Preparation and submission of structural analysis with load moment chart for the entire structural components like overhead tanks, underground tank, tube well etc. along with structural drawings like- 1) Submission of soil investigation report as per relevant IS code. 2) layout of structure, 3) foundation and plinth beams details, 4) Design and drawing of internal and external water supply lines, sanitary, drainage, sewer lines, rain water harvesting, compound wall, road drain etc. The Designer shall have to submit the basic design data, load and assumptions required to be made in the design for approval before taking up design work. The design and detailing shall be conforming to relevant IS codes including proof checking of structural design and drawing as per relevant IS codes and direction of Engineer-in-charge. The Design and drawings shall be checked by the competent authority and the designer shall have to incorporate all such instructions by him and engineer-in charge, if any.

The work shall be done in consultation with the Engineering-charge. The lead structural designer or his qualified representative shall make themselves available for meeting/discussions with Commandant (works) FHQ BSF New Delhi & DC (Works) CSWT BSF Indore as and when required on the matter of design and drawing. The bidder shall submit, duly signed by his lead structural designer, 8 (eight) sets of final drawings on A1 size along with the original tracing for record. Before submitting the final drawings, the consultant shall discuss the loading to be adopted for modelling of structure and develop the model and get concurrence for final analysis form Commandant (works) FHQ BSF New Delhi. On the basis of final analysis the agency shall prepare the structural drawings and submit one set for getting approval from Commandant (works) FHQ BSF New Delhi for preparing final drawing. The detailed design calculation, analysis design data, Check, print and structural drawings may be got vetted/proof check from specialized instructions viz. IIT Indore, NIT Bhopal or any Govt Engineering Institution. The consultant shall be required to prepare and submit all the necessary details as required by the vetting/proof checking agency and shall make his personal available for such meetings/discussions as required. Vetting / Proof checking fee shall be borne by the consultant. Notwithstanding the approval of competent authority to the drawings, the individual/firm shall be responsible for the correctness and safety of design and detailing. 1. Carrying out standard penetration test (SPT) in soil up to 06.00 meter depth or up to refusal (N>100) whichever is earlier as per IS:2131 1981 and collection of undisturbed and disturbed soil samples at every 1.5 meter intervals alternatively for determination of safe bearing capacity of soil i/c laboratory tests viz. Sieve analysis, Atterberg limit, Direct shear test, Bulk density, Dry density, Moisture content, Specific gravity, Preparation of report ilc analysis of test result and recommendations of foundation calculation of Safe Bearing Ccapacity etc.
