REPAIR TO SUNKEN OF BATH/WCs, PLUMBING, SANITARY FITTINGS, CLEANING OF SERVICE TANKS ETC IN CERTAIN OMQs/ SMQs AT SECTOR 31 AT 3BRD UNDER GE (AF) MC CHANDIGARH

Demolition of lime concrete / lean concrete /Brick bats etc. from sunken slab portion exc. 15 cm thick but above ground floors, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge including removal of demolished material from MD land, debris away from site to a designated point by local administration or a distance up to 1.5 km from site complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for 25 mm thick cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregates as in flooring laid in slope complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L lean concrete type E-2 (1:5:10) using using 40mm brick aggregate as in sunken portion complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for 40mm GI medium grade Spout pipe for sunken work complete all as specified.

M&L for providing water proofing treatment of sunken portion of WCs, bathroom etc. by applying cement slurry mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound coating of make as approval in Technical Instruction 5/2003 by adding :- (a) 15mm thick plaster (1:4) cement sand mortar with integral water proofing compound 2% by weight of cement on floor and wall / beam, finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement. The surface shall then be cured and allowed to dry. (Note : Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately). (b) First layer of slurry of cement @0.5 kg/sqm mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.25 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hrs. (c) Second layer of slurry of cement @0.25 kg/sqm mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.15 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hrs followed with water curing for 48 hrs. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE : Floor area of the sunken slab shall be measured only. Make of Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious compound :- Fosroc (Brushbond) /Sika (Sikatop-100)

Supply only water proofing compound ISI marked complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repair 100 mm cast iron soil waste and vent pipe in any length with or without ears jointed with cement mortar (1:3) fixed to wall , laid in trenches or in floors, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

All as per item No. 7 here-in-before but 75 mm dia
