Dismantling/ racking the existing old unserviceable cement plaster and loose/unsound weaken cement concrete of any description and in any position from existing external/internal surfaces of wall, roof, chajja etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L repairs to cracks of any description,less than 5mm size by opening up cracks in V-groove manner approximately 6mm x 6mm size using mechanical cutter,cleaning the groove properly to remove loose particles, dust etc, sprinkling with clean water and filling with single component entitious crack filler using readymix powder of cementitious ingredients having compressive strength of 14 N/ mm² after 7 days of Make M/s STP Limited, M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Thermex complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L repair/rehabilitation works to damaged structure by drilling hole in RCC/Bricks structures using drilling machine up to a depth of 15 mm and 18 mm dia, removing dust, etc by vacuum cleaner and blowers, providing and fixing of heavy grade GI pipe nipple 15 mm dia, 75 mm long, @ 1.0 mtr c/c in both direction and injecting cement slurry mixed with Acrylic emulsion based concrete bonding agent cum cement modifier and cementitious based plasticized expanding grout @ 1.00Kg/50kg of cement bag through nipple and closing ends nipple epoxy putty/silica jelly after injecting the chemicals mixed with cement slurry complete all as specified and directed complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. M&L preparation of external wall surfaces,affected with seepage by applying acrylic elastomeric exterior waterproofing coating, liquid base,applied highly durable waterproof coating system with high quality acrylic emulsion, functional filler, sunlight stable pigment and quality fungicides to have seepage free wall complete all as specified and as directed. Note:-(i) The above treatment shall have properties that provide features like crack bridging ability, breathability, flexibility & exterior durability and resists micro-organism growth. (ii) The above treatment shall cover hairline cracks up to 0.5 mm effectively and shall have excellent crack bridging ability and shall bridge cracks up to 2 mm width. (iii) The elongation at break is approx. 200 %. The tensile strength is 0.72 Mpa. and has a hardness shore ‘A’ scale of 72, with an adhesion strength of 1.5 Mpa. (iv) The coating is UV resistant, algae and fungus resistant, and a crack bridging ability of 1-2 mm and the coating must be applied with temperature above 5°C and below 45°C. (v) The coating shall be applied in two coats of by roller or brush application at the interval of 4-6 hours.Allow applied coating to dry or cure for 7 days. (vi) Make of acrylic waterproofing coating: Make : STP Limited or Equivalent in M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Thermex .

M&L repairs to leakaged roof by applying 15-20mm screed with single component cement based Polymer modified fibre reinforced mortar and shall achieve a compressive strength of 15 MPa in 7day & 50 MPa in 28 days and a flexural strength of 7 MPa @ 7 days complete and finished the roof properly to match with existing using cement and sand mortar complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The treatment shall compensate both plastic and hardened shrinkage and have minimum direct adhesive bond strength of greater than 2 MPa., including alkaline, compatible with host concrete with similar thermal properties and shall achieve a elastic modulus of minimum 25 KN/Sqmm. M & L for water proofing treatment to existing damaged roof by curing of the surface using low viscosity emulsion @ 250gms/Sqm with daylight Reflectance of 70% as per ASTM E-1347 and to have a special alkali reactive emulsion breaking system and non-penetrating continuous film complies with the internationally recognized ASTM C309 standards including all tools and tackles complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. M&L for protection screed 10 mm thick using CM (1:4) over treated surface admixed with Acrylic emulsion based cement modifier of Make : STP Limited or Equivalent in M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Thermex complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for dismantling/taking down old existing unserviceable cement plaster loose/unsound weaken cement concrete of any description and in any position from existing surfaces with an average depth 15 mm with power driven of pneumetic chisel and removed the debris outside MOD land with a distance exc 1.5 KM and not exc 5.0 KM including cutting of all edges,making square shoulders of the cavities,roughening the smooth surfaces, scrapping out/removing corrosion all loose/scale/rust etc from the visible reinforcement by applying one part alkaline based rust remover, with corrosion inhibitors and dispersing agents having specific gravity of 1.18 and cleaning the steel reinforcement properly complete all specified and directed by engineer-in-charge. M&L for treatment to cracks in joints by applying epoxy bonding agent for proper bonding between old surface with micro-concrete/new surface and fixing shuttering around the structural members duly retrofitted complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) The bonding agent shall be a two component solvent free epoxy supplied as ready to use at site. (ii) The product shall have a minimum pot life of 30 Min at 35°C and an open time of atleast 30 Min @ 30°C up to which new concrete can be poured. (iii) It should develop a minimum compressive strength of 65 N/mm2 and a bond Strength of 3 MPa. M&L form work to sides and soffits of lintels, beams, columns, shelves, chajjas including overhangs etc for fair finished flat surface, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

