REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF CEILLING FANS, EXHAUST FANS, GEYSERS AND CONNECTED WORKS IN CHETAK, CHAMBAL, BHIND COMPLEX, RESIDENCY AND OTHER ADJOINING AREA AT AF STATION GWALIOR

Taking down carefully condensor, down rod, canopy ,fan blade, nut, bolts and washers, rubber real, condensor cap, Exhaust fan clamp,Exhaust fan frame from existing surface for repair complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) Adequate Nos Electricians & helpers shall be present at office of AGE E/M (AF) AA Maharajpur, Engineer-ln-Charge at 9 AM every day for taking instructions regarding repair work to be carried out on the day on priority.T&P required inclusive safety equipment & transport required to carry out regular repair work in domestic area or any area of airforce station Gwalior. (b) Alternative electrician shall be deployed in place of regular electrician to attend work on sunday/holiday for attending defects / complaints, if electrician fails to report or found absent or fails to rectify the defects / complaints then recovery @ Rs. 500/- per day shall be made from contractor's any due payment (c) The repair work on any single day may be ordered by Engineer-In Charge to be carry out in number of places/building in one day i.e in one building quantity of any of BOQ items to be carried may be one or more number of BOQ items to be executed on any single day may also be one or more. (d) Contractor shall not have any claim on account of order of one or more quantity of one or more items of BOQ that to be executed in one or more building and or area in any single day & cost of labour deployed above is deemed to be included in quoted rates by the tenderer for all items of BOQ of this tender.

Disconnecting , taking down & removing carefully the existing ceiling fan, exhaust fans, wall bracket fans etc. of any description, any sweep and from any position / locations (i.e. Md Accn/ OTM Accn) for repairs / servicing / overhauling / painting / numbering etc dismantling and opening of the fans for checking serviceablity of parts, overhauling, Hanging / fixing the fans in position after repairs. Overhauling shall include necessary cleaning, oiling & greasing, removing & replacement of defective/ unserviceable parts,with new parts, reassembling the fans, making necessary adjustment , proper alignment of blades, connecting to existing electric sources and testing at site to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed. Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / nonfunctional parts shall be measured & paid for separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’/BOQ and fixing charges for new items are deemed to be included under this item. (ii) Rewindings of fan motor shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’/BOQ. (iii) The rates for above items are deemed to include for transportation of fan to and fro workshop if required and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for necessary repairs. (iv) Writing of fan No. and painting of fans shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’/BOQ.

Taking out & removing old burnt-out windings of electric fans of any description and rewinding of fan motor with appropriate size super enameled copper wire (Make : Atlas/Finolex/Devi Dayal)as approved by the Engineer-in-charge including insulating material such as illuminous paper, Letherized paper, cotton tape, glass sleeving, insulating varnish etc testing at workshop and transportation to site, connecting and testing on full load to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge for the following Fans:-

Rewinding of motor of ceiling fans 1200/1400 mm sweep.

Rewinding of motor of exhaust fans of 225/230 mm sweep.

Rewinding of motor of exhaust fans of 300/375 mm sweep.

Rewinding of motor of exhaust fans of 450 mm sweep.

Supply only the following new parts suitable for the ceiling/ exhaust fans, wall bracket fans & pedestal fans, air circulating fans etc. of any description, any sweep:-

Disconnecting & removing unserviceable capacitor from existing ceiling fan, exhaust fans, wall bracket fans & pedestal fans, air circulating fans etc. of any description, any sweep fixed in position at any locations (i.e. Md Accn/ OTM Accn / hangers) for replacement with new capacitor of following capacity complete all as specified and directed.:-

Taking down existing worn out louvers of any description , in any position and supplying & fixing new louvers made out of MS sheet 22 gauge thick suitable for exhaust fan of 230/300mm sweep all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The louvers shall be of shape, size and pattern as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge duly painted with two of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer

All as per item No.7.00 as here-in-before but suitable for exhaust fan of 450 mm sweep

Disconnecting & taking out old existing unserviceable fan regulator of any description & in any position / location complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing of fan regulator (Electronic step type) all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supplying and fixing fan hook made of of flat iron of suitable size and length, fixed with and including nut, bolts of suitable size including drilling holes for grouting nut, bolt etc complete all as specified & directed.

S&F MS clamps for fixing of fan hook as per sample made out of 5 mm thick MS flat including necessary cutting, drilling, welding and provision of necessary nut and bolts etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair to ceiling fan/ exhaust fan /wall mounted fan shaft by means of remetalling, grinding & polishing to make with the original size and shape and suitable for fixing of bearing of bush and repairing of bearing housing as required complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for painting of existing fans of any description (ceiling fan/exhaust fan/Air circulators/Wall mounted fans/Pedestal fan) with applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (White) by spray machine including preparation of existing decorated surfaces of fans including engraving MES No. of fan in capital letters of height not less than 20 mm on fan body all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of Armature with shaft for ceiling fas 1200/1400 mm sweep as per sample complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of top & bottom cover of armature suitable for ceiling fas 1200/1400 mm sweep as per sample complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing exhaust fan, steel body, AC, single phase 230 V of size 230mm sweep with blade, frame and louvers including dismantling and taking down existing unserviceable fan complete all as specifed and directed.

