SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I [ EXT WATER SUPPLY WORKS]

Supply and fixing in trenchs centrifugally cast (SPUN) ductile iron pressure pipe of 100mm nominal dia with socket and spigot ends conforming IS : 8329/2000, classification K7, ISI marked suitable for push joint with rubber gasket conforming IS 5382 and cement mortar lining with epoxy seal coat in internal and external metallic zing coating with a finishing coat of black bitumen coating including provision of specials, such as tee's elbows, bends, reducers, taper pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying in trenches steel water tubing galvanised medium grade and connection including fitting like Tee, Bend, Socket, Elbow, Short pieces connectors, plugs,unions and reducer etc, cutting threading complete for the following sizes all as specified and directed.

a) 50 mm dia GI medium grade pipe

b) 25 mm dia GI medium grade pipe

Supply and fix in repair of Sluice valve of 80mm dia CI body double flanged and drilled conforming to IS-780 of 1980 PN-1.6 including rubber gasket 3 mm thick, stainless steel spindle, iron wheel head and suitable size of nuts bolts and washers complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix for 50mm dia gun metal gate valve (ISI) marked with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipe suitable for following bore of pipe including taking down old existing gate valve complete all as speficied and directed.

Supply and fix for 25mm dia gun metal gate valve (ISI) marked with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipe suitable for following bore of pipe including taking down old existing gate valve and deposite to MES store yard complete all as speficied and directed.

M & L for cutting of existing pipe line of any dia 200/150/100/80/50 mm with help of suitable T & P for new connection of water supply line to take connecting with out any leakes all as specified and directed.(Note:- Specials required for conneection deemed to be included in the rate quoted for pipe line under relevent item)

Material and labour for construction of Brick masonary valve pit complete including excavation , earth work in any type of strata with bottom 100mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C1, 23cm thick BW with sub class b set in CM (1:4) over 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 foundation, 50 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 coping on the top of wall, rendering 15 mm thick with CM 1:4 on inside and exposed external surfaces up to 150mm below GL, 3 mm thick MS sheet cover, angle iron frame and locking arrangment etc.,two coat of paint over primer in steel surface including dismantling old existing damaged valve pit complete for following internal sizes all as specified and directed:-

a) 1.2mx0.9mx0.9m

b) 0.6mx0.6mx0.6m

Excavation in trenches for laying of GI water tubing etc., getting out in Hard/dense soil n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m depth complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and in layers n.exc 25cms thick without damaging pipes/special fittings as in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Cutting the existing bituminous road / cement concrete surface to the required width and depth for laying pipe lines including returning filling in, removal of surplus material and making good the top level to match the raod surface complete all as specified.

Taking down old unserviceable 50mm dia GI pipe and complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old unserviceable 80mm dia CI pipe including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old unserviceable 25mm dia GI pipe and complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair of pressure gauge dial type with sihon assembly including necessary arrandement and weldi, cutting etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair of 80mm dia non return valve PN-1.6 confirming to IS- 5312 both end flanged heavy duth including jointing by means of rubber gasket 3mm thick, MS nut bolt, washers etc., including testing and taking out old U/s NRV complete all as specified and directed.
