1) Strengthening and Black topping of N.K Road to Soorankudi Via Kalungudi (PUR) Km 0/0-3/140 in Kalakkad Block (R20)

Clearing Scrub Jungle without alignment for the widening of the formation of the road cutting of trace up to 30mm girth products the cleaning are to be stocked in such a place as ordered by the departmental officer and the ground shall be left in a perfectly clean condition. All holes of hollows whether original, existing (or) produced by digging of roots shall than be carefully filled up the earth well rammed and leveled of and the entire work completed in all respect.

Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 150mm and disposal of scarified material with a lift upto 3m and lead upto 1000m as per technical specification clause 301.4

Earth work excavation and depositing on Bank initial lead and lift in hard gravally soil for cutting side drain etc compl as per SS20A

Collection and supply of gritty gravel from appd quarry including cost and conveyance of all materials to site including all labour charges for spreading and compaction with power roller etc.complete, for SHOULDERS

Providing and laying spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam(WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in machanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site laying in uniform layers 250mm thick with pavers in SubBase/Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including cost of material,labour charges, rentals for machinery, fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete.

Providing, laying 50mm consolidated thick Bituminous Macadam using 0.20cum of 26.50- 13.20mm, 0.43cum of 13.20-2.36mm and 0.08cum of 2.36mm & below size IRC metal with 37 Kgs of VG30 Grade bitumen for premixing per 10sqm including cost and conveyance of all materials to CMP site, heating the bitumen, aggregate and mixing them in required temperature using Central hot mix plant 20-30ton capacity, conveying the mix by tipper trucks to paver site, spreading the mix to uniform thickness of 50mm with mechanical paver to the specified grades and cross sections and consolidated by 8-10 tonne Vibratory Roller to the required density etc., including labour for attending to paver to site etc., including hire and fuel charges for 20-30t CMP with bitumen boiler, tipper trucks, Paver Finisher, Vibratory roller and all other tools and plant required, including all other incidental charges etc., complete as per specification using CMP as per clause 504 of MORTH Rev-5

Applying PRIMECOAT over WMM surface at 7.00Kg of SS-1 Bitumen Emulsion ncluding cost of bituminous emulsion which will be supplied by the department at section stores and its cost will be recovered as per special condition appended including labour charges for preparing the surface for laying tack coat and for applying required quantity of bituminous emulsion by mechanical sprayer including hire and fuel charges for all tools and plants employed etc., complete as per clause 503 of MOST specification.

Providing and laying Tack coat over BT surface using 2.50 Kg of bitumen emulsion RS-1 for 10sqm area including cost and conveyance of bituminous binder including labour charges for preparing the surface and applying the required quantity of bitumen as tack coat by bitumen sprayer

BITUMINOUS CONCRETE 25, 30/40 MM THICK USING cmp (Grade-II) Providing and laying Bituminious concrete to 40mm thick using 0.13cum of 19.00-9.50mm. 0.17cum of 9.5-2.36 and below with 50.3kgs of VG30/VG40 heating the bitumen and aggregates to required temperature and mixing them in required temperature in central hot mix plant 20-30 ton capacity, carrying the mix by tipper trucks to paver site, spreading the mix to uniform thickness of 40mm with mechanical paver to the specified grades and cross sections and consolidated by 8-10 tonnes vibratory/phenumatic roller to the required density etc., including labour for attending to paver to site etc.including hire charges and fuel charges foe 20-30t CMP with bitumen boiler, tipper trucks,paver finisher/9m paver finisher,vibratory/phenumatic roller and all other tools and plants required, including fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete as per specification using CMP as per clauses 507 of MORTH Part-5

Providing Rumble Strips covered with Premix Bituminous Caropet 20mm high at center,250mm vide placed at 1m center to center at approved locatioons to control speed marked with white strips of road marking paint.

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.50mm thick including refletorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35, The finished surface to be level uniform and free from streaks and holes etc., complete as per MORTH&H specification No.803.

Maintenance Towards the charges for routline maintenance of the road work executed under MGSMT including dressing of berms by refilling the gully with the earth from borrow pits, cleaning of wild seasonal growth on berms, destilting of side drains and CD works, white washing guard stones, painting of KM, HM stones, parapets, cutting of branches of trees, refixing displaced guard stones, caution boards, speed limit boards etc., with the periodicity for the above activities as prescribed in IRC-SP-20:2002 and as directed by the departmental officers except for the constructional defects which has to be rectified by the contractor at his own cost