S&F in exhaust fan made of sturdy engineering plastic complete with louvers shutter, 230V, 50Hz, 1200 RPM copper winding of sweep 300mm including dismantling and taking out existing exhaust fan complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting & taking down the existing geyser of any description and any capacity (25/35/50 Ltrs) any make and in any position from the existing location for necessary repairs & maintenance/replacement/painting etc complete all as specified and directed

Dismantling, opening of the geyser of 25 ltrs capacity and of any description, material and labour for cleaning and de-scaling the inner tank and other parts/accessories including inlet, outlet, overflow, geyser element, thermostat, U assembly etc. with brush & cleaning rods and using and circulating concentrated de-scaling solution (ORISCALE BLASTER) mixed with water in suitable proportion till the complete deposits/scale is removed upto the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge, brazing for stopping the leakage of copper inner tank/ gas welding for stopping the leakage of inner steel tanks , fixing the serviceable parts in position, replacing the unserviceable parts, setting insulation properly as required, reassembling the geyser after cleaning, repairing and painting. Re-fixing & installation of the geyser in existing position and its testing to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) Quoted rate of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The new parts shall be measured and paid under respective item of BOQ as supply only. (ii) Painting of Geysers shall be on requirement basis and shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A'/BOQ. (iii) Old disturbed insulation shall be made good by the contractor with using old retrieved glass wool. Additional quantity of glass wool for insulation, if any required, other than the quantity of glass wool retrieved from dismantling of geyser shall be measured and paid for separately as supply only.

All as per item No 24.00 here-in-before but for Geysers of 50 Ltrs capacity

Supply only the following new parts suitable for Geysers of capacity under BOQ item No 24.00 & 25.00 here-in-before:- Note:-(i) The new parts should be compatible with the existing geysers (ii) Fixing element of these items is deemed to be included under the rates quoted by the contractor for respective BOQ item No 24.00 & 25.00 here-in-before.

(a) Inner steel tank for 25 Ltrs capacity having wall thickness not less than 1mm

(b) Inner steel tank for 50 Ltrs capacity having wall thickness not less than 1mm

(c) MS outer cover of any size and shape, for geyser of cap 25 Ltr not less than 1 mm thick all as specified

(d) MS outer cover of any size and shape, for geyser of cap 50 Ltr not less than 1 mm thick all as specified

(e) `U’ assembly for 25/50 Ltrs capacity geyser with rubber gasket

(f) Geyser elements of 1500 watts, 230 volts capacity

(g) Geyser elements of 2000 watts,230 volts capacity

(h) Thermostat with setting range 30º C to 80 ºC suitable for 230 volts AC electric supply

Disconnecting & taking up or down existing unserviceable PVC connections of any description from geysers installed at site and supplying and fixing new PVC connections with nylon braided, 15 mm bore 450 mm long having brass nuts and washers on both ends suitable for hot / cold water complete all as specified & directed.

Disconnecting & taking up or down existing unserviceable PVC connections of any description from geysers installed at site and supplying and fixing new HD PVC connections, 15 mm bore 450 mm long high pressure nylone braided having brass nuts and washers on both ends suitable for hot / cold water complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for painting of existing Geysers of any description and in any position 25/50 ltrs capacity, with applying one coat of Ducco paint (White) by spray machine including preparation of existing decorated surfaces of geysers including writing MES No. of geysers in capital letters of height not less than 20 mm on geysers body in the pattern and style all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair MS bottom cover of any size and shape, for geyser of cap 25/ 50 Ltr made out of MS sheet not less than 1 mm thick and as per existing size and shape complete all as specified.

Disconnecting, dismantling & taking up or down existing unserviceable `U’ assembly of any description and in any position from geyser of 25 Ltrs /50 Ltrs capacity installed at site and supply and fixing new `U’ assembly to match with the existing system complete all as specified & directed.

Disconnecting, dismantling & taking up or down existing unserviceable geyser element of any description and in any position from geyser of 25 Ltrs /50 Ltrs capacity installed at site and supply and fixing new geyser element of 1500 Watt, 230 volts to match with the existing system complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Description all as per item No 32.00 here-in-before but geyser element of 2000 watt.

Disconnecting, dismantling & taking up or down existing unserviceable geyser thermostat of any description and in any position from geyser of 25 Ltrs/50 Ltrs capacity installed at site and supply and fixing new thermostat with setting range 30º C to 80 ºC suitable for 230 volts AC electric supply complete all as specified & directed.

Disconnecting, dismantling & taking up or down existing unserviceable geyser indication lamp of any description and in any position from geyser of 25 Ltrs/50 Ltrs capacity installed at site and supply and fixing new indication lamp complete all as specified & directed.

Disconnecting & taking up or down existing unserviceable fusible plug/safety valve of any description from geysers installed at site and supplying and fixing new fusible plug / safety valve of shape and size to match with the existing system all as specified & directed.

