Provn of chemical earthing with copper earth plate electrode of size 900 x 600 x 5 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 4 mtr below normal ground level connected to copper strip of size 32x 6mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts and washers made out of copper or tinned brass and protection GI pipe of 40 mm dia all as specified and testing complete including earthwork, PCC chamber, RCC chamber cover with handle GI watering pipe 20mm dia, GI funnel with wire mesh, magnesium sulphate, salt, charcoal, lugs etc and method of earthing shall be as per plate No 3 of SSR Part-I. Note : The chemical and quantity used should be (i) Charcoal – 200Kg (ii) Salt – 250 Kg (iii) Magnesium sulphate crystal – 75 kg (iv) The copper plate and copper strip should be connected using nut, bolts as well as brazed (v) The earth pit should be min 4 Ft width.

S & lay copper strip of size 30 x 3 mm fixed to wall all as specified as directed.

Provn of test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorous bronze size 75x75x25mm, drilled and screwed incl 3 Nos, 8mm dia 25mm long head hexagonal head screws.
