Road safety related corrective work at critical crash points on the road under the Public Works Department in Gautambudhnagar district

Providing & Making table top (Tropozodical Hump) with 7.00 mtr. wide flat at top and making slop in 1.70 mtr. both side the road. 10mm thick for flat portion and making slop in both side with 1.70 mtr. with Dense Graded Bitumenous Macadam and tack coat. Including 2.50mm. Thick thermoplastic paint as per technical specification. and directed by E/I. Including material, T&P, Machinery, royalty, labour cess all taxes complete. Excluding GST as per E/I.

Retro-reflectorised Traffic sign as per IRC-67-2012 Providing and fixing of retro-reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC :67-2012 made of high intensity grade sheeting type-IV vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M 15 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing. The Retro reflective sheeting shall be tested for a certificate of having the sheeting tested for coefficient of retro reflection, daytime colour and luminance, shrinkage, flexibility, liner removal, adhesion, impact resistance, specular gloss and fungus resistance, 3 years outdoor weathering and its having passed these tests shall be obtained from International/Government Laboratory/ Institute by themanufacturer of the sheeting and in case the certificate is obtained from international condition, it should also be obtained from Indian condition within 3 years of launching of product by the manufacture in abroad. Alternatively, a certificate conforming to ASTM Specification (D 4956-09) on artificial accelerated weathering requirements from a reputed laboratory in India can be accepted provisionally. In such a situation, the Employer / Client, if so desires, could seek for a performance guarantee which would be released after receipt of certificate meeting the requirement of three years outdoor weathering of the sheeting as per IRC 67:2012. Reflective Raised Pavement Markers (Cat Eye/Road Stud) Supply and fixing of raised pavement marker with Made of Plastic body of RPM/Road Stud shall be moulded from ASA(Acrylic Styrene Acrylonitrite) or HIPS(High-Imoact Polystyrene)or Acryloniitrite Butadien Styrene(ABS) or Any other suitable material approved by the Engineer. The Marker shall support a load of 13,635 kg tested in accordance with ASTMD 4280.The Reflective panels shall consist of number of lenses contatning single or dual prismatic cubes capable of providing total internal reflection of thelight entring the lens face. Lenses shall be mouled of methyl methecrylate conforming to ASTMD 788 of equivalent. The slop or retro-reflecting surface shall preferably be 35+/-5 degree to base and the area of each retro-reflecting surface shall not be less than13.00sq.cm. the marker height shall not be less than 10mm and shall not exceed 20mm & Width shall not exceed 130mm.The base of the marker shall be flat within 1.3mm all road studs shall be legibly marked with the name, trade or other means of identification of the manufacture. epoxy installations, excess adhesive around the edge of the marker, excess adhesive on the pavement and adhesive on the exposed surfaces of the markers shall be immediately removed. The contractor shall submit a two year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the reflecting panel, to the Engineer. In addition , a two year warranty for satisfactory in field performance of the finished roadmarker shall also be given by the contractor who carries out thework of fixing of reflective road markers. In case the markers are displaced, damaged, get worn out or lose their reflectivity compared to stipulated standards , the contractor would be required to replace all suchmarkers within 15 days of the intimation from the Engineer, at his own cost. The rate shall include all materials, labour,T&P, transportation, installation and incidentals all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Including material, T&P, Machinery, royalty, labour cess all taxes complete. Excluding GST as per E/I.
