If refusal encounter continues on the next location, it shall be carried out upto total 04 Nos of bores to eliminate the probability of local refusal due to boulders/pebbles without any extra cost to the department.

(Srl Item No. 4.00 Contd....) (B) Report shall be submitted as per sample proforma attached. (C) Testing method shall be strictly in accordance to relevant IS code : 2720. (D) In case of hilly terrain and location of site on hill slope, soil investigation agency shall look into the stability of slopes and give suitable recommendations to avoid slope failure at later stage. (E) All pages of the soil investigation report shall be serially numbered, stamped and signed by the agency carrying out the soil investigation. (F) Six copies of ink signed report duly scruitinised and vetted by IIT shall be submitted with detailed description of field investigations carried out, soil classification and general nature of soil strata, water table, interpretation of test results, grain size distribution curves, compressive index curves, site plan etc as listed in preceding paragraphs. (G) CWE and GE shall scrutinize the soil investigation report and endorse the same for correctness. GE, Engr-in-Charge and JE shall note 'N' value logg and general soil profile as noticed during Field Test. (H) Soil Investigating Agency may be required to render any clarification sought by the department on the Soil Investigation Report submitted by them at any stage till completion of the construction work.

Supply, laying, connection and testing of 150 mm bore, ductile iron pipe centrifugally cast (spun) with spigot and socket ends, class K-9 and confirming to IS 8329 - 2000 with push on rubber gasket jointing inside with cement mortar lining and outside zinc coating with finishing layer of black bitumen/blue epoxy coating duly ISI marked in any length laid in trenches,complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Earthwork shall be measured & paid separetely.
