REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF LIFTS AT AF STN CHANDIGARH

M & L for comprehensive systematic maintenance and periodical inspection service of passenger lift of capacity 8 persons (installed at ATC building) by the trained and qualified technicians of M/s Thyssen Krupp Elevators India (OEM) by providing routine maintenance, examination, lubrication service according to recommended schedule of maintenance/ service by the OEM i.e. M/S Thyssen Krupp Elevator once in a month during working hours (i.e. Monday to Saturday 0900 hours to 1700 hours) except scheduled holidays to furnish the necessary lubricants and cleaning materials including replacement of hydraulic fluid and machine gear oil of suitable grade in addition to accompany annual government inspection by the State Lift Inspector and compliance of shortcomingscomplete all as specified.

Notes for item No. 1 :- (a) The contractor will replace/ repair all the parts/ components free of cost ( through the OEM i.e.M/S Thyssen Krupp Elevator only) related to the normal working of the lift by replacing the defective spare parts ( except spare parts mentioned in respective item no 4 to 7 here in after) to keep the lift in fully serviceable condtion as required at the time of inspection cum maintenance and for smooth functioning of Lift complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (b)The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of all consumables and no extra payment will be made on this account. However, Spare parts listed at Srl item No 3 to 6 here in after shall be measured and paid separately.

M & L for comprehensive systematic maintenance and periodical inspection service of passenger lift of capacity 10 persons (installed at SRE building) by the trained and qualified technicians of M/s Johnson Elevator (OEM) by providing routine maintenance, examination, lubrication service according to recommended schedule of maintenance/ service by the OEM i.e. M/S Johnson Elevator Elevator for once in a month during working hours (i.e. Monday to Saturday 0900 hours t0 1700 hours) except scheduled holidays to furnish the necessary lubricants and cleaning materials including the replacement of hydraulic fluid and machine gear oil of suitable grade in addition to accompany annual government inspection by the State Lift Inspector and compliance of shortcomingscomplete all as specified. M & L for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 3.15 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to copper strip earth lead of size 20 x 3 mm by means of bolts, nut check nuts and washers of brass, earth strip protected by galvanized steel pipe 40 mm bore (medium grade) connected to test point all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR - Part I including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20 mm bore medium grade GI pipe for watering, funnel with wire mesh, PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 chamber, pit cover of precast RCC (1;2:4), type B-1 reinforced XPM of weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm and taking out unserviceable earthing etc, complete all as specified. Note - Copper strip 20 x 3 mm and GI protection pipe 40 mm dia upto a length of 7.5 mtr shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. Note - Old earthing may have been burried down to a depth of exceeding 2.25 mtr below ground level. No extra payment will be made if excavation is done beyong 2.25 mtr deep to retrieve the old earthing.

M&L for circuit/sub main wiring using 6.0 Sqmm PVC insulated and unsheathed FRLSH single core cables with stranded copper conductor in existing conduits including one run of continuous PVC insulated FRLS multi stranded copper cable of size 1 x 6.0 Sqmm as earth wire for earth continuity conductor including taking out old burnt/unserviceable wiring complete all as specified. Note :-Two runs of 6 Sqmm main cable + one run of 6 Sqmm cable for earth continuity shall be measured as one unit/one Running Metre.

M & L for cleaning of complete machine room, shaft area, lift car interior, refreshing main cable connections by providing new copper thimbles of size 25/35 sqmm on both ends & properly insulating, alignment & laying of cables/wires properly, checking of auto voice/audio system etc complete all as directed. Note - The job will be carried out twice during currency of the contract. The first one shall be done within 60 days from the date of commencement of work.

Notes for Ser item No 1&2 (a) The contractor will submit the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on stamp paper duly notarized with orginal Equipments Manufacturer (OEM) as applicable as per specification to the effect and maintanance shall be carried out strictly under OEM supervision and instructions, failing which the contract will liable to be cancelled on this account. (b) All complaints/ fault will bwe attended and rectified within 24 hours as per the direction of AGE E/M / JE (E/M) User's rep and make the lifts fully functional. Complaint will be given telephonically or through SMS. Contractor will provide his or his supervisor's moblile no for this purpose. Penalities as specfied in PS will be levied upon the contractor for not attending the complaint as specfied . (c) Bidders are advised to inspect site of work and condition of lift before quoting their rates in consultation with concern executives/OEMs.Nothing extra shall be admissible at any later stage. (d) Original service report for each lift dully signed by OEM's technician and user's rep shall be submitted to Engr - in - Charge once in a month.

Note: The Total amount shall subject to adjustment of credit of Rs. 1244.00 for old Materials as per Schedule of Credit.
