Testing of 11KV breaker through Power Grid Corporation of India , through PSEB Protection team are as under:- (NME MAP Ph II) (a)Tests to be carried out on each breaker ( Nos of Breaker - One in NME Ph II) The following tests are carried out Srl No 1 to 5 (i) IR Value for open (ii) Tripping and closing time in M/S. (iii) Operation - both manual and through motor. (iv) Functioning of indicators.(v) Continuity.(vi) CT ration through primary injection.(vii) Polarity test. (viii) Testing of all the protection relay - i.e. o/c, earth fault, instantaneous, trip suspension, auxiliary relay etc.(ix) Operation /working of charging motor and limit switch.(x) Calibration of all relay, male, female contracts of VCB. Note : (i) Any part/spare found defective during testing shall be repaired/ replaced for which payment shall be made separately against respective items here in after except for minor parts such as packing, nuts bolts, cotton waste etc for which cost shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item. (ii) Test sheet shall be prepared and produced to Engr-In-Charge. (iii) T&P/Power back up/DC Supply required for testing shall be provided by the contractor.

(iv) Bty bank - 01 Set

(v) Bty charging panel - 01 Set

(vi) Gen Set 100 KVA with AMF panel -01 Nos

(vii) Capacitor bank 01Nos

(viii)Outdoor feeder pillar - 8 Nos.

B Operating staff to be deployed :-

(i) Electrician HS/Sub Station Attendant - One persons per shift in 3 shifts having ITI in electrical engineering or any retired Sub Stn Attendant of any state electricity department conversant with such job .

(a) Period of one shift - 8 Hours.

(b) No of shifts to be deployed per day - 03.

(b) No of shifts to be deployed per day - 03.

A' 11 KV Assests and connected accessories :-

(i) 11KV, Indoor VCB Panel- 05 Nos

(ii) ACB Panel- 01 Nos

(iii) Transformer 11 KV/0.433 KVA 315 KVA – 01 No. and 400 KVA-01

(iv) Bty bank - 01 Set

B Operating staff to be deployed :-

(i) Electrician HS/Sub Station Attendant - One persons per shift in 2 shifts having ITI in electrical engineering any retired Sub Stn Attendant of any state electricity department conversant with such job and educated qualification not less than ITI from the recognised institutes.

(a) Period of one shift - 8 Hours.

(b) No of shifts to be deployed per day - 03.

(C ) Nature of Duties of operation staff

(i) Sub Station attendant / Electrician have to operate and maintain all the assets listed under item No. 6.01 A,7.01A & 8.01A here in before.

(ii) Maintaning and recording of the records of all the Instruments all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and register/log sheet will be provided by contractors.

(iii) Monitoring of periodical functioning of the instruments listed in Sub Station standing order/particular splecifications as per laid down periodically.

(iv)Recording daily break down /shut down in the log sheet other than reading such as trip record, breakdown its duration, preparing permit slip etc.

(v) Carrying out necessary periodical test of earthing of complete Grid quarterly and recording it on test sheet.

(vi)Testing of DC batteries healthiness, checking of gravity of batteries, functioning of battery bank replacement of worn-out fuses, weekly and making the test/record sheet.

(vii) Testing, cleaning, checking of bty terminal, Ammeter, voltmeter periodically and maintain log book for running of Gen Set of capacity100 KVA.

The sub station attendant / electrician for taking out trolleys of switch gears etc, recording the reading of instruments, watch and ward for complete assets installed with in the premises of the installation and daily cleaning of the installed machinery of installation and complete area of Sub Station.

The contractor will ensure that the area within the boundary wall /fencing of the sub stn remains foliage free/grass free.

Existing foliage / grass will be uprooted by machinery / maually as per the requirement and safety of cables.

whereas fencing / boundary wall does not exist, surrounding area 10m on all sides from sub station wall will be cleaned/mainted as mentioned in sub clause 8.25

(D) PROTECTIVE CLOTHING/UNIFORM/TOOLS :- The duty SBA/Electrician shall wear uniform as approved by the GE/ Engineer-in-Charge. The tools kit consisting of Insulating plier, screw drivers, DE Spanner set shall always be in possission of the duty SBA. The uniform and tool kit shall be arranged by the contractor. SBA /Elect will not be attand to enter the sub stn without protective clothings.

