MAINTENANCE OF FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEMS :

M&L for Quarterly maintenance and servicing of Fire hydrant pump House , Fire Hydrant , Sprinkler System of following by check up and preparation of log book and periodic report , servicing of complete system installed with in pump House and its connected spares/items such as valves, pumps, air cushion tank, pressure switches, gauges, Panels etc for daily routine check ( as specified below ) for smooth functioning as per the Manufacturers instructions by Employing experienced Mechanic complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (a) Spares / items as required for smooth functioning of system shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items. (b)Quoted shall be inclusive for servicing the entire fire system

(a) Quarterly checking of Diesel Engine driven fire pump, Jockey pumps & Electrical driven main fire pump including servicing greasing , overhauling, tightening of nut bolts and other spares shall be deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rate, consumable required for Diesel engine driven fire pump such as Diesel, coolant, lubricants and spares shall be measured and paid separately or provided by Department and ensuring that pump and engine shall be in proper working condition and ready for operation including preparing of service report and maintaining log book all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.. (b) Quarterly checking of Pre charged Air vessel including servicing greasing , overhauling, tightening of nut bolts and other spares as required for smooth functioning shall be deemed to included in the quoted rate and making ensure that system shall be in proper working condition and ready for operation including preparing of service report and maintaining log book.

M&L for Quarterly maintenance and servicing of Fire alarm system by following checking up and demonstration with preparing of log book and periodic report of internal system along with servicing of complete system and its components such as Detectors, Panels, Manual call box, Hooters, etc for smooth functioning as per the Manufacturers instructions by Employing experienced Mechanic complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (a) Spares / items as required for smooth functioning of system shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items. (b)Quoted shall be inclusive for servicing the entire fire system

CLEANING AND OPERATION OF SWIMMING POOL :

Taking out complete old filter media from filtration plant including gravel / sand of any size and stacking where as directed including cleaning of filters by scraping with the help of hard steel wire brushes and physical cleaning of surfaces by descaling / brooming slit and sludge's and other deposits from inner side ,collecting and taking out the deposit outside of installation , clean and washing properly with bleaching powder mixed water and preparing the surface and applying two coats of edible synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer on entire inner surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer on entire outer surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning of filter media (Gravel and Sand) in hydro-chloric acid (HCL) and cleaning with fresh water to remove acid contents etc. complete

Manning and operation of complete swimming pool and installed machineries (as listed below) as per standard operational requirement / Medical requirement / User's requirement by deploying one FGM for two shifts of eight hours each (Shif timing shall be as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge based on working requirement )

NOTE:- (a). Each Shifts shall be measured as unit (b). The operator should have good knowledge about the swimming pool operation and various motors, pumps measuring equipments, electrical equipments etc. Minimum qualification of operator shall be ITI in relevant trade or five years experience in relevant field. (c). The operator must adhere with the dress code as directed. (d). The operator must be highly skilled to attend the telephone calls and maintain the record. (e). The operator must be smart in conversation and well behaved. (f). The contractor shall be responsible for cleaning and upkeep of complete installation and premises and equipments. (g). The operator must maintain the documents like Log Sheets and Chlorine test register etc and the contractor shall provided the same as per the format in printed form as directed by Engr-in-charge. (h). Surrounding area inside the boundary wall/ fencing of the installation shall be neat and clean.

(j). All decorum and discipline shall be maintained since the swimming pool used for public, VIPs and Ladies. (k). As per Industrial Act one person should not be continued on duty more than six days in a week and he should be given weekly off day for his personnel maintenance and one reliever should be employed for off day by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt. (L). Machineries shall be operated/ Maintained:- (ai) centrifugal Pump set Motor- 02 Nos, 15 HP - 01 Nos with LT panel and other accessories (bi) pressure filters - 02 Nos with Air Compressor and control valves (ci) Filling water in Swimming Pool whenever required by operating various valves, balancing tank etc. (di) Daily, Weekly, monthly, quarterly and half yearly checks to all machineries as per instructions given by the dep't. including all consumable materials such as cotton waste, grease, gland packing rubber sheets nuts bolts and washers etc. should be provided by the Contractor without any extra cost to the Govt.
