8135/21-22/E8 REPAIR/ MAINTENANCE OF SOLAR LIGHTS AND STREET LIGHTS AT KARU AND SHESHARTANG AREA UNDER GE 860 EWS

Amount

Excavation in trenches in hard / dense soil not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and not exceeding 1.5 m wide and getting out including trimming of sides, for laying of cables & foundation of poles, stay assembly, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and exc 1.5 m but not exceeding 3.0 m depth for foundation of poles and getting out in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type D2, using stone aggregate 40mm graded, with and incl necessary form work where required, as in foundation to pole/stay complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1, (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) , with and incl necessary form work where required and fair finish to the exposed surfaces as in coping to pole, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling and taking down unserviceable / defective solar street light fitting of any wattage and complete all as directed. Note : Old U/S Solar Street Lights to be deposited at E/M Yard of GE 860 EWS

Supply and fixing LED Solar street light fitting 36Watt including galvanized steel pole in built, lithium ion battery, solar panel, charge controller with dusk dawn sensor complete. (Excavation & earth work shall be measured separately

Labour only for taking down of old conductor of any description / size from LT Poles of any size, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F of Aluminium conductor, steel reinforced (ACSR) of any size, straining properly on insulators and binding on existing LT poles or new poles with and incl 02mm dia aluminium binding wire,complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : The 3% for sag, joints & jumpers shall be added in measurements.

Labour only for taking down / dismantling of old unserviceable insulators any type and any make from cross arms / pole of any size, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F, in replacement, pin type insulators, vitreous porcelain white, brown or green of 100 mm height and 65 mm dia, with and incl one galvanised MS spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, suitable for 1100 volts grade, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F, in replacement, shackle type insulators, vitreous porcelain white, brown or green of size 75 mm height and 90 mm dia, with and incl GI strip, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, suitable for 1100 volts grade, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps, angle iron, flats and back plates febricated from MS structural steel sections including nuts, bolts and washers of suitable sizes including welding, bending (cold or hot), drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of two coats of aluminum paint over one coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Labour only for dismantling of LT pole of any size & discription incl coping, foundation etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L Steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP-31 (9 metre long) all as specified duly factory painted with two coats of black bituminous paint internally through out and externaly for embeded portion and painting with one coat of red oxide primer, applying two coats of synthetic enamel aluminium paint on remaining exposed surfaces after errection complete, painting with synthetic enamel paint of colours black and yellow alternate strips of 30cm width upto 1.5 metre from the top of coping complete including making suitable holes where required all as specified and directed.

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6.3 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connecting to the Galvanised earth lead wire 4.0 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts , check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and steel earth wire protected by provision of GI light grade pipe 40 mm bore including provision of concrete pit made from PCC ( 1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) with 40mm thick cover of RCC 1:2:4 reinforced with XPM (Weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm) and frame of angle iron 40 x 40 x 6 mm and handle of 6 mm dia MS bar made to shape, GI light grade 20 mm bore pipe for watering perforated at bottom, 1.50 metre long placed on top edge of earth plate, common salt & charcoal filling, with fixing arrangement , funnel, wire mesh and earth work in hard/dense soil , returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metres, all as per electrical plate No 3 of SSR 2009 Part-I and connecting to Poles all as specified or indicated including testing on complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
