Part -A PERMANENT WORKS

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.2 m width and 1.5 m depth in soil/soil mixed with boulders (SMB), including dressing bottom and sides getting out and disposing all excavated material lead upto 6 m and lift upto 1.5 m. (by manual means) all as specified in MoRT&H specification for Road bridge 5th adition.

Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand: 6 stone aggregate size 4cm graded downwards) in foundation or elsewhere (excluding the cost of centering/shuttering).all as specified.

Centering/Shuttering (Steel) including strutting, propping and removal of formwork (considering 10 times to be used)all as specified and approved by engineer in charge.

Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 Cement: 2 Coarse sand: 4 stone aggregate size 4cm graded downwards) in foundation or elsewhere (excluding the cost of centering/shuttering).

Reinforced Cement concrete M-30 nearly corresponding to nominal mix, 1 cement: 1.1 sand: 2.25 stone aggregate of size 20 mm graded downward. (excluding the cost of reinforcement & centering/shuttering)

Laying reinforcement including cutting bending, binding, providing hooks overlaps etc bars upto 12 mm (labour only).

Providing and laying of polythene 125micron between concrete slabs and dry lean concrete sub base (DLC) as given in particular specification

Providing and fixing Warning/Mandatory road signs made of MS plates of triangular shape 90 cms side tightly bolted or welded to suitable post of Mild Steel angle irons (50 x 50 x 5 mm) two numbers braced by MS plate 1 mm thick 30 cms wide embedded in PCC 1:4:8, including painting. The height of bottom of the board to be 1.5 m from the crown of pavement ( all as per IRC 67 of 1977) Retro-reflective sheeting as clause 801.3 of MoRT&H specifications & approved by engineer in charge.

Supplying and installation of delineators (600 mm) (road way indicators, hazard markers, object markers), 80-100 cm high above ground level, painted black and white in 15 cm wide strips, fitted with 80x100 mm rectangular or 75 mm dia circular refelectorised panels at the top, buried or pressed into the ground and conforming to IRC:79 and the drawings, all complete as per clause 806 of MoRT&H specifications.

Providing and erecting a "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 70 cm above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150x75x5 mm spaced 2 mtr centre- to- centre, 1.80 mtr high, 1.10 mtr below ground/road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150x75x5 mm, 330 mm long complete as per clause 811 of MoRT&H specifications.

Providing and fixing of road stud 100x100 mm, diecast in aluminium, resistant to corrosive effect of salt and grit, fitted with lens reflectors, installed in concrete or asphaltic surface by drilling hole 30 mm upto a depth of 60 mm and bedded in a suitable bituminous grout or epoxy mortar, all as per BS:873 (Part 4) 1973 & as per clouse 804 of MoRT&H specificaation.

Road marking with thermoplastic paint (2.5 mm thick) conforming to MOST: 803.4 including preparation of surface and application.

"Quick setting compound" @ 1% of cement (by weight) in all cemented work as approved by engnieer in charge.

Part -B SURFACING WORKS/RIGID PAVEMENT

GSB 10 cm thick (compacted) with natural sand, moorum, gravel or any material as per table -400-1 of MORT&H specifications for roads and bridge works, including supply of material, spreading in layers, watering and compaction, all complete.

GSB 15 cm thick (compacted) with natural sand, moorum, gravel or any material as per table -400-1 of MORT&H specifications for roads and bridge works, including supply of material, spreading in layers, watering and compaction, all complete.

GSB 15 cm thick (compacted) with natural sand, moorum, gravel or any material as per table -400-1 of MORT&H specifications for roads and bridge works, including supply of material, spreading in layers, watering and compaction, all complete for hard shoulder.

Forming 20 mm thick expansion joint. Filled with preformed bituminous filler and top 30 mm primed and sealed with sealing compound grade 'B'. Depth of expansion joint 250 mm.

Forming contraction (Dummy) joint 60 mm deep x 10 mm wide filled with sealing compound grade 'B'
