Water Proofing of Roof Tops of Building at Forensic Science Laboratory, Bikram Chowk, Jammu (Under Major Head 4055) (2nd Call)

Providing and applying liquid applied polymer modified waterproofing treatment over terrace/roof surface including removal of existing damaged APP membrane, surface preparation and separation layer complete. Surface preparation : Cleaning and preparing the concrete surface to our requirement, grouting the joints, or repairing the honeycombs with FIBCRETE SBR polymer modified mortar etc., making vattas at the junction of the RCC slab and the walls, with prepacked Polymer Modified Mortar as per manufacturers specification. Fill the slab area to check the water tightness of the RCC slab prior to waterproofing treatment for 48 hours. Mark the leaking points and treat them to make the leaking spots watertight using Fib grout HF-2 cement grout. Inj grouting of construction joints: Chase open cracks in v shape of 10 mm x 10 mm and fill and inject FIBGROUT HF-2 cementitious grout. Removing existing damaged/old APP waterproofing membrane from terrace/roof surface including cutting, scraping, chiseling, removal of adhesive residue, cleaning of surface, stacking of debris at designated location and disposal outside project premises complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Waterproofing treatment : Supplying and applying Anti-root, single component PMMA modified vinyl acetate-based polymer flexible liquid waterproof coating Fibelastic PLT in two coats by airless spray machine / Brush /Roller for maintaining thickness of 1mm @1kg/sqm having Elongation > 265% & Tensile strength 2.9Mpa (ASTM D 412), Bond strength to primed concrete 2.5 MPa (ASTM D 412) and Crack bridging up to 2.6 mm (EN 1062-7). The system includes one coat of cross-linked reactive primer eversil @150gm/sqm on dry prepared surface complete as per manufacturers specification. Allow the treatment to cure at least 48 hr. @30°C before laying protective plaster. Separation Layer (Horizontal Surface only) :Providing & laying a separation layer of Fib geotextile 200 GSM geotextile with an overlap of 50mm over the waterproofing membrane up to the coving level.
