Sub-Head 1.3 Pavement

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405 WBM Grading 2

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.6-0.9 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared dry and hungry bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

20 mm thick Open Graded Premix Carpet using Bitumen Emulsionas per Technical Specification Clause 508.2

Seal Coat (Type C)

Providing and fixing of retro-reflectorised informatory sign on aluminium plate of size 600mm x 600mm as per IRC:67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide Cluse 1701.2.3 fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 450mm x450 mm x 600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per drawings and technical Specification Clauses 801.

Providing and fixing of semi reflective cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign board as per IRC:67 made of 1.5 mm thick MS Sheet duly stove white colour in front and gray colour on back with red reflective border of 65 mm width and required letters an

Earthwork in excavation for foundation of structures upto 3 m depth as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1104 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing ,removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling with approved materials including pumping out water , lighting, barricading, protecting etc. complete as per specification of rural roads. I) Ordinary Soil

Sand Filling: in foundation trenches as per drawing & technical specifications clauses 305.3.9 with fine sand.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4 mm dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS:4826 in 100 mm X 100mm mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 per cent extra for laps and joints with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg each as per drawing and technical specifications clause 1301

Line Drain (Stone masonry drain)

Stone masonry in cement mortar for substructure complete as per drawing & technical specification Clauses 702, 704, 1202 and 1204 III. Random rubble masonry iii) In 1:5 cement mortar

Plastering with Cement Mortar (1:4) 15 mm thick on stone work/Brick work as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 613.3 & 1204 complete.