(E) Duty Roster. Necessary duty roster shall be prepared by the contractor every months and approved by JE&Engineer-in-Charge monthly.

(F) One mobile set to be provided at 11 KV Sub Stn permanently for communication by contractor without extra cost.

(G) Payment of wages : The Garrison Engineer is the principal employer as such payment to contractor staff deployed shall be made not less than minimun wages as per govt policy. Payment to staff deployed to made through e-payment i.e. aadhar linked bank account & evidence to be produced as directed.

(H) The necessary Furnitures like table Chair and other writing materials (incl log book) will be provided by the contractor by him self without any extra charges all the rates are incl in the quoted rate only.

(J) Penal Charges. The fwg panel charges are charged as under:-

(i) Absent of duty attandent. Recovery @ Rs. 1000/- per day per shift for Electrician.

(iii)Not carring out the periodical test as per periodicity, recovery @ Rs. 5000/- Per month lump sum.

(iv) Non cleaning of the area recovery @ Rs. 5000/-per month

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate with electrode 60mmx60cmx6 mm thick buried directly in ground.(earth pit of size not less than 2.25 mtr. Deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr. Below normal ground level, connecting to the galvanized iron strip earth lead 32x6mm size, by means of bolt,nuts,checknuts and washers of galvanised iron and 32x6mm earth lead protected by provision of GI light grade pipe 40mm bore including provision of concreate pit in PCC(1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates with 40mm thick cover of RCC(1:2:4) reinforced with XPM(weight not less than 4kg/Sqm) with 6mm dia Ms bar handle made to shape.Complete all to as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Sch 2009 (Part-I) connected main switch board all as specified and testing on completion.

(a) Earth electrode as mentioned above

(b) Main earthing lead of 32X6 mm GI strip from earth electrode to test point up to 7.5 mtrs.

(c) Connecting earthing lead and electrode all as specified and testing complete.

(d) Adequate quantity of charcoal and salt .

(e) GI protection pipe of 40 mm dia light grade of length not more than 5.00 mtrs.

(f) PCC pit all as per SSR with RCC cover.

Material and labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded broken stone aggregate as in mass concrete in foundation of poles complete all as soecified.

Material & labour for cleaning away all grass vegetation, scapling shrubs bushes under grouth roots and trees not exceding 30 cm grith and removing rubbish upto distance of 50 mtr out the periphery of area under cleaness, existing foliage / grass will be uprooted by machinery / maually as per the requirement and safety of cables complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for cleaning of Power House surrounding (Loc NME & NOC MAP Ph II)11 months within the boundary wall /fencing of the sub stn remains foliage free/grass free. Existing foliage / grass will be uprooted by machinery / maually as per the requirement and safety of cables.whereas fencing / boundary wall does not exist, surrounding area 10m on all sides from sub station wall will be cleaned/mainted as mentioned as above.Removing rubbish upto distance of 50 mtr out the periphery of area under cleaness including internal cleaning complete all as specified and directed. Penal Charges:- Non cleaning of the area recovery @ Rs. 2000/-per month. Note :- Cleaning of each power house ie NME or NOC as pr this item will be treated as one Job.

Supply and fixing in replacment danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet , virtreous enameld white, with letters , figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps , bolt and nuts of approved size for LT 20 X 15 CM size complete all as specified and directed.

Ditto all as per items No 14 but for HT of size 25 x 20CM

M & L in replacement of out door type aluminuam bus bar chamber feeder box of cap 300 Amp , 3 phase, 4 wire, 415 Volts with porcelain insulator of size 90 x 60 x 45 cm made out of 3.15 mm CRCA Sheet duly painted with two coats of synthetic enameld paint over a red oxide primer and fixed and supported with anlge iron grouted in PCC 1:2:4 upto 0.30 mtr high from ground level all as directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Material and labour for sand cushioning with a layer of fine sand 8 cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm after laying the cable in trenches to cover under ground cable complete all as specified and directed. Note :-Punned down thickness of sand shall be considered for measurement)
