M&L for Repair to potholes depth of potholes exc 30 mm , not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings complete all as specified and directed. Note : The patching of pot hole shall be carried out all as given in clause 20.A.34.2 of SSR Part-I (2009).

M&L for preparation of newly bituminious macadam surface of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 grade @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm of road surface and laying bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) using binder (Bitumen VG-30 grade) contents @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix, mixed in Hot mix Plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface etc, complete all as specified and directed.complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of WMM surface of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 grade @ 10Kg per 10Sqm of road surface and laying bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) using binder (Bitumen VG-30 grade) contents @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix, mixed in Hot mix Plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 grade @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm of road surface and laying bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) using binder (Bitumen VG-30 grade) contents @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix, mixed in Hot mix Plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed. Note :- for Srl Item No. 5 & 10 (i) The actual binder content for BM & SDAC used shall be as per optimised content based on approved job mix formula irrespective of what ever indicated in BOQ. (ii) Price adjustment shall be done on MINUS side only @ Rs. 46900/- per MT (without considering the permissible tolerance on minus side) with reference to binder content indicated in BOQ. (iii) No Price adjustment for Bitumen shall be done for variation on plus side.

Demolition of brickwork masonry, laid dry complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Continuous brick edging with width equal to width of brick, laid dry on edge vertically using Fly Ash Brick (Non-Modular) Class 7.5 including necessary excavation and earthwork in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Thermoplastic road marking paint not less than 2mm thick, white or golden yellow in colour, conforming to BS-3262, in lines, arrow, dashes & letters not exceeding 15cm in width, applied hot, using application unit and retroreflective glass beads @ 250 to 300 gm/Sqm to withstand vehicular traffic load, laid as per manufacture's instructions etc complete all as specified and directed.
