Excavation in trenches not exc 1.50 mtr wide and not exc 1.50 mtr in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil for laying of under ground cable, pole or stay assembly etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.50 mtr wide and exc 1.50 mtr depth but not exc.3.00m and getting out in soft/loose soil for laying of under ground cable, pole or stay assembly etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in soft/loose soil, including, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm complete all as specified and directed. (NOTE : The top of filled trench shall be made proud by using the excavated soil to cater for subsequent settlement of soil).

Removing excavated materials (soils) not exc 50.00mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 mtr above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and spreading dry sand of approved quality for cushioning of UG cable laid in trenches including consolidation etc. complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Compect thickness will be measured & paid.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of electric cable, heavy duty 11KV (E) grade, XLPE insulated, screened with sound compacted aluminium conductor, conductor screening with extruded semi-conducting layers insulation screening with copper tape covers laid up with PVC (ST-2) extruded inner sheathing galvanised steel strip armoured PVC (ST-2) outer sheathed cable conforming to IS-7098(Part-II) amended of following sizes, laid in trenches/cable duct complete all as specified and as directed :- (a) Nominal cross sectional area of 120 sqmm, 3 core

(b) Nominal cross sectional area of 70 sqmm, 3 core

Supply, jointing and testing cable jointing kit for 11KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through cold shrink type joint complete with jointing materils and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 sqmm to 185 sqmm. Make: Raychem/ M Seal/Denson

All as per item No 8 above but 3 core 50 to 95 sq mm

Supply, jointing and testing cable jointing kit for 33KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through cold shrink type joint complete with jointing materils and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 sqmm to 185 sqmm. Make: Raychem/ M Seal/Denson. Note :- (a) Cutting of faulty cable / joint is deemed to be included in the above quoted rates. (b) Earth work i.e.exc, removal, and returning filling will be measured & paid separetly

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HVP, type 1 with peak, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified and directed.

Re-laying only old un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover in trenches for Under Ground cable protection, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing GI pipe light grade for cable protection incl all fittings laid in trenches or fixed on pole all as specified for 80mm dia.

S&F in replacement lightining surge arrestors expulsion type complete with all fittings such as bolts, nuts, washers etc having transmission class, discharge capacity 65 kilo amp all as specified and directed. Make : Elpro/ Alstom/ Oblum/ Rastriya/ Atlas/ Pactil.

M & L for disconnecting and taking out HT VCB for Overhauling of Spring charge unit including cleaning & removing of scales, soot or any hydroscopic layer accumalated on copper bus bar using proper chemical cleaning reagents like CRCs, ,checking nuts,bolts, make break operation both mechanically and electricaly smooth including greasing of all moving/ fixed contact,nut & bolts checking contact resistance, Internal control wiring, repairing/replacing heating coil removing moisture for all the feeders, Servicing of Spout insulators safety shutter for effective covering by automatically open/close while draw in/draw out operations, Checking and tightening control wiring and rectifying the defects if any complete all as directed by EIC. (Note: Spares required for replacement will be paid and measured separately)

Disconecting of cables from HT 11KV VCB panel of capacity 400/630Amp, 350MVA cheking of earth fault and over current relays testing of relays with the help of relay testing kit (boosting Kit) and resting of relays as per desire load current reconnecting the cables ,including calibaration of relays, checking of tension spring and adjusting for proper tripping and functioning and replacement of U/S parts if required and testing complete for tripping all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Dismantling and taking down unserviceable MS cross arms bracings and supports,clamps nut bolts etc. complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for mild steel cross arms,bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel section including nuts,bolts washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts in any shape/size as directed including painting with two coats of approved colour over a coat red oxide primer all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Dismantling and taking down including disconnecting unserviceable aluminium conductor steel reinforced from the pole or over head lines or from cross arm of any size dia type complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge

Supply, fixing, stringing of ACSR conductor of any type/ size including fixing to insulators with binding wire complete on existing poles all as directed by Engr-in- Charge. Make: Allind/ ICC/ Bharat Conductor/VK conductors/ NICCO.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate for foundations, filling and mass concrete etc. all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded for pedestal coping including necessary formwork finished etc. complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and install in replacement of steel tubular swaged poles type 410 SP-55 (11 mtr long) complete with CI base plate and finial taper plug,bolts, nuts and screws as specified all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- Excavation and earth work only will be measured separetely all other accessories and work deemed to be included in quotyed rates.

