud / cement concrete in roof including plastering and leeping including cleaning surface of roof with wire brush / mechnical brush throughly to remove old dirt / loose particles to expose clean concrete slab clean with watering etc from 1st to 4th floor complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-O using 12.50 mm graded stone agg with WPC as per manufacturers instructions as in padding to maintain proper slope as required and make the surface even and smooth surface from 1st to 4th floor including necessary scaffolding and safety measures, complete all as specified and as directed. (Note:- WPC shall be measured and paid seprately as supply only under relevent item of this BOQ).

Supply only Liquid Water Proofing compound

Applying evenly a coat of bituminous primer conforming to IS- 3384 @ 0.30Ltr/Sqm. Over the primed surface, apply a coat of hot blown 85/25 penetration grade bitumen conforming to IS- 702 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm of the surface area. Applying APP based polymeric membrane minimum weight 3.50kg/Sqm and of minimum thickness 3mm, reiforced with polyster non woven fabric ( weight not less than 150gm/Sqm ). APP membrane will be laid by torching overlaps with a propane or butane gastorch and laid across the slope from lowest line of roof towards ridge with over laps of 75mm in length side and 100mm on the width side of membrane bonded with hot blown bitumen. (Note : (1) The work shall be executed through authorised applicator of manufacturer only. (2) Authrised Applicator shall be approved by GE before starting of work. (3) Guarantee: The contractor shall furnish a written guarantee for the effectiveness of the water proofing treatment for a period of Ten years in favour of the GE. A sum equivalent to 2.5% (Two point Five Percent) of the cost of water proofing treatment shall be retained by the Govt from the contractor’s dues as security deposit. The contractor may, however, furnish a fixed deposit receipt in lieu from a Schedule bank pledged in favour of Garrison Engineer.

M&L precast machine pressed cement concrete tile size 250x250x20-25 mm or 300x300x20-25 mm thick conforming to IS:1237 laid over & including 15 mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:4 and jointed & pointed in neet cement slurry complete all as specited and directed

M&L 10mm thick rendering in CM1:4 with water proofing compound as per manufacturers instructions to receive WPT for roof treatment (Note:- WPC shall be measured and paid seprately as supply only under relevent item of this BOQ).

Taking down eaves gutter rain water pipe (any size or pattern) including all fittings, heads, shoe, band, swan neck etc and cleaning or fixing or removal.

S&F 110 mm PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls.

S&F 100mm PVC (SWR) bends/shoes any radius complete all as specified

Dismantling existing water tanks capacity exc 250 ltr but not exc 500 ltr and removing from site complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 500 ltrs capacity rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting grooves in brick wall 75mm wide and 40 mm deep and shaping horizontal face of groove with cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing tanks, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position. (Cleaning repairing etc. measured separately).

Taking up or down 15mm dia bore of galvanised iron steel tubing and connections including cleaning for refixing or removal from site complete in all respect as specified

S&F 15mm bore dia of medium grade galvanised steel tubing with all fittings and fixed complete to wall or laid in floor complete in all respect as specified.

Taking up or down 20mm dia bore of galvanised Iron steel tubing and connections including cleaning for refixing or removal from site complete in all respect as specified

S&F 20mm bore dia of medium grade galvanised steel tubing with all fittings and fixed complete to wall or laid in floor complete in all respect as specified.

Taking up or down steel tubing and connections 25mm dia including removal from site etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 25mm bore dia of medium grade galvanised steel tubing with all fittings and fixed complete to wall or laid in floor complete in all respect as specified.

S&F in repairs ball valve high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe 15 mm dia complete all as specified and directred.
