Repair/Servicing incl testing of DG Sets of all capacities incl inbuilt control panels & AMF panels all as per OEM recommendations/instructions & including the following works /Job to the entire satisfaction of the Engr-in-Charge complete all as specified and as directed : (a) Check & replace Engine Oil (Lube Oil). (b) Check & replace Lube Oil filter. (c) Check & replace Fuel filter. (d) Check & clean Battery terminals, applying petroleum jelly. (e) Check Coolant level, Top up if required. (f) Check & clean Centrifugal Filter. (g) Check & clean V-Belt, replace if required. (h) Check & clean Elements (Single Dry type, Air filter Primary/Secondary), replace if required.

(j) Check & clean Restriction Indicator, replace if required. (k) Check & clean Fuel pipes, replace if required. (l) Check & clean Hoses (Coolant/Air Circuit), replace if required. (m) Check Tappet Setting, repair/rectify if required. (n) Check & clean Exhaust Silencer. (o) Check for loose connection, retighten Panel Contactor relay/wiring harness incl inspection of all metering instruments. (p) Check & clean Exhaust fan, replace if required. (q) Check & clean Starter assy/Charging Alternator/Turbo Charger/Fuel Pump & Nozzles/Lube Oil Cooler/Thermostat/Water Pump assy/AVR etc. (r) Check Hinges & Lock, replace if required. (s) Check Stop Solenoid, replace if required. (t) Check Main AC Alternator winding. (u) Check Engine/Alternator performance etc. NOTE : (i) Relevant spares/items/materials required for the above mentioned repair/servicing job shall be measured & paid separately as Supply only. Cost of minor spares/repairs, nuts, bolts, washers, gaskets, indicating lamps etc. required for proper functioning of DG Sets/AMF/Control Panels is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. Decision of GE/Engr-In-Chrarge w.r.t. incorporation of Major/Minor spares/repairs shall be final & binding. (ii) DG maint/servicing/repair job to be executed only through auth Service Dealer of OEM/Channel Partner & Certificate regarding the same to be submitted after completion of the work/job. (iii) Rep of auth Service Dealer of OEM/Channel Partner must visit the site/DG Sets & accordingly submit detailed Maint/Servicing program/schedule as per the convenience of the Dept. It may happen that on scheduled dates/time it is not possible to allow the service team to work depending upon electrical breakdowns/VIP visits etc.

Attending emergency breakdowns/faults of DG Sets on call of all capacities incl inbuilt control panels & AMF panels etc. complete all & specified & as directed to the entire satisfaction of the Engr-in-Charge. Note : (i) Relevant spares /items /materials required for the above mentioned attending breakdown /rectification job shall be measured & paid separately as Supply only. Cost of minor spares /repairs, nuts, bolts, washers, gaskets, indicating lamps etc. required for defect rectification & proper functioning of DG Sets/AMF/Control Panels is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. Decision of GE/Engr-in-Chrarge w.r.t. incorporation of Major/ Minor spares/repairs shall be final & binding. (ii) Attending breakdown job to be executed only through auth Service Dealer of OEM/Channel Partner. (iii) Penalty shall be charged @ Rs. 1000/- per Day for not attending the same within 6 Hrs of telephonic/electronic intimation.

M & L for overhauling/calibration of fuel injection pump assy with injectors complete with & including replacement of unsv/non-functioning elements, delivery valves, overflow valves, screen filters, injector nozzles, service kit, bearing, spring washers, copper washers, benjo bolt, gaskets etc. complete all as specified and as directed incl testing after overhauling/calibration to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge of capacity 15 to 200 KVA.

M & L for repairs /servicing to radiator assembly of diesel driven generating set engines by proper cleaning of the storage tanks, circulatory tubings and fins with caustic soda solution, soldering leaking points of circulatory tube and storage tanks including testing after repair/servicing for water tightness complete all as specified and as directed to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge of capacity 62.5 to 200 KVA.

M & L for repairs to defective alternator of DG Set engines of different capacities, including handling and conveyance of defective alternator assy to and fro nearest Auth Service Dealer/Workshop of OEM for the following repairs/works complete all as specified and as directed to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge. : (a) Rewinding of damaged/defective coils with appropriate gauge super enamelled copper wire with high quality paper insulation (b) Heat varnishing (c) Testing after rewinding etc.

Note for Item Nos 5 to 10 : (i) Works/Services against Item Sl Nos 5 to 10 to be executed only through auth Service Dealer of OEM/Channel Partner or as directed by Engr-in-Charge/GE. (ii) Rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of the cost of disconnection/dismanting of the unsv item & reconnection after necessary repair/rewinding incl testing complete. (iii) Rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of the cost of transportation to and fro nearest Auth Service Dealer/Workshop of OEM etc. (iv) Rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of cost of factory inspection (if any) by Engr-In-Charge/GE during currency of the work/job as part of work check/supervision.

