M&L for maintenance and servicing of DG sets (monthly Inspection), of the following capacities including alternator, electric panel board connection to DG set for routine check (A check) of DG set for smooth functioning and carrying out maintanance as directed as specified for the following DG sets :- (a)100 KVA Capacity, 04 Nos (b) 82.5 KVA Capacity, 01 Nos (c) 62.5 KVA Capacity, 03 Nos (d) 250 KVA Capacity, 01 Nos (e) 31.5 KVA Capacity, 01 Nos (g) 30 KVA Capacity, 01 Nos

(i) Checking engine oil level and topping up as and when required . Note (i) Oil shall be measures and paid separately (ii) Checking and adjusting the belt for tension and replacement of belt. Note : Belt shall be measured and paid seperately (iii)Checking of air filter element (iv) Checking of exhaust system for leakage (v) Draining of sediment from fuel filter and fuel tank (vi) Cleaning of air cleaner element (vii) Checking engine alternator coupling, mounting bolts and alignment (viii) Tighting all nuts, bolts, in altenator terminal block (ix) Checking of alternator carbon brush and connections in alternator (x) Checking and tighting of all connection in DC control wiring. (xi) Checking of all radiator rubber hose and replacement if required. (xii) Checking and recording oil pressure, water and oil temperarute (xiii) Checking anti vibration mounting and replacement if required. Note : Anti vibration pad shall be measured and paid separately (xiv) Checking throttle linkage (xv) Checking battery for cell test, electrolyte level, gravity and topping up to required level (xvi) Routine check / repair work of panel, switch, MCCB, main switch, all contactors, engine control unit. (xvii) Checking of AMF panel, all electrical connections etc. (xviii) Checking of earthing resistance (xix) Cleaning of vegitation around the DG set up to 1.5 mtr area. (xx) Contractor shall employ skilled labour (FGM) for the above repairs and one company engineer/ technician for over all repairs once every in month.

M&L required for Inspection, maintenance and servicing of DG Sets of following Capacities including alternator, electric panel board connection to DG set for routine check (B - Check) of DG set for smooth functioning and carrying out maintanance complete all as directed and specified. Note: (i) B-Check once in six month OR 250 Hrs running of DG set whichever is earlier. NOTES : (i) Repeat the activities of A Check replacement of lubricating oil. Repair and servicing of self starter of DG set of any capacity by replacing its all worn out items and refixing after repair and testing complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repair of AVR for DG set having capacity 62.5 KVA complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

Overhauling of the Engine complete by opening of the Engine of DG set capacity 31.5 KVA installed at signal center at 17 Mech area with the replacement of Piston, Ring, sleeve, gasket all type, valves and other necessary worn out items including necessary boring, lath and head work restore it with full fuctionality and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : All items need to overhauling of the engine of DG set and couple to alternator are included in the job. No extra payment will be done. Contractor should quoted the rate accordingly.

Painting to 31.5 KVA DG set and its encloser complete first by removing old paints completely with coating of vernishing and then painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specfified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply only of the Radiator of DG set of any capacity as per exising, specification of orignal Manufaturer all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repair 4 pole change over switch as per IS-13947-3 with operating 415 V, 100A with Isc value = 80 KA and above all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling the radiator and fan from the engine for cleaning of copper tubes and cooling fins by using descaling solution and soldering, patch work including repair of water pump assembly and replacement of defective parts of water pump and re-assembling, testing complete upto 100 KVA DG set complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

M&L Dismantling all the connections from alternator of DG set up to100 KVA removing the alternator from foundations, transporting to workshop, dismantling completely including starter, rotor,cleaning all the parts with thinner and varnishing completely with F class varnishing, applying epoxy coating, reassemblying connecting and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge. NOTE :- spare parts like bearing,bushes shall paid separatly as supply only

M&L for Servicing of AMF Panel of DG set & Cleaning of dust by using blower & cleaning agents (Checking / Detecting faults & Removing Faults). Re-wiring of old unserviceable wiring & Testing of Control Wiring, including. replacement of un-serviceable parts of AMF Panel complete all as requirement and testing on completion of job on existing load etc complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE:- Un-serviceable parts shall be measured and paid separatly as supply only.

Supply & replacement of 100 Amp 4 pole contactor of DG set of any capacity, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & replacement of 115 Amp 3 pole contactor of DG set of any capacity, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling and taking down carefully the existing unserviceable geysers of 25 Ltrs storage capacity, any make, any model fixed in any position by disconnecting from electric connection and water inlet, out let connection and vent pipes etc from site (inside or outside bldgs) and transporting geysers from any location in Army Area to MES store yard / workshop, for carrying out repair work such as De-scaling/ over hauling / brazing welding etc and painting with one coat white colour synthetic enamel paint and re-fixing in same position including making good disturbed surface after complete repair work and reconnection of inlet, outlet pipe and vent pipe including testing complete to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Note: -(i)Replacement of parts shell be measured and paid separately as supply only. (ii) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of replacement of 4 Nos foundation bolts,nuts,washers of suitable size. (iii) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of transportation of geysers (incld. take back) from any location in Army Area to MES store yard / workshop, for carrying out repair work such as De-scaling/ over hauling / brazing / welding / painting and etc.
