Supply installation commissioning & testing of Diesel Engine Generating sets 415 volts 300 KVA or nearest higher rating 3 -phase 0.8 power factor 50 Hz, 1500 RPM self exicited self regulated brushless AC generator installed including accoustic enclosure suitable for ambient condition at Ranchi and confirming to condition under IS 10002,ISO-3046,BS-5514 with following: (i) The capacity of Generator set shall be net after all due derating factors as per relevant ISI design. (ii) Rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of cable and terminations from Generator panel to change over switch including making necessary holes to wall and making good to disturbed surfaces of match to original specification and connection up all as directed. (iii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first fill of oil and final successful acceptance test. (iv) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of 12 hours test run at site including of one hour on 10% overhead in presence of representative detailed by accepting Officer, all arrangements shall be made by the contractor for tests at his own cost.

(A). Alternator :- Standard design alternator rated at 300 KVA or higher rating net output at site after considering derating as per site conditions at 0.8 (lag) power factor AC, 3 - phase 4 - wire 415 volts 50 Hz, 1500 RPM, self exicited self regulated screen protected drip proof IP 23 enclosure brushless design with winding in pole faces, insulating class 'H' and voltage regulation of ± 1% at rated voltage from no load to full load. The alternator shall be confirming to BSEN 60034-1 &IS- 4722 and shall be inposition to generate supply with frequecy regulation with in ± 1% tolerace. The alternator will be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally confirm to BS - 2613/5000/ IS - 4722. (i) Insualation class - 'H' (ii) Temparature rise Class - 'H' (iii) Excitation : Self Excited (iv) Regulation performance: The voltage is kept constant with ± 1%, manual voltage adjustment within ± 5% . (v) Frequency regulation ±1%

(B) Diesel Engine: - Adequate capacity of Diesel engine not less than 400 BHP (Minimum) based on manufacturers technical details water cooled to drive independently the alternator and after considering derating as per site conditons after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories directly coupled through flexiable coupling multi cylinder multi stroke direct injection, cold starting 1500 RPM, as per relevant IS/BS - 5514 with an overload capacity of 10% for half an hour in 12 hours continuous running complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation salient features of accessories shall be as under:- (i) Fly wheel with housing (ii) Cooling system :- Mounted radiator with fan & belts. (iii) Cooling Water pump : - Centrifugal type belt driven. (iv) Exhaust System :- Exhaust System complete with exhaust piping of suitable dia as per manufacturer recommendation & outside and 1 meter away from the enclosure, covered with asbestos rope and aluminium foil of 28 SWG complete with in the enclosure for safe exhaust without transforming vibration to the wall of the enclousre. (v)Exhaust gas turbo charger type (vi)Exhaust manifold Silecer : Residual type Bellows (vii) . Anti vibration foundation rubber pads for DG sets as recommended by the manufacturer.

(c) Fule System :- (i)Fuel injection system with fuel injectors, fuel injection solenoid switch/ nozzles/ governer electronic type capable for ±1% speed /frequecy regulation. Fuel fileters Fuel hoses (ii) Lub oil System incorporated with :- a. Lubricating oil filter b. Lubricating oil pump (iii) Air Intake System incorporated with :- a. Air intake Manifold b. Air cleanler dry type iv) Starting System :- Electric Self starter with maintenace free battary including battary charging alternator as recomended by manufacturer. (v) Batteries :- Batteries of maintenece free of capacity as recommended by the manufacturer complete with copper conductor multistranded leads of suitable length from self starter to the battary terminals complete with initial charge and initial fill of electrolite all as specified and Starter gear ring (vi)Start and stop push button-Ignition key / Switch/Emergency stop (vii)Salient features of accessories shall be as under: (a)Radiator with blower fan (b)Corrosion inhibitor coolant (c) Paper element filters for fuel, lub oil and by pass. (d)Eelctronic governer controlled direct fuel injection system (e)Fly wheel housing and fly wheel.