M&L in repairs TMT bars 8mm dia and over as in reinforcement cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends & binding with and including MS annealed wire not less than 0.9mm dia complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Removing existing water proofing treatment and expose top surface of RCC slab and removing rubbish outside MD area clean the roof surface with wire brush and water and applying two coats of 1mm thickness waterproofing and protective coating on walls and floors ,etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The waterproofing system should comply with ASTM C836, ASTM D6083, ASTM D4541 having Hardness Shore 'A' scale of 50.Adhesion to substrate 0.4 Mpa,tensile strength(ASTM D412) 1.4 MPa Make : STP Ltd or Equivalent in M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Thermex.

M&L for water proofing treatment by applying single component cement based free flowing grout with 10 mm washed aggregates with non shrink property and a positive expansion of up to min 1 % in the plastic state to achive a compressive strength of 100 kg/Sqcm in 7 day & 500 Kg/Sqcm in 28 days complete all as specified and directed. Note:(i) It shall not bleed or segregate,having a minimum pot life of 20 minutes after which the expansion starts.(ii) It shall be chloride free and creep resistant with epoxy bonding agent having mix density of 1.10 kg/ltr,compressive strength 65 N/mm2 at 7 days bond strength 3 MPa at 7 days having an overlay time of 3 min at 30°C.(iii) pouring cementitious grout into the formwork using suitable arrangement or if required using pumping device for and the bottom shuttering after 7 days ensuring proper bond between the cementitious grout and existing concrete substrata etc including all tools and tackles as per accepting officer,complete all specified and directed by eng-in charge Make : STP Limited or Equivalent in M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Thermex .

M&L for water proofing treatment by applying anti-yellowing coating on wall of liquid state, applied highly durable waterproof coating system for wall, based on high quality acrylic emulsion, functional filler, sunlight stable pigment and quality fungicides complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) It shall have properties that provide features like crack bridging ability, breathability, flexibility & exterior durability and resists micro-organism growth.(ii) It shall cover hairline cracks up to 0.5 mm effectively. (iii) It shall have excellent crack bridging ability and shall bridge cracks up to 2 mm width. (iv)The elongation at break is approx. 200 % and the tensile strength is 0.72 Mpa. Note :- The work (item No 2 to 16 of BOQ) shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the any following manufacturer only. MOU to be submitted before commencement of work. Make : STP Limited or Equivalent in M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Thermex .

(a) A performance guarantee certificate for two years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified.

(b) Providing, fixing and erecting scaffolding in double face structure, as required along with approach system for the repairs / plastering of the buildings to facilitate execution of all items of works,complete with necessary support, propping system etc for external repair. The unit rate is deemed to be included this provision also.

(c) The unit quoted rated deemed to included for removing plant/ up rooting of vegetation growth including roots on wall/ roof/ parapet near pipe etc.

(d) The unit quoted rate deemed to be included for necessary safety equipments such as safety belt, ropes, helmets, netting etc mandatorily to be provided to labour working at height exceeding 3 mtr.

M&L Treatment of the sunken floor slab comprises of the following specification and all as specified Make :- Dr Fixit/ M/s Sika india Pvt Ltd/ STP Ltd/ M/s Fosroc Chemicals

(a) Demolition of cement concrete filling of any description in sunken portion in toilet and removing debris outside MD land.

(b) Cleaning the sunken/ lowered portion of RCC slab surfaces (including vertical total depth plus skirting height) of floors by wire brush, chisel out any mortar sticking to the surface and brooming completely. 40mm thick avg PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5mm graded aggregate as in padding conc to achieve proper sploe including cutting holes in bricks or RCC wall for spout (WPC shall be measured and paid separately)

(c) Rendering of uneven surfaces with 10mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound @ 3% by wt of cement consumed. Fill it with water and check dampness and seepage. Where dampness/ seepage is noticed, nozzles shall be fixed and grouting carried out. (WPC shall be measured and paid separately).

(d) All junctions points of side wall where CI/ GI pipes are passing through shall be sealed with epoxy putty.

