SECTION 1: FOR UNDER WATER WORKS AND TEMPORARY PROTECTION OF SLOPES I. FOR UNDERWATER WORKS
Carriage of Geo Bags type-C of size 1.5x 1.0 m including loading & unloading, Stacking, etc. complete and including hire charge of truck with driver and handyman cost of POL etc. completed as directed. Distance from Divisional Store to Work Site = 20KM
Filling and laying of Geo bags type-C of size 1.5m X 1.0m including excavation of sand/silt from flood plain or adjacent chars within a distance of 90m of the work site, filling geo bags with sand/silt having minimum weighing 330 Kg and minimum volume 0.221 cum after filling , double locking chain stitching the mouth of the filled bags with polypropylene thread by power driven double needle double stitched machine, stacking the same in batches of 100, carrying the same to the dumping site including all handling charges and local carriage within a distance of 150m and laying properly as directed. (sand/silt, Geo Bag and Polypropylene thread will be supplied by the department free of cost) With Engine Boat
II. FOR TEMPORARY PROTECTION OF SLOPE
Carriage of 300 gsm Geo sheet of including loading & unloading, stacking cost of P.O.L. etc. complete and including hire charge of truck with driver and handyman, etc. completed as directed. (Distance to be calculated from Divisional Store) Distance from Divisional Store to Work Site = 20KM
Labour charge for laying Geo fabric sheet as filter bellow pitching including carrying, lapping, wrapping & stitching as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

SECTION 2: FOR ABOVE WATER WORKS WITH PERMANENT RIVER BANK PROTECTION WORKS
Earthwork in bank trimming to the designed section /slope by mechanical means including removing the trimmed soils to a minimum distance of 30 m, complete as directed.
Supply of Galvanized Wire Netting Sheet made of 8 SWG wire 152mm square mesh in sheet 2.57m x 1.66m with longitudinal wire at 152 mm center and 76mm projection of each wire on all sides beyong the net size of 2.42m x 1.5m having knots of 12 SWG at every joints, weight of each sheet should not be less than 6.3 kg/ sheet.
Carriage of wire netting sheets of size 2.57 X 1.67 m made of 8 G wire of 152mm Sq. mesh including loading & unloading , Stacking cost of P.O.L. ,etc. complete and including hire charge of truck with driver and handyman, etc.completed as directed. Distance from Divisional Store to Work Site = 20KM

Labour charge for laying, fitting and fixing of double layered Geo textile, fabricated to form a three dimensional mattresses after filling sand at design slope, filled up with sand by pump, anchoring by cutting/ at already excavated trench at the upper and lower end of slope of depth 1.00 m × 0.75 m placing the mat by bending it into the trench, filling the trench by earth filled cement bags/ sand / silt filled type - A geo-bags, sides of mattresses in sloping direction stitched by Polypropylene thread with double locking chain stitch not less than 3 stitches per 2.50 cm to achieve minimum stream strength including all handling and carriage charge complete as directed. (Polypropylene thread will be supplied by the department free of cost)
Collection and supply of River silt by truck carriage free from debris and other foreign material, etc. complete as directed. By mechanical Means. For initial upto 1.00 km & for all lifts.
EMP IMPLEMENTATION COST I) Mitigation Measures
Provision for tree cutting and compensatory plantation (1:10) measures, monitoring and maintenance
Obtaining and submission of copies (to PMU) all consents, permits, clearances, no objection clearances or NOCs, tree cutting permissions, and other relevant permits from various authorities before the start of construction
Disposal of existing old geo-bags and other materials used as temporary anti-erosion and flood protection measures, and disposal of all solid wastes during construction to designated locations and/or use of local municipal services
Provision of all requisite facilities (i.e. drinking water supply, sanitation, domestic solid waste collection and disposal, fuel supply etc.) at construction camps. Ensuring rehabilitation of borrow areas and other impacted lands in line with WRD guidelines, and decommissioning of construction camp before handling over the project.
Traffic management at work sites (i.e. pavement markings, channelizing devices, arrow panels and warning lights) along with construction and/or strengthening of landing ghats for barges
Water sprinkling for dust suppression, barricading, temporary noise barriers, and provision of personal protective equipment (such as boots, life-saving-jackets, etc.)
Implementation of biodiversity action plan and other biodiversity conservation and mitigation measures
Construct temporary alternative ghats and landing facilities. Restore disturbed sites post-construction.
