Providing & laying Pavement Quality Concrete In Taxi-Track /Apron /Runway having a minimum work test beam strength of 41 kg per sqcm at 28 days using not less than 350 kg of cement per cum of finished concrete, coarse sand and graded stone aggregate of 40 mm nominal size in appropriate proportions as per specified design criteria in airfield pavement, laid in panels as per drawing/design and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge, mechanically vibrated including steel form work, including curing, cutting machanically dummy joints 10 mm wide x 1/3 of the thickness of slab, construction joints 10 mm wide x 25 mm deep etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge using Slip form paver & particular specifications. The concrete mix shall be designed for the following criteria : (a) Laboratory design test beam flexural strength at 28 days = 49 kg/sqcm. (b) Specified minimum work test beam strength at 28 days in the field (41 kg per sqcm.) (c) Slump = 0 to 12 mm (d) Water cement ratio by weight = 0.48 (max.) Note : For the purpose of Tendering, the contractor shall base his rate on the assumption that the quantity of Cement used for one cum of finished concrete shall be 350 kg. If the actual quantity of cement required to be used as a result of the laboratory test is different from that assumed above necessary adjustments in the cost of extra / short cement used shall be made on the basis of rate of cement @ Rs.4218.75/- per MT plus 15% towards overheads and contractor's profit.
Providing and laying polythene sheet of 400 microns thick, over 6 mm thick well compacted bed of fine sand on the base course with overlaps of not less than 75mm longitudinally and 75mm transversly, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer in-charge.
Providing and laying expansion joint 25mm thick using expanded polyethylene foam expansion joint filler pad in sheet form of brand "Supreme" capcell HD 100 or equivalent and 30mm dia non-cross-linked Expanded polyethylene armour rod as per manufacturers specifications. (Polysulphide and primer shall confirm to BS 5212-1990 and primer of grade RDL-942 of Choksey or equivalent. Note:(i) Mode of measurement shall be length of joint multiplied by net depth of filler pad in joint. (ii) Armour rod and polysulphide shall be paid separetly under item no. 17, 18 of BOQ.

Supply of cast iron isolating Transformer housing box, water tight round type, metal container of outside size 330 mm dia, height 450 mm made of 10 mm thick cast iron moulding all round, except the top surface, which is 15 mm thick, cast iron moulding suitable to receive a light fitting base plate on the top and underground housing associated with transformer, power cable and having two holes opposite as per site requirement at the periphery, center 75 mm above bottom surface suitable to receive 50 mm dia HDPE as required. The box should have two SS earh bolts of M10x40 mm tapped inside near the hole (4" away from hole center) and having drain hole at the bottom suitably tapped to receive 15mm dia GI pipe and having clear opening of 220 mm at the top surface and 06 Nos. M10 tapped hole having center to center distance of 260mm along with bolts as required as per the drawings.
Installation of transformer housing box soil & disposal of debries at a lead of atleast 50 mtrs i/c making 150mm thick cement concrete (1:2:4) all around the box and bottom i/c. providing and fixing 150mm long 15mm dia B-class GI pipe at the bottom of the housing box for drainage of water i/c. excavation, alignment, leveling, finishing with cement plaster of projected surface of housing box of size 1 mt. x 1 mt. approx. and neat cement finish on the top etc. as reqd and as per direction of Engineer-in charge .
Laying of 50 mm outer dia HDPE pipe by cutting soft soil upto 50cm, connecting both/one end to existing transformer housing box i/c refilling and making good the damages etc. as required as per specification.