(e) After drying putty, wash the slab and sides of sunken portion with water and make it clear and clean.

(f) M&L for applying two coats of polymer modified cementious water proof coating as per manufactures instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level+100mm height. The thickness of two layer shall be 1mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion all as specified and directed (This item shall be pleasured and paid separately)

(g) Plaster the bottom and sides up to bottom of the skirting with minimum 20mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound 3% by wt of cement consumed as per manufacturers specification including rounding of corners and junctions sloping towards spout. (WPC shall be measured & paid separately).

(h) M&L PCC 1:5:10 type E2, complete all as specified

(j) M&L PCC 1:2:4 type B0 12.5mm thick, complete all as specified

Note :- Test the water proof area (ponding test) by filling water for at least 72 hours and tested for leakage, seepage to the entire satisfaction of GE. Test shall be done in presence of reps of Engineer-in-Charge. The treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicator of chemicals. Cost of testing is included in the unit quoted rate above.

Supply Only integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed. Make:-Dr. Fixit Pidi Proof and equivalent.

Note for item No 34 :- The work shall be carried out by authorised and qualified applicators of the above mentioned manufacturer.

Dismantling floor, floor hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises and Material and labour for Glazed ceramic coloured tiles 450 x 300 mm x 7/8 mm thick set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match with tiles on vertical surface such as dado/ skirting including 10mm thick 1:3 backing coat complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 46 & 47 :- The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate of Tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

Dismantling/taking down old existing damaged cement plaster, loose/ unsound weaken cement concrete of any description and in any position from external / internal surface of RCC roof/ slab/ beams/ columns/ RCC facias for an average depth of 25mm (Approx height 7.5m from natural ground level) with power driven pneumatic flat/pointed chisel and removing the honeycombed area including all the corners and making a neat profile of the cavities, roughen the smooth surface, scrapping out/removing corrosion all loose/scale/rust etc from the visible reinforcement by applying. Geopolymer based Geo Krete-VR of Make eco materials or equivalent in FOSROC chemicals/ Tiki Tar/ M/s STP limited (as approved by GE) over the existing damaged surface including mixing mortar with recommended water cement ratio and levelled the surface to match with existing surface all as per manufacturer's instructions as specified and directed. Note:-The geo polymer based water impermeable ceiling and vertical surface repair mortar shall have compressive strength of 10 Mpa in 3 hours and 35 Mpa in 28 days without any water curing and curing compounds having a water penetration of less than 3mm when tested as per DIN 1048 and RCPT value of less than 900 coloumbs when tested as per ASTM C 1202.

Note for item No 49 :- The tenderer shall take into consideration the following points while quote rate for the above item :-

(a) Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete or ceilings etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises, removal and depositing unserviceable materials outside MD land and leaving the work clear of any plastering or Racking out joint/pointing to stone masonry, coursed or uncoursed in wall complete all as specified and directed. The unit rate is deemed to be included this provision also.

(b) Surface preparation such as creating mechanical key like roughning the surface by scrubbing, grit blasting and cleaning the existing surface using high pressure water jet machine having pressure up-to 500 to remove the dirt, dust, loose particles, wax, efforencence and other contaminations from the surface of RCC columns/beams/slabs/ facia/any brick/stone surfaces etc all as manufactures and all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The unit rate is deemed to be included.

(c) Providing, fixing and erecting scaffolding in double face structure, as required along with approach system for the repairs / plastering of the buildings to facilitate execution of all items of works,complete with necessary support, propping system etc for external repair. The unit rate is deemed to be included this provision also.

(d) Material shall be procured from the authorised manufacturer only.

(e) The work shall be carried out through authorised and qualified applicators of the manufacturer only.

M&L Preparation of plastered or un plastered old surfaces of walls, Chajja, balcony, facia etc. by brooming down or steel wire brushing scrapping down, smoke shoots moulds, mass efforescent salt, treating oil and greasy spots etc and applying one coat of cement based paint complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surface of wall, chajja, balcony, facia etc., brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent, trading, oil, greasy spots and applying one coat of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of old plastered surfaces of wall by using pressure washer, removal all dirt and dust and applying one coat of exterior emulsion weater proof paint complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Factory made UPVC three track sliding Window frame having 2 tracks for glass shutter and 1 track for mosquito sash made of upvc profile section of size 73mm x 42mm (wxh) having outer wall thickness of 2.0mm(+/-0.2mm). Sliding glass shutter shall be made of UPVC section of size 55mm x 33mm and sliding wire mesh shutter shall be made of UPVC section of size 40mm x 22mm. All section of the frame, sash, transom & mullion, as applicable, shall be duly reinforced with G/J/U/O shape galvanised mild steel section of required thickness considering structural / wind load requirement. System shall be provided with the suitable upvc bead for glazing of the system & fitted with inner & outer EPDM seal gaskets. Note :- The contractor will have to submit 5 years warranty certificate for upvc profile and 1 year warranty certificate for hardwares.

