Providing and fitting of foot valve, control valve and pipelines of pumping unit no 1 at Lift irrigation station, Mandli (District Kathua).

Upgradation of suction pipeline of pumping unit no 1 and lift irrigation station, Mandli ( District Kathua) by way of replacement of worn out suction pipeline 9 ft in length (approx) after cutting damaged and rusted nuts and bolts with gas cutter. Providing and fitting of 300 mm diameter suction pipeline of 9 ft in length approx. The suction line consists of bend of appropriate angle as per site conditions. Providing and fitting of new 300 mm diameter cast iron, flanged foot valve with pressure rating of PN 0.2 of reputed make ( Kirloskar/ L&T Valves/ KSB), the door face should consists of rubber with reinforcement of cotton canvas. Fitting of foot valve on the end of suction pipeline, with providing of hexagonal nuts and bolts, rubber gasket between the flanges. Upgradation of delivery pipeline by way of cutting and dismantling old wornout delivery and dismantling of damaged reflux and sluice valves. Providing and fitting new 250 mm diameter butterfly valve of reputed make ( Kirloskar/ L&T valves/ KSB) conforming to BS 5155/ IS 13095 standards for dimensions and materials, on delivery side with providing and fitting of 2 no’s flanges on both sides. Providing and fitting of 250 mm diameter flanged , cast iron non return valve of PN 1 ratting of reputed make ( Kirloskar/ L&T valves/ KSB). The new non return valve is to be fitted in horizontal position on delivery line over the pumping unit. Providing and fitting of bypass mechanism with required size of ball valve for non return valve. The job includes providing and fitting of 250 mm diameter delivery line of pumping unit no 1 with required number of bends and alignment as per site condition upto the valves. Connecting of newly installed delivery pipeline to existing pipeline with flanges. Painting of newly installed pipelines and valves, by rubbing the surface with sand paper to make the painting area smooth and then painting with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of high quality (Asian/ Nerolac/ Berger paint). The job includes cost of valves, pipelines, flanges, rubber gaskets, nuts and bolts, carriage charges of material to lift irrigation station Mandli by carriage vehicle and head load, welding charges, gas cutting charges, skilled and semiskilled labour charges. Note:- The Tenderers are requested to visit the site and quote the rate as per site conditions. Any modifications/ alterations of the job, absolutely necessary if required at the time of execution may be done as per actual site conditions. Note :- The firm have to quote rebate on old items except foot valve, sluice valve.
