Preventive Maintenance and Servicing of 22/11 KV Power Transformer outdoor type by disconnecting carefully electric connection on primary & secondary side, Checking both side HT bushing, bushing rod, opening top cover of the transformer by unscrewing nuts, bolts, washers etc, rectify the oil leakages issues, if noticed any from the entire body of the transformer, during servicing and re-fixing the top cover of transformer according to previous system. Servicing of the transformer must be done through OEM or authorised personnel including maintaining and submitting the inspection and testing records of each transformer to the Engr-in-Charge. Note 1. :- Inspection of transformer shall involve :- (a) Checking of all clamps, nuts, bolts including core bolts & cover fixing bolts etc. (b) Checking all brazings, joints, tap heads, gaskets and connection joints. (c) Checking all terminations / connections inside/ouside the transformer. (d) Checking of off load tap changer assembly, checking the moving and fixed contacts for contact wear and connection to winding. (e) Conducting the test on core and windings as per IS like ratio, magnetic imbalance, short circuit, IR Value, High Voltage Test etc. in presence of Engr-in-Charge. Note 2. : Spares used e.g. rewinding of primary & secondary coils, Iron Core, bushes studs HT/LT, bushing rod HT/LT, transformer oil, filteration of oil, buchholtz relay, Gaskets set, Off Load Change over switch etc will be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ. Note 3 :- The rates quoted against the item is deemed to be included for cost of Labour for lifting/transporting to civil workshop and vice-versa, if required as per site requirement.

Labour for Opening of HT/LT Cables, Earthing Strips etc of any size from 500 KVA Transformer and Lifting the same transformer and setting aside at safe place inside Sub Stn Yard as directed with the help of suitable size/capacity of Crane and Repair the broken Transformer Plinth of (2.5 x 2.5 x 1.5) Mtr by using 150 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 as in lean concrete, flyash brick masonary in CM 1:6, the top of the plinth shall consist of 150 mm thick RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates and 12 mm dia steel bar, 100 mm c/c gaps etc) over 75 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 over compacted moorum filling, 10 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on brick surface and re-installed the same 500 KVA transformer on the same transformer plinth after got repaired and settlement. During this repair period of Transformer plinth, trolley mounted 500 KVA Transformer must be moved from MES Store Yard to D3 Area New Sub Stn Yard (Distance not more than 2.5 KM one way), installed and terminated with both existing HT/LT Cables, Earthing Strips etc upto Main LT Panel inside Sub Stn Yard and cost of this job deemed to be included in this Job complete all as specified and directed at site by Engr-in-Charge. Note : During this job, if any damages occurred to the transformer, Contractor shall be fully responsible to make good without any extra cost to the Department.

M & L for MS 'C' Channel, MC-100, MS Work, Angle Iron, Hand rails, half round or other steel work, drilling, bolting, cutting and welding etc conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 including fixing and clamped on Two or Four Pole structure with suitable size of nut, bolts and washers etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of existing surface of transformer by scrapping down peeled off old paint, cleaning etc and applying one coat of smoke gray synthetic enamel paint by spray to the following capacity of transformer complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Note : (a) The cost for loading, unloading, transporting & shifting of above said Transformers by suitable mode of transport/vehicle etc is deemed to be included in this job.