(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)

(e) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.

Note for item No 126 :- a) Providing and fixing Aluminium Composite panel cladding including framing as per the elevation, section and the plan fabricated out of heavy duty Aluminium extruded profiles conforming to alloy 643900 WP with chemical composition and mechanical properties as per IS-733 and as per specifications.

b) The contractor must design the cladding as per the prevalent site conditions and building elevations profiles. No extra claims shall be entertained at any stage for aluminium profile/ wall thickness and size dimensions. The Contractor must quote rates accordingly.

c) The anchoring / bracing of the wall cladding to the RCC beams/ columns shall be done with non-corrosive galvanized brackets of approved design, (Galvanizing to be done conforming to IS 4759-1996 up to 610 gms. Per Sq. M. (80- 90 micron thickness).

d) The framework shall be aligned for the entire height of each Mullion and of the entire width of each Transform by laser beam equipment to ensure 100 percent „X‟ axis and „Y‟ axis alignment.

e) The system should also provide for pressure equalization. The details for pressure equalization to be submitted by the contractor and got approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

f) EPDM Gaskets of suitable profiles (to accommodate shall be provided including the labour element for fixing in appropriate locations is to be included in the rate).

g) The Periphery of the framework shall be sealed both from inside and outside with silicon weather sealant to make the cladding watertight.

h) Cost of Aluminium composite panel consisting of a core of polyethylene sandwiched between two aluminium skins of 0.5mm thickness with a mild edge. 4 mm total thickness with surface finish of PVDF coating as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge, as shown in the elevation, plan and cross section drawings along with labour element for cutting stacking, carrying to heights and fixing to appropriate locations is included in the rates.

j) All the vertical and horizontal section grooves are to be sealed non staining silicon sealant of make as specified in the list of approved make to make the entire system synchronies with the basic structural glazing/curtain wall structure and also make the system air tight and watertight. The fixing details should be got approved by the Engineer- in-charge. The peel off foil should be removed at the time of handing over as may be required by the Engineer-in-charge.

k) ACP shall be as approved with high fiber filled sandwiched panel 4mm install on Aluminium framing and Galvanised brackets. Aluminium cladding panel to be PVDF fluorocarbon coated factory applied colours. Reverse side to be in mill finish. All the joints shall be sealed with silicon sealant of approved make. The colour of sealant to be decided by Engineer-in-Charge.

l) A sample of panels and installation methods to be submitted to the Engineer in-Charge for approval.

M&L Water proofing treatment of existing roofs as per details given below after complete removal of existing water proofing treatment and expose of top surface of RCC slab of any thickness, any type by stripping out old tar felt over roofs, parapets, chimney stacks etc laid horizontally or vertically including taking out layer of cement plaster etc and cleaning the surface with water and using wire brush including removing debris to outside the MOD land complete all as specified and as directed :-

(a) Dismantling existing cement concrete/ roof tiles on roof including removing debris to outside MOD land as directed.

(b) Bring upto the slope by providing filling of light weight materials such as cinder, light weight concrete etc as required & then providing PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates of average thickness of 50 mm.

(c) Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 on concrete roof surfaces and finish the surface even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing water proofing compound as per manufacturer’s instructions.

(d) Surface should be free from any loose paint, dust or grease. Remove all existing bitumen coatings completely by using intense wire brushing, high speed water jet & vacuum cleaner for thorough cleaning of the surface to avoid ‘Peeling off’ problems.

(e) All cracks at corner joints, channels and parapets should be properly treated. For filling cracks upto 3mm crack seal material of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical to be used. Bigger cracks, damaged portions & hollow areas must be repaired with polymer modified cement mortar.

(f) Apply a coat of self priming smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical with 33% dilution with water using brush/roller on newly plastered surface after curing as per IS-456 and allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours (dilution & forced coverage requirement strictly as per manufacturer’s instructions).

