Pipeline Leakage Rectification work at UWSS Bhadra Under Sub Div. Bhadra

Repairing of leakage in existing Distribution/Rising Main/Transmission Main AC/PVC/HDPE pipe line up to 1.5 mtr depth of sizes as given below by digging out suitable size of pit at site of work including taking out the burst pipe from trench, dewatering and providing adequate safety arrangement at site. This will also include cutting of pipe ends, fixing of pipe piece with jointing material, tightening of CID Joints to make repair leak proof and then refilling of excavated tench / pit / road shall be done properly i.e after a layer of 20 cm with proper watering and ramming in layers. for entire job contractor will use his own T&P & labour and will arrange transportation of material required from Jen store. (Required material such as pipe piece, CID Joints shall be provided by Department free of cost) In all type Soil AC/PVC/HDPE pipe 50/63/75mm

Minor repair of leakages such as lead caulking, plugging, clamping and ring fixing in existing Distribution/Rising Main/Transmission Main AC/PVC/HDPE/CI/MS/DI pipe line up to 1.5 mtr depth of sizes as given below by digging out suitable size of pit at site of work including dewatering and providing adequate safety arrangement at site to make repair leak proof and then refilling of excavated tench / pit / road shall be done properly i.e after a layer of 20 cm with proper watering and ramming in layers for entire job contractor will use his own T&P & labour and will arrange transportation of required material from store. (Required material such as lead wool, white hump, plugs, clamps etc. shall be provided by Department free of cost) In all type Soil 50/63/75mm

Replacement of CI/ DI Double flange sluice valves,non return valves,butter fly valves etc. in existing Distribution/Rising Main/Transmission Main pipe line up to 1.5 mtr depth of sizes as given below by digging out suitable size of pit at site of work including providing and fixing MS Nut and Bolt and rubber gasket, dewatering and providing adequate safety arrangement at site and then refilling of excavated tench / pit / road shall be done properly i.e after a layer of 20 cm with proper watering and ramming in layers for entire job contractor will use his own T&P & labour and will arrange transportation of required material from store. (Required material such as Valve, Tail piece, CID Joints etc. shall be provided by Department free of cost)In all type Soil 80 mm

Removal of Choking from pipe line, including tree roots, malba, sand and other by manually or other means, cleaning of line and testing in existing Distribution/Rising Main/Transmission Main AC/PVC/HDPE/uPVC pipe line up to 1.5 mtr depth of sizes as given below by digging out suitable size of pit at site of work including dewatering and providing adequate safety arrangement at site. This will also include cutting of pipe ends, fixing of pipe piece with jointing material and then refilling of excavated tench / pit / road shall be done properly i.e after a layer of 20 cm with proper watering and ramming in layers for entire job contractor will use his own T&P & labour and will arrange transportation of required material from store. (Required material such as pipe piece CID Joints shall be provided by Department free of cost)as per satisfaction of EIC. Rates for per pit.In all type Soil 50/63/75mm

Disconnection of water connection from existing pipe line in all type of soils up to 1.5 mtr depth by digging out suitable size of pit at site of work, with cutting of service line and refixing of clamp revolving it 180 degree then refilling of excavated tench / pit / road shall be done properly i.e after a layer of 20 cm with proper watering and ramming in layers for entire job contractor will use his own T&P & labour.

Labour charges for removal of complaint of polluted water supply to the consumers Survey of the locality of polluted water supply for preliminary assessment of source of pollution during supply hours

Labour charges for digging of pit of suitable size for removal of water pollution on existing distribution AC/PVC/uPVC/HDPE pipe lines up to 1.5 mtr depth including cutting of pipe and assessment of direction of flow of polluted water during non supply hours, identifying the source of pollution and repairing of fault in pipe line by fixing of pipe piece with jointing material (pipe and jointing material shall be supplied by department) to make it leak proof and then refilling of excavated tench / pit / road shall be done properly i.e after a layer of 20 cm with proper watering and ramming in layers. The rate includes all labour charges to complete the work for pipe size In all type Soil 50 to 75 mm

Restoration of bitumen road by patch work of WBM using crushed / broken aggregate as per the standard specification and consolidation with hand rammer spreading and consolidation of binding material , cleaning of surface of WBM and providing of seal & tack coat as per site condition by using ready cold mix up to the satisfaction of engineer in charge. The rate includes the making of pit in regular shape, all labour, material and T&P charge complete job.

Restoration of cement concrete road including making of pit in regular shape, ramming and consolidation of surface, laying, positioning and compacting cement concrete ( M-20 ) minimum thickness 200 mm upto the satisfaction of engineer incharge. The rate includes the making of pit in regular shape, all labour, material and T&P charge complete job.

Removing & Re-fixing of Precast concrete interlocking blocks for laying of pipe line by manual method, stacking of serviceable & non serviceable material separately, disposal of dismantled material lead up to 50 mtr. The C.C. interlocking paving blocks be laid on average 25 mm thick bed of coarse sand and the joints to be filled with fine sand. Laying procedure on compacted sub base as defined. Complete job is to be executed as per the directions of Engineer in charge. The rates to be inclusive of fixing of 70 percent reusable precast concrete interlocking block and cost of required new precast concrete interlocking block against damaged, including all lead and lift as per Technical specifications. (Interlocking block manufactured by fully computerized automatic stationery hydraulic vibro pressed machine & full computerized automatic batching plant of class A-1 as per BS:6717-2001. Tensile splitting strength and breaking load as per BS: 6717-2001 Colour: Grey cement natural colour. Variation in Dimension : Less than 1.6 mm Variation in thickness: Less than 3.2 mm) Note: If existing precast block used more than 70%, than for every 1% use above 70%, deduction of 1% in cost shall be done for every 1% use above 70%. 80 mm thick.

Removing & Re-fixing of Bricks Kharanja road by manual means for laying of pipe line, stacking of serviceable & unserviceable material separately, disposal of dismantled material lead up to 50 mtr. The Bricks interlocking be laid on average 12 mm thick bed of mud mortar and the joints to be filled with pointing in cement mortar 1:3. Laying procedure on compacted sub base as defined. Complete job is to be executed as per the direction of Engineer in charge. The rates are inclusive of fixing of 80 percent reusable Bricks and cost of required new First class FPS bricks (min. 10.5 Mpa) in place of damaged bricks, all lead and lift as per Technical Specifications and direction of Engineer in Charge. Note: If existing bricks used more than 80%, than for every 1% above 80% use,deduction of 1% in cost shall be done for every 1% use above 80 Horizontal aligned Bricks

Dismantling of cement concrete pavement for pipe line and chambers by mechanical means using pneumatic tools, cutting the peripheral edge by CC cutter, breaking to pieces not exceeding 0.02 cum in volume and stock piling at designated locations and disposal of dismantled materials up to a lead of 1000 meters. Measurement for dismantled trench to be made as per standard trench width specified in tender document and no extra payment shall be made be made for trench width more than specified, re-handling of material/earth to complete the tasks as per technical specification and scope of work.

Dismantling of flexible pavement for pipe line and chambers by mechanical means using pneumatic tools, breaking to pieces not exceeding 0.02 cum in volume and stock piling at designated locations and disposal of dismantled materials up to a lead of 1000 meters. Measurement for dismantled trench to be made as per standard trench width specified in tender document and no extra payment shall be made be made for trench width more than specified, re-handling of material/earth to complete the tasks per technical specification and scope of work.