M&L for painting with two coats of smoke grey synthetic enamel paint by spray painting machine on transformer complete incl conservator tanks, fins etc all as directed & shown by Engineer-in-Charge after preperataion of old surfaces by cleaning agents & writing MES No, SM Nos, capacity, Serial No, date of dehydration etc. for the followings:- (a) Transformer capacity up to 250 KVA

(b) Transformer capacity from 250 KVA to 500 KVA

M&L for anti-climbing device, spikes type fabricated out of MS. bars (round, square and flat) including nuts, bolts, washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross-section of the pole including taking out old unserviceable rusted out anti climbing devices. complete all as directed.

Supply and fixing of danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet vitreous enameled white with letter, figures and conventional skull & bones in signal red colour & fixed with MS clamps, bolts, nuts and of size 25 x 20cm for HT 11KV including taking out old unserviceable rusted out danger plates complete all as directed.

Material and labour for Earthing in repairs with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick burried directly in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5mtr below normal ground level connected to GI earth strip of 32x6mm by means of nuts,bolts, checking nuts, washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of MES SSR part-I connected to earthing test point including excavation/earth work in any type of strata, watering pipe with funnel, PCC chamber with PCC cover slab without GI protection pipe all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Strip/wire beyond 7.5 mtr in length shall be measured & paid seperately.

All as per Item No 34 above but copper earth plate electrode of 600 x 600 x 3.15 mm and 20 x 3mm copper strips.

Supply & Fix GI strip 32x6 mm as earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed on poles / walls laid intrenches including fixing arrngement all as shown & as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling & taking out the old HT conductor joints from HT poles /sub stations etc. all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for hydraullic compression type wedge joints for ACSR Mink / Ferrait conductor with aluminium connectors, lugs, Aluminium barrel type lugs SS nut bolts all as shown & directed Note :- (a) The Supply only of SS nut bolts and S& F of conductor will be measured & paid seperately. (b). The tools & plants required for carrying out the job deemed to be included in the job. (c). The Contractor is advised to visit the site before quoting.

Supply only the following spares for Wedge Joints :- (a) Compression type 'T' connector suitable for ACSR Mink / Ferrite Conductor

Dismantling 11KV of 400Amps current rating air break gang operated switches vertical / horizontal mounted including insulators and operating mechanism for insulators and operating mechanism for repair / replacement of broken / worn out components and insulators etc. or carrying to store yard for safe cusoty for further disposal or as specified or directed. further necessary action Note :- Unserviceable spare/components for replacement will be measured and paid separately under respective Sch 'A' items as "Supply only"

Note :- (i) Minor spares / consumeable items deemed to be included in the quoated rates. (ii) Unserviceable spares such as fix top / lower contact, insulators replaced will be measured and paid seprately as"Supply only"

Supply only the following items :- ( To be incorporated under Item No : 51 above) (a) Fix top contact/L contact for drop out fuse.

Supply & Fixing ACSR conductor (Ferret) jumper connections of following lengths both ends secured with suitable aluminium lugs or one end with AIuminium lugs and other end plain for binding with conductor encased with polythylene pipe, RYB colours of suitable dia complete all as directed for the followings:- (a) Exceeding 0.75 mtr length but not exceeding 1.5 mtr length.

(b) Exceeding 1.5 mtr length but not exceeding 2.5 mtr length.

(c) Exceeding 2.5 mtr length but not exceeding 3.0 mtr length.

S&F GI pipe, light grade, 20 mm dia made to shape for gang operating from ground complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Supply, install, testing and commissioning in replacement of 11KV outdoor type polymer based gang operated air brake switch triple pole,suitable for verticle mounting complete with explusion fuses,GI operating rod of suitable length for operating mechanism worked from ground level complete in both OFF and ON positions, for current rating upto 200 Amps, each pole consist of galvanised steel base HT insulators as per BSS / ISS non ferrous knife and spring loaded contacts, arcing horns of adequate section to brake magenetizing current of the transformers. All ferrous parts hot dipped galvanised and non ferrous parts heavelly tinned to withstand weather. Make : Pactil (Madras)/ Southren Switchgear/ Universal/ BHE/ ELPRO/ Rastriya.

