Earth work in cutting or in embankment in ordinary soil in subgrade excavation to be in the form of regular pits not exceeding 0.50 M in depth and earth work in embankment to be in 20cm layers including ramming and dressing the surface to required levels and slopes and also including 1.50m lift and 30m lead. The earth from cutting to be used in making embankment with-in 30m distance and mechanically compacted to achieve 95% procter density as per S.L. No 253(a) & 260 as directed by the Engineer incharge i/c cost of all labour. T&P etc. complete.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, as per Technical Specification Clause 401.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of 45-63 mm sizes to water bound macadam specification i/c spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100KN static roller in stages to proper grade & camber applying and brooming, crushable screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-2) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of 22.4-53 mm sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 KN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, crushable screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate watering and compacting to the required density Grading 3 as per Technical Specification Clause 405.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 using bitumen distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared dry and hungry bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of Type-C as per Technical Specification Clause 508.

Providing, laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bitumenious surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type 'C' as per Technical Specification Clause 510.

Earth work by power transport in embankment above 1.5 m height including removal of 20 cm. humus from bund seat and 15 cm. from borrow area as per direction of engineer-in-charge including cost & excavation of earth, loading, unloading, proper compaction and dressing to profile, lead upto 6km & all lift, labour, T & P required for proper completion of work

1st Class Brick on Edge Soiling i/c all cost of all Material, labour, T&P etc.
