| 0.0 | Description of Work:
Carry out an In-Water Survey (IWS) of SL Rehand (Dimensions: Length – 25.0 m, Width – 5.8 m, Depth – 2.8 m, Draft – 1.2 m) while the vessel remains afloat.
The survey shall include a thorough inspection of the underwater hull, rudder, propeller, stern gear, sea chests, and other accessible underwater fittings, as required.
All survey activities shall be carried out under the supervision and direction of the attending IRS/IWT Surveyor and the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC), in accordance with the applicable survey requirements and standards.
Scope of Work:
• Arrange all necessary manpower, certified commercial divers, equipment, tools, underwater lighting, communication systems, and safety gear required for the survey.
• Carry out local cleaning of the underwater surfaces, wherever required, to facilitate proper inspection.
• Conduct a detailed underwater inspection of the hull plating, keel, rudder, propeller, stern gear, sea chests, and other accessible underwater appendages.
• Check for corrosion, wastage, cracks, dents, deformation, coating condition, marine growth, and any other visible defects.
• Capture underwater photographs and/or video recordings of all inspected areas and any identified defects.
• Carry out the survey in accordance with the requirements and instructions of the attending IRS/IWT Surveyor.
• Comply with all applicable safety regulations and obtain the necessary permits before commencing diving operations.
• Submit a comprehensive survey report, including observations, photographs/video recordings, and recommendations, duly accepted by the IRS/IWT Surveyor and the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC). | - | - | - | - |
