Steps on the downstream face of Dyke-I required to facilitate the maintenance.

Earth work in surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm in depth but exceeding 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan including getting out and disposal of excavated earth upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, asdirected by Engineer-in- Charge: In all kinds of soil.

Providing brick soling in foundation and under floor with stone/ best quality picked jhama brick, sand packed and laid to level and in panel after preparing the subgrade as directed including all labour and materials and if necessary dewatering, complete: Stone soling of thickness 150mm.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level: In Mix 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 6 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) upto plinth level in Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand).

Providing 20 mm thick cement plaster of mix 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand).

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required. In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works

Uprooting of Trees, jungle from the slope and terrain area of Main Dyke at Umiam.

Clearing and Uprooting of wild vegetation,shrubs, grass, bushes, weeds, saplings and trees of girth upto 300mm,removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier from the slope and terrain area of Dyke and disposal of spoils outside the Dyke and as directed.

Providing Toe drain and connecting Drain further downstream of Dyke-I

Rip Rap Resetting Including Materials: Providing and constructing 600 mm thick rip-rap with hand packed header stone of 750 mm at 1.5 m c/c and rough stone revetment with minimum average rock size of 300 mm over 450 mm thick graded filter media backing consisting of sand,10 mm down and 40 mm down approved clean, hard, graded aggregates laid in layers of 150 mm thick each including cost of all materials for riprap and filter media, machinery, labour, laying to required slopes as per approved drawings, packing and wedging with stone chips, finishing surface etc., complete with all leads and lifts and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Protection Wall on the Upstream and Downstream Side of Main Dyke-I.

Earthwork in excavation by manual means up to a depth of 2m below the existing ground level for foundation trenches of foundations, footings of column/ walls, retaining walls, septic tank etc. including bailing out water where necessary and removal Of surplus earth with all lead and lifts as directed and specified for the following classification of soil. (see drawing for details): All kinds of soil (ordinary soil/ hard soil/ dense soil).

Supplying, fitting and fixing in position reinforcement bars up to lst floor level, conforming to relevant I.S. Code for Ft.C.C. work/ a.a. walling including straightening, cleaning, cutting and bending to proper shapes and length as per details, supplying and binding with 20 G annealed black wire and placing in position with proper blocks, supports, chairs, spacers etc. complete. Providing and fixing G.I. chain link fabric fencing of required width in mesh size 50x50 mm including strengthening with 2 mm dia. wire or nuts, bolts and washers as required complete as per the irection of Engineer-in-charge. Made of G.I. wire of dia. 4 mm, PVC coated to achieve outer dia. not less than 5 mm in required colour and shade.

Applying priming coat: With ready mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel galvanised iron/ steel works.