(g) After the primed surface has dried, apply first coat of water proofing smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical using brush/roller on the same primed surface & allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours.

(h) Prepare for apply 2nd coat of water proofing smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical using brush/roller on the same surface. The temp to be maintained 25 to 35° C through out the all above application work.

(j) In case of severe dampness an additional coat of damp proof materials to be applied.

Note for item No 169 to 178 :- (i) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the following manufacturers only. MOU to be submitted before commencement of work. Make : M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical

(ii) Material shall be procured from the authorised manufacturer only.

(iii) A performance guarantee certificate for 10 years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified.

(iv) The unit quoted rate is deemed to include taking down of water pipeline, tanks, wires (etc) found on roof and refix at the original position after complete treatment of roof.

(v) Providing, fixing and erecting scaffolding in double face structure, as required along with approach system for the repairs / plastering of the buildings to facilitate execution of all items of works,complete with necessary support, propping system etc for external repair. The unit rate is deemed to be included this provision also.

(vi) The unit quoted rated deemed to included for removing plant/ up rooting of vegetation growth including roots on wall/ roof/ parapet near pipe etc.

(vi) The unit quoted rate deemed to be included for necessary safety equipments such as safety belt, ropes, helmets, netting etc mandatorily to be provided to labour working at height exceeding 3 mtr.

Repair of leakage/seepage from the Nahani trap/ floor trap of kitchen/ bathroom/ washbasin of the upper Qtr, in any position at any height, complete including change of floor trap, PVC horinzontal pipe embeded in floor in bathroom or kitchen making good to the damage portion of flooring, laying and matching of tiles in the existing flooring, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Repair of leakage/seepage from the wall/ door bend /door tee/ 'Y' junction/ 'T' Junction of soil pipe / waste pipe/ vent pipe of kitchen/ bathroom/WC of the upper Qtr or at the ground floor Qtr including change of any damage soil waste pipes or fittings of any shape, specification and size, making good to the damage portion of wall with brick work in cement mortar 1:6 or cement concrete 1:2:4 and plastering to wall in CM 1:4 and matching to existing wall complete to avoid the leakage/ seepage at the site of work as directed and specifie by the Engineer -in- charge

Note for item No 186 & 187 :- (a) Find out main cause of leakage and take necessary steps to resolve / rectify. (b) Replace existing tiles in case lakage through NT/FT. (c) The rate also include provision of new NT/FT. (d) The unit rate is also deemed to be included for reqd bonding chemicals to arrest the leakage/seepage as direct by the manufacturere specification. Attending unserviceable/ non functional street light complaints (for street light/perimeter lights/high mast light/flood light etc of any type/size fitted on poles/walls/post/pillars etc) by deploying technically qualified and experinced techinicians to find out defective/taking out unserviceable parts such as electronic driver, pvc insulated copper conductor cable for connecting street light fittings etc and repairing by changing the defective parts including minor repair to cable connection/loose connection, screws,nuts & bolts and insulation tap to insulate the LT joint etc and testing complete all as specified and as directed for domestic area of old kalpa colony, new kalpa colony, Mehra colony, MAP qrts, Akash enclave, Gulmohar enclave, Kiran enclave, MES colony, AFWWA, various connecting roads and other facilities such as shoping complex/ various institutes/ messes/ play ground, complete perimeter etc located in complete domestic area and technical area at AF Station Sulur

Note for item No 195 : The following items are deemed to be inclusive of quoted rate :-

(a) The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having ITI in electrical, documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced before commencement of work.

(b) 'Supply only' items to be delivered/ supplied to AGE E/M store yard as per qty asked by Engineer-in-Charge with in one calender month from the date of commencement of contract and these items will be issued from AGE E/M store yard for attending unserviceable/ defective street light complaints.

(c) Contractor or his Authorised Representitive has to inspect all Street/ Security Lights on Daily basis at their own arrangement between 7.00 PM to 9.00 PM and maintain the record in Register which will be put up to Engineer-in-Charge/ JE on the very Next day.

(d) A Joint Inspection for Serviceability of all Street/Security Lights will be carried out from 7.00 PM to 9.00 PM on every MONDAY by Engineer-in-Charge/ JE (E/M)/ User alongwith Contractor or his authorised Representitive.

(e) Contractor has to arrange own moveable Generator of suitable capacity for repairing and testing of the Street/ Security Lights, defect rectification of Cables, etc. and to check the serviceability after repair. No Electricity shall be provided by the Department on this account.