All as per item No. 59 above but of current rating 400 Amps

S&F in replacement polymer based dropout fuse unit complete set suitable and including for 11 KV, HT outdoor and dropout type of capacity 200 Amps including jumper connections with copper flexible designed jumper and testing and commissioning all as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge .

All as per item No. 61 above but of current rating 400 Amps

S&F in replacement Pin type insulator of 11 KV including necessary hardware. Make: Alstom/ Oblum/ Rastriya/ Atlas/ Pactil/ Jayshree/ BHEL.

S&F in replacement disc type insulator,ball and socket type, 2 in series for 11 KV including necessary hardware . Make: Alstom/ Oblum/ Rastriya/ Atlas/ Pactil/ Jayshree/ BHEL.

Dismantling and taking down of unserviceable HT insulators any size/type/capacity and keeping aside for safe custody for further disposal as specified or directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Takling down HT cable connections from the HT VCB panel 400/650 Amp 350 MVA kept at Power House - 1 , tranporting carefully the entire unit to TMQ poawer house VCB room and connecting the same to Exisiting VCB panel with all necessary connectors,fitting and fixture testing and commissioning of the entire system for its satisfoactory operation complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: 1. Necessary spares if required will be measured and paid under Prime Sum Cost. 2. Labour cost for fixing of required spares in deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Disconnecting the distribution transformers outdoor / indoor type from HT/ LT system and opening carefully at site only by draining out transformer oil upto HT/LT boxes for rectifying the leakage by replacing the unserviceable spare parts of capacity 25 to 500 KVA transformer, refilling the transformer oil and complete assembling after repairs including testing for any oil leakages and connecting the HT/ LT system after the leakages have been rectified and tested on available electric load. Note :- Defective parts replaced will be measured and paid separately as "Supply only" under respective items here in after.

Supply only LT bushings with brass studs of existing specification.

Supply only top cover gasket set.

Supply only radiator flanged gasket 6 mm thick.

Supply only oil level indicator gasket set.

Supply only HT bushing with studs 11 KV of existing specification.

Supply and fix in replacement expulsion vent diaphragm of suitable size to match with the existing.

Supply and fix in replacement of breather assembly transparent plastic body with top and bottom portion pressed with metallic cover, filled with silica gel blue in colour and suitable for fixing on existing pipe of size 15/20/25 mm dia with suitable reducers/connectors etc as per site requirement /capacity of transformer. Note :- Rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of modification if any required to fix on existing MS Pipe.

M&L for taking down transformer oil level indicator assembly from conservator tank of transformer upto 500 KVA capacity from position for making visibility of oil level by lowering oil level in conservator including cleaning thouroughly, replacement of gasket and acrylic sheet, reassembling in position, refilling the removed oil all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and laying synthetic Rubber insulated mats 3 mm thick for voltage upto 11 kv for electrical purpose as per IS 15652-2006, (superseding IS 5424) suitable for electrical shock safety of sizes 2m x 1m

Taking out / down faulty serviceable 11KV, HT UG cable in existing trenches/duct/on HT poles of nominal cross sectional area from 16 to 185Sqm, 3 core including disconnecting, PCC covers, GI Pipe etc. of any descriptions, including segregation of serviceable materials viz PCC cable cover, GI Pipes etc. and tracing the location of fault and keep in safe custody for re-use complete all as specified and as directed NOTE : (i) Earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under relevent items (ii) Serviceable cable covers will be kept aside for re-use (iii) Serviceable GI pipe will also be kept aside for re-use

M&L for PCC cable route indicator of total height 750 mm duly written "HT CABLE" to be fixed with PCC with 150 mm depth in ground including taking out old unserviceable indicator, complete all as specified and as directed by Engrs-In-Charge. Note: Cost of PCC for fixing of route indicator to be catered in this item rate