(D) Generator Monitoring Panel : -(i) Comprising of all standard items as mentioned under this schedule or as per standard practice iginiton key switch and start / stop arrangement, indications for Engine parameter & hour run meter, RPM meter, Engine oil pressure indicator, water/coolent temparature indicator, Battery volt display. ii) Safety Controls : - Engine low lube oil pressure high water temparature and over speeding of engine. iii) Coupling arrngement : - Flexiable coupling/ fly wheel to suit flexiable coupling fly wheel housing. iv) Base Frame : - Made out of ISMC suitable size recomended by manufacturer

F) Annunciation with indication lamps for : (i) Low lub oil pressure. (ii) High Water Temparature. (iii) Engine over speed. (iv) Battery low voltage. Controls :- (a) Load on Indication (b) Load off indication (c) Engine start push button (d) Engine stop push button (e) Fault accept / reset push button (v)Battery Charger incorporated with : (a) Transformer (b) Rectifier (c) Restance (d) DC Volt meter (e) DC Ammeter (vi)Protection :- (a) Over current relay - 01 No

(G) Approved as per CPCB- II (i) It Should be as per latest rules and regulations of Ministry of Environment and Forest and Pollution control board. (ii) The generating set batteries and fuel tank should be housed inside the acoustic enclosure. (iiii) Fuel tank should be located inside the acoustic (iv) Construction Details/specification are as follows : - a) Outer body :- CRCA Sheet of 3.15mm thick. b) Doors :- CRCA sheet of 3.15 mm thick c) Sound Insulation :- 100 mm thick rock wool (64kg/Cum) v) The accoustic should be composite in construction and fully assembled integral unit. vi) The batteries should be placed inside the enclosure beside the DG Set on a suitable inlsulated plat form. vii) The DG Set should be provided with external Emergency stop push button. viii) The enclosure should be provided with bulk head light fitting for inside illumination (ix) The noise level should be 75 db at 1m under free field conditions. x) The accoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treat ment process. The powder coating shade and base frame as per manufacturer recommendation

The following itmes are deemed to be included in the rate quoted for all DG sets:- (A)Civil Works :-All civil works including PCC platform and related works to foundations for panel and equipments including making good the existing structrure as distrubed during installtion and commissioning of Genset. The depth of the foundation shall be minimum 600X600X70CM with antivibration pads or as recommended by the manufacturer (B)Accoustic Enclosure:- Manufactured by OEM suitable for 300 KVA or higher rating DG Set (C)Testing-(i) first fill of oil and final successful acceptance test. (ii) 12 hours test run at site including of one hour on 10% overload in presence of representative detailed by accepting Officer, all arrangements are to be made by the contractor for tests.

Note: Rate of DG set deemed to be included servicing cost, engine oil, air filter,diesel filter and any damaged spare parts cost of DG set upto 2 years from date of completion.

Earthing complete including taking down of old one with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 60cms x 60cms x 6.0 mm thick as per IS 3043 of 1987 buried directly in to the ground ( earthpit not less than 2.25 m deep below the ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level, connected to the galvanised earth lead by means of bolts , nuts check nuts and washers of galnanised iron or steel using GI strip 32 x 6 mm as earthing lead as shown in electric plate No-3 of SSR- Part-1 connected to earth strip all as specifed or indicated including testing on completion and necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, returning filling, disposal of surplus soil, earth pit in PCC 1 :3:6 type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, pit, funnel, 20 mm diia meduim grade watering pipe, 40 mm dia GI light grade earth lead protection pipe, CI frame and cover , wire copper lugs etc mesh, charcoal and common salt in alternate layer complete all as d directed .

Supply , installation ,commisioning and testing of LT MCCB Panel Board of suitable size cubical weather, dust and vermin proof powder coated fabricated out from CRCA sheet steel 2mm thicness , MCCB panel board should be manufactured and supplied by ISO 9001 certified OEM . The Busbar system shall be duly type tested at NABL lab for short time with stand current of 1 Sec. it shall be suitable for wall or floor mounting with Double door option, Panel board enclouser shall be robust contruction and corrosion resistance powder coated with seven tank process with locking arrangement fixed on suitable size foundation 60 Cm above the GL by providing angle iron of size 50 x 50 x 6 mm welded on all the four corners embedded in PCC 1: 2: 4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate 30 Cm thickness including electrical connection with lugs & glands complete all as d directed comprising the the following:- :

Note: (i) All Internal connection of MCCB from Bus Bar made By using aluminium busbar of rated Capacity (ii) Any other items which are not mentioned above but are essential for smooth functioning of panel shall also deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (iii) Pannel will be accepted after approval of drawing by Garrison Engineer.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floors and paving exc 15cm thick (below or above ground level) complete all as directed .

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 ,type D2(using 40mm graded stone aggregate ) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as directed .

M&L for 100mm thick PCC 1:2:4 ,type B-2(using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in floor making with spike rolling to surface or making impressions of expended metal, whilst the concrete is green finished fair and even without extra cement surface complete.

M&L for forming 12mm thick expansion joints filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound Grade 'A' for 100mm thick concrete slab complete all as directed ..