(f) Quoted Unit Rate shall deemed to be inclusive of attending any breakdown of Street/ Security Lights during night. Contractor has to arrange Electrician and Helper and all necessary T&P and Equipments to remove the breakdown. Fault will be intimated through Telephone/ SMS.

(g) In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 12 hrs after handing over routine/urgent work, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

(h) The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the Engr-in-Cahrge more than twelve hrs after handing over works of urgent nature to the contractor. The Engr-in-Charge shall handover the slip containing specification of work to the contractor by lodging the time and signature of contractor be obtained on slip. The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report to Engr-in-Charge with in 12 hrs. The contractor will keep his tradesmen in stand by for attending any routine / urgent works from the executive. If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 12hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more then twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 50/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforceabove as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt. The decision of the Accepting Officer is this regards shall be final and binding.

(j) Contractor has to ensure serviceability of all Street/ Security Lights of DOMESTIC & TECHNICAL AREA on Daily basis in any Weather Condition at their own arrangement.

(k) Contractor shall provide conveyance to the deployed labour for maintaining the services without any extra cost to department.

(l) Vehicle mounted ladder for maintaining services shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost to department.

(m) Materials required for the repairing of the lights shall be measured and paid separately under respective item(s). But labour required for taking down, dismantling, repairing and replacing parts and reinstalling and testing the street lights fittings shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted.

(n) Necessary T&P, Safety Belt, Vehicle, Aluminium Ladder, etc. will be arranged by the Contractor and Cost for the same shall deem to be included in the Quoted Unit Rate.

(o) All safety measures and provn of all safety devices, first aid box etc shall be provided by the contractor. Contractor will be solely responsible for full safety of the persons deployed for providing the services and department will have no liability for any type of accident/injury of any type. Unit rate quoted will be deemed to include the cost of the same and no extra payment shall be made on this part.

(p) All type of T & P, PVC insulation tapes, minor nuts/ bolts/ washers etc required for maintaining the services shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to department.

(q) Attending and repairing complaint for one light of any type shall be measured and paid as one Job.

(r) Earth work (if necessary at Site) for removing of any Cable Fault will be Measured and Paid under respective Items.

(s) The contractor shall maintain a record of all urgent work at and if the work is repeated due to poor workmanship, he will be liable to repair the same without any extra expenditure to the Govt.

(t) Contractor shall provide contact details of his responsible person(s) for any emergency.

(u) Any Materials replaced which are not specified in SCHEDULE OF CREDIT will be deposited to MES STORE YARD without any extra Cost to the Department.

Disconnecting of burnt/ damaged cables from panels/ junction boxes etc, cutting out the burnt out ends, making new end joints by supply and fixing new aluminium lugs/ insulation tapes etc and reconnecting using new nuts/ bolts/ washer etc and restoring three phase and neutral in the junction box complete all as directed for the 10/16 sqmm 4 core size of LT underground armoured cables. Note :- Earth work required for extending the incoming/ outgoing cable in junction box/ panel board etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

Cleaning vegetation around the LT pole completely root out from soil and clean the surface one mtr around the pole of street lights. Note : Removing of accumulated earth depth upto 15cm cleaning / Cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/ kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste to outside MD land is deemed to be included in quoted rate.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising 17mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 A by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation all as specified and directed. Make : Model HTSP 317 of safeTrode or equivalent in ISG Global/ ERICO.

The unit quoted rate shall deem to be included for the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 04 number of earthing) to achive earth result less than 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor before commencement of work.

(v) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintened duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(vi) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(vii) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(viii) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(ix) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is mainained.

(x) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing per each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor for the guarantee period.

(xi) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH valve should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(xii) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xiii) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xiv) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm should be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end (copper strip will be measured and paid separately).

(xv) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvi) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bonded rod to ensure genuity of material.

(xvii) Sign board of mild steel 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing should be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

(xviii) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

S&F in repairs Copper strip 20 x 3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc all as directed. Note : All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

M&L Earth pit cover made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 9.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm dia for each electrode pit complete all as specified and directed. Make : Model SEPC 250 of SAFE TRODE/ Electrogrip Model EGTEK3LC of ISG Global or equivalent in ERICO. Note :- The contractor shall submit load bearing capacity certificate from the manufacturer.

External timer should have auto calculate ON/ OFF time as Sunrise and sunset time changes on day to day basis.
