(ii) Providing coat of bitumen primer @ 0.40 Kg/Sqm complete in horizontal and vertical surfaces of sunken floor. (iii) Providing coat of hot blown bitumen of grade 85/25 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm over primer surfaces alongwith aluminium paint @ 0.11 Kg/Sqm over the APP. (iv) Providing a layer of APP based polymeric membrance of approved manufacturer, 4mm thick reinforced with polyester non wooven fabrix (weighing not less than 150 gm/ Sqm) laid by torch application method, side overlaps shall be minimum 75mm and end laps shall be minimum 100mm and sealing all overlaps and joints as manufacturer's insructions and provided upto a height o 60cm in the parapets and inserted inside the parapets by cutting a groove and finished by membrane flashing complete all as directed.

Disconnecting existing tanks of Capacity exceeding 250 ltr but not exceeding 500 ltr, setting aside (or lowering if required) for water tanks, dewatering, cleaning and sterilisation with wire/ brush/ fine steel wire, brush, clothes, removing all dirts and scale and algae formation inside the tank by using TERBAC G5 ( a lab tested chemical) including writing with yellow paint over base of the tank wall as 'TANK CLEANED ON' with date, month and year with a minimum of 10 cm height capital letters/numbers. The cleaning process would follow fwg stages as under: (a) To drain out the water by using exit valve or high capacity dewatering sustem. (b) Claening all the algae formation inside the tank by using TERBAC G5 chemical. (c) Scrubbing the walls with mechanised scrubber & fresh water cleaning by high speed jet pump. (d) 1st stage of bacteria screening by degermification by using TERBAC G5 halogen compound. (e) Cleaning the floor of the water tank by industrial vaccum cleaner. (f) 2nd stage bacteria screening & sterilizing method by using UV ray within the tank & killing all suspended bacteria. (g) 3rd stage of bacteria screening by sterilizing the floor of water tank by using strong oxidizing agent TERBAC-G65.