Supply, installation, commissioning & testing of outdoor type factory fabricated (CPRI type-tested) AMF (Automatic Mains On Failure) panel suitable for 125.0 KVA DG set, 415 volts, 03 Phase, 4 wire system of appropriate size with suitable neoprene rubber gasket to make it completely dust & vermin proof & degree of protection not less than IP-55 & general construction confirming to IS-13947, double door, front & back openable, cubicle type, having high grade Aluminium bus-bars of 250 A rating duly insulated with PVC coloured tapes/sleeves. The panel shall be provided with ventilation facility in the form of louvers for better heat dissipation, made out of 3.15 mm thick (for outer portions) & 2.0 mm thick (for inner portions) CRCA sheet duly pre-treated & powder coated, supporting angle iron frames etc. incl complete internal wiring with not less than 2.5 sqmm copper wire incl cable glands of suitable sizes incl suitable PCC foundation, necessary earthwork (if any) complete all as specified & as directed with & incl the following accessories :

Note: (i) Design / drawing / BOM of the AMF Panel Board duly showing the dimensions & accessories is to be obtained from the Manufacturer / Supplier & is to be got approved from the Engr-in-Charge & GE before placing final order to the manufacturer. (ii) The electrical connection of digital Multi Functional Meter in the AMF panel is to be done from load side so that monitoring of various parameters viz. Voltage, Current, KW, KVA, power factor, frequency etc. can be done for both SEB mains & DG mains. (iii) Necessary PCC foundation/plinth shall be as per the recommendations of OEM & cost of the same is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (iv) Anything missed out in the technical specifications but technically required for efficient working is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (v) Cost of danger notice plate of size 20 x 15 cm of 1.6mm thick mild-steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventioinal skul and bones in signal-red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for LT conforming to IS-2551 - 02 Nos (Front & Back) is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. (vi) Cost of taking down old unsv change-over switches/LT Panels is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. (vii) Existing DG for which the AMF Panels is required is of rating 125 KVA & Make : Cummins (Engine), Stanford (Alternator) . Subject AMF Panels shall be perfectly compatible for the existing DG Set & same must be suitable for Automatic Load Transfer from EB Supply to DG Supply & Vice-Versa.

M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6.0 mm thick buried directly in ground (in vertical position) earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level with the top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr (B.G.L.) and connected to galvanized iron earth strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts, and washers of galvanized iron including PCC chamber & cover with suitable handle, including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20 mm dia med grade galvanized steel tube for watering with one end fixed with cast iron funnel and wire mesh, 40 mm bore medium grade galvanized steel tubing for drawing earth lead GI strip protection & common salt, charcoal in alternate layers etc. complete all as shown in EP No 3 of SSR Part 1 and testing on completion incl taking down old one complete all as specified and as directed. Note : On completion of the complete work/job the Contr is to perform earth resistance tests for each earthing job in the presence of the Engr-in-Charge or his rep & submit test certificates duly signed & certified. If the test results are not satisfactory or not within the permissible limits of relevant Standards/IS then the job is to be redone without any extra cost to the Dept till the results are satisfactory.

S & F 32 x 6 mm galvanised iron strip as earth continuity conductor incl connection complete with the help of chromium plated washers, nuts etc. to Generator Neutral etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F 40 mm dia GI pipe light grade on walls, floors under ducts/culverts etc. for protection of earthing lead complete all as specified and as directed. Make of Pipe : Tata/Jindal/Prakash. Note : Wherever GI Protection pipes are to be placed/fitted above earths surface, cost of necessary clamping/fixing arrangements to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for laying of pipe and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick with excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing of excavated material (soil) to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing sand cushioning for protection of UG cable in trenches with Coarse River Sand/ Riddled Earth of approved quality as approved in writing by GE including filling, spreading and punning down to desired thickness complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying sub class "B" bricks in trenches for protection of UG Cable with width equal to length of bricks, laid dry & flat complete all as specified & as directed.

S & F for GI pipe light grade 80mm bore with all running fittings (ISI Marked), laid in trenches, under road or fixing on wall/pole/crossing drain/nallah etc. complete all as specified and directed. Make : TATA/JINDAL/PRAKASH. Note : Wherever GI Protection pipes are to be placed/fitted above earths surface, cost of necessary clamping/fixing arrangements to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.

M & L for cutting the existing hardstanding /PCC /WBM road at a depth of not less than 75 cm & 30 cm in width for passing of cables through GI pipes, returning filling in, complete incl finishing the surfaces by providing cement concrete type B1 (1:2:4) with 20 mm graded aggregate upto 20 cm, finishing to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for Item Nos 17 & 23 : Any damages made to the existing services of MES/WCB/TNEB/Other Depts like HT/LT UG cables, Water Supply/Sewage Pipe lines, OFC/BSNL/ITRC/Signal communication cables etc. during the excavation/boring/road cuting etc. progress of the work shall be made good with proper jointing kits etc. as per original to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge & GE & the cost of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. Decision of the AO shall be final & binding in this matter.

Supply, laying, jointing & testing XLPE insulated screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 120 Sqmm 3.5 core in trenches / through GI pipe / fixed along with pole structure etc with all fixing & connecting accessories complete all as specified & as directed. Make : HAVELLS/GLOSTER/POLYCAB. NOTE : Necessary earthwork, PCC etc. shall be measured & paid separately under relevant items of work.

S & F for mild steel work as in posts, purlins, rafter etc. including necessary drilling, bolting or rivetting etc. & similar work confirming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified & as directed.

M & L for providing PCC (1:2:4), type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in platform / floor complete all as specified & as directed.

S & F for pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based plain steel sheet 0.50 mm thick of approved colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall etc. fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified & as directed. Make : JSW/TATA

M & L for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description not otherwise described, over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F for chain link fencing incl line wires, any size/type of standard rails/angles, straining bolts etc. incl provn of binding wires complete all as specified & as directed.

S & F for MS work as in angle iron post & struts in fencing incl cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire etc., flat iron fillets for securing wire mesh conforming to Fe-290 E-165 incl painting with one coat of red oxide primer & two coats of aluminium paint complete all as specified & as directed.

M & L for Sand filling, levelling, watering & consolidation in 15 cm layers on the level ground surface in Sub-Stns etc. complete all as specified & as directed.
