Improvements to the internal roads at PSR Golden Nagar in Karaikal Phase I

2.8.1 Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms , lift upto 1.5m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed , within a lead of 50m -All kinds of soil.

NS 60 Providing and laying unscreened gravel boulders to a consollidated thicnkess of 15cm for sub base couse including conveyance of site. Loading Unloading and stacking to departmental gauge on road side for premeasurement and spreading watering power rolling etc., complete. The volume of stacks calculated as per actual measurement shall be reduced by 15% for loosness in stacking to arriuve at the quantity. The rate to include labour charges for spreading and hand packing to required camber and gradient. Power rolling hire and fuel charges for all tools and plants employed diversion of traffic barricading arrangements etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

4.91.1B Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth three wheeled steel roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite Crushable type such as moorum / gravel for screening and gravel for binding to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density - by mechanical means - Water bound macadam Gr-I with Gravel screening. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)

4.92.1C Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth three wheeled steel roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite Crushable type such as moorum / gravel for screening and gravel for binding to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density - by mechanical means - Water bound macadam Gr-IIwith Gravel screening. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)

5.1 Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)

5.2 Providing and applying tack coat withbitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributer at the rate of .20kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous /granular surface cleaned mechanical broom (As per Morth specification 4ht Rivision)

5.3A Providing and laying bituminous macadam with hot mix plant of capacity not less than 40 to 60 TPH using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 507.7 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision, to achieve the desired compaction.- Using grade I metal and bitumen 60/70 grade.

5.7B Providing and laying semi-dense bituminous concrete with HMP of capacity not less than 40 - 60 TPH using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.5 to 5 percent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause 508 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision, complete in all respects - Using grade-II material and Using bitumen 60/70 grade.
