Amount

Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth, for foundation of PCC/Steel pole, laying of cable in trenches or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No 1 above but Exc 1.5 M and not Exc 3 m

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in soils complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L filling sand in trenches for sand cushioning of laying of cables to the full width of excavated trench 8 cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm above the cable, gently punned down, stretching and testing of cable on transformer yard etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Thickness of sand cushion after punning down (i.e 18 cm) shall be measured for payment.

Supply and Laying bricks, common burnt clay building bricks, sub class 'B' of old size 230 x 115 x 75 mm laid across in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & lay galvanised Iron tubing 50mm bore, light grade in protection of cable at road crossing/hard standing/pole protection fixed with MS clamps of size 40 X 4 mm, nut bolts and washer as per site requirement including taking down old unserviceable pipes complete all as specified and directed.

(a) Foundation bolts manufactured from special steel along with nuts, washers, anchor plates and templates complete all as specified and directed. (b) Design and casting of suitable shallow foundation with M-25 design mix concrete for high mast as per manufacturers norms considering the safe soil bearing capacity of soil as 10T/Sqm at 1.2 meters depth, however the soil bearing capacity be checked/confirmed by the Engineer-in-charge as per site condition and got approved by the GE before commencement of work.

(c) Advance Maintenance Free G.I. SAFE EARTHING Electrode with PIPE of not less than 50 mm outer dia( THICKNESS NOT LESS THAN -2.5MM) and two meter length, The electrode should be of galvinised (80 -100 micron) along with earth lead as Galvanised steel strip of size 32 X6 mm 7.5 m . The GI Electrode shall be pre-filled with Cristaline Conductive Material (CCM) . The GI electrode shall be surrounded with 25 kg BackFill compound to provide maximum contact between the electrode and Back Fill Compound. Backfill compound should be eco-frendly and having RoHs certification .