Disconnecting & taking up or down existing unserviceable copper conductor flexible cable of any size & any description and supplying, fixing, connecting & testing new 3 core copper conductor flexible cable of 50/.025 mm size, PVC insulated and PVC sheathed suitable for 1100 volts grade complete all as specified & directed.

Disconnecting and taking out existing defective/ unserviceable complete industrial type socket with top in sheet metal box, of any description & in any position and Supplying and fixing new industrial type socket, 2 pole + earth 20 Amps, with and including plug top and MCB, 20 Amps, ‘C’ series, single pole in sheet metal enclosure all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting out holes in existing cement concrete / brick walls built in cement mortar and removing unserviceable/loose/ broken geyser’s mounting bolts including supplying, fixing & grouting new mild steel bolts with end screwed 8 mm dia & 100 mm long along with one washers and one hexagonal nut at screwed end for mounting the geyser on wall using cement mortar 1:3 and making good the disturbed surfaces to match with the existing surface & finishes complete all as directed.

Disconnecting & taking up or down existing unserviceable submain wiring of any description, any size from existing conduit complete all as directed. NOTE:- Two run of single core PVC cable with one run of earth conductor shall be measured as one unit.

M & L for sub main wiring using two single core PVC insulated, unsheathed stranded copper conductor cable FR of size 4 Sqmm of voltage rating upto and including 1100 Volts drawn in existing conduit with & including one run of PVC (green colour) insulated , unsheathed, stranded copper conductor cable FR of size 4 Sqmm as earth continuity conductor all as specified and directed. NOTE:- Two run of single core PVC cable with one run of earth conductor shall be measured as one unit.

Disconnecting & taking up or down existing unserviceable submain wiring of any description, any size from concealed conduit includig taking out existing conduit complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- Two run of single core PVC cable with one run of earth conductor and conduit shall be measured as one unit.

M&L for sub main wiring using two single core PVC insulated, unsheathed stranded copper conductor cable FR of size 4 Sqmm of voltage rating upto and including 1100 Volts in and including PVC rigid concealed conduit of dia not less than 20mm with and including one run of PVC (green colour) insulated, unsheathed, stranded copper conductor cable FR of size 4 Sqmm as earth continuity conductor all as specified and directed. NOTE:(i) Two run of single core PVC cable with one run of earth conductor and conduit shall be measured as one unit. (ii) The quoted rates shall be deemed to be inclusive for cutting chases in wall/pillars/columns etc. of any description for concealing the conduits to required depth & making good the disturbed surface in cement mortar 1:4 including finishing the surface to match with the existing colour of surface.

Disconnecting & taking up or down existing unserviceable submain wiring of any description, any size from PVC conduit includig taking out existing conduit complete all as directed. NOTE: Two run of single core PVC cable with one run of earth conductor and conduit shall be measured as one unit.

M&L for sub main wiring in surface conduit using two single core PVC insulated, unsheathed stranded copper conductor cable FR of size 4 Sqmm of voltage rating upto and including 1100 Volts in and including PVC rigid conduit of dia not less than 20mm with and including one run of PVC (green colour) insulated, unsheathed, stranded copper conductor FR of size 4 Sqmm as earth continuity conductor all as specified and directed. NOTE: (i) Two run of single core PVC cable with one run of earth conductor and conduit shall be measured as one unit.

Disconnecting, dismantling & taking up or down existing unserviceable geyser element of any description and in any position from 50 Ltrs capacity geyser installed at site and supply and fixing new geyser element of 2000 Watt square flanged type, 230 volts to match with the existing system complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting, dismantling & taking up or down existing unserviceable geyser thermostat of any description and in any position from 50 Ltrs capacity geyser installed at site and supply and fixing new thermostat two in one with cut off facilities and 11” long in size, 230 volts to match with the existing system.. Complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair switch socket combination multi purpose, 5 Pin 6/16 amps, flush type With Indicator complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Plug Top 16 Amps, 240 Volts three pin complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting old unserviceable GI Pipe of any description and supply and fixing/laying pipe GI medium grade 15mm bore including fittings fix on wall or laid under floor complete with all accessories ISI Marked complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking up or down existing unserviceable MCB of any description and in any position complete all as directed.

Dismantling, Disconnecting & taking up or down unserviceable geyser capacity 25 Ltrs of any Make of any description and in any position, taking out old unserviceable MS inner tank and supply and fixing new MS Inner tank having thickness not less than 1mm thick capacity 25 Ltrs of any make complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 52.00 here-in-before but Inner tank capacity 50 Ltrs -

Dismantling, disconnecting & taking up or down unserviceable geyser capacity 25 Ltrs of any Make fixed in any position, taking out old u/s plastic front cover CVRER-25 (V) and supply and fixing new plastic front cover CVRER-25 (V) capacity 25 Ltrs having thickness not less than 1mm thick of any make complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 54.00 here-in-before but Plastic front cover CVR-50 capacity 50 Ltrs complete all as directed.

Dismantling, disconnecting & taking up or down unserviceable geyser capacity 25 Ltrs of any Make fixed in any position, taking out old u/s plastic outer AL2 WH-25 (V) and supply and fixing new plastic front CVRER-25 (V) capacity 25 Ltrs of any make complete all as specified and directed.
