WATER PROOFING OF ROOFS OF PUBLIC AND RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS AT GAIL COMPRESSOR STATION, TOWNSHIP AND RR/SV/IP STATIONS LOCATED IN THE JHABUA JURISDICTION (M.P) THROUGH NIC PORTAL

Shifting and reinstallation of the old/existing- GI/upvc water pipeline on the roof ( size-15mm to 32mm) with elbow/union etc. according to the site condition while executing the water proofing work. While shifting, if the pipe/elbow/union etc. gets damaged, same will be replaced with new one and complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in charge.

Treatment of expansion joints - (1) Cutting of grooves along the length of the expansion joint. (2) Clean the Expansion Joint gap by air blower. (3) Fix masking tape on both sides to achieve a clean appearance. (4) Repair with back up rod/equivalent including primer coat and polysulphide sealant. Mix curing agent to resin (polysulphide sealant) to achieve a homogenous and uniformed material. (5) Apply in the gaps by clean hands or by container itself. (6) Allow it to dry for at least 7 days for proper curing. It must be dry and free from dust, loose material, oil, grease or any other material, repair with back up rod/equivalent including primer coat and polysulphide sealant of waterproofing compound of Cico/Pidilite/Asian/Sika/Fosroc/BASF/Berger Home Shield/Nerolac Perma, complete in all respect and as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Demolishing, Removing and Chasing out the long distinguished cracks, Brickbat coba/PCC ( thickness - 100mm to150mm) of roof surface as per site condition by manually/ mechanical means including disposal of material out of premises or as per direction. The damaged area should be filled and repaired with non-shrinkable cement based grout GP/polymer mortar/PCC with water proofing compound of approved make (Cico/Pidilite/Asian/Sika/Fosroc/BASF/Berger Home Shield/Nerolac Perma), and firmly ensuring it adheres to the required surface level in all respect, as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Injection Grouting, with non-shrinkable Injection Grouting, with non-shrinkable waterproofing polymer cement based grout, of Cico/Pidilite/Asian/Sika/Fosroc/BASF/Berger Home Shield/Nerolac Perma, on the surface with the nozzles applied with a pressure of 5Kg/cm2 by drilling and making suitable holes as per the site requirement and as per direction of Engineer-in charge.

WP Treatment with PU-on Terrace incl. Parapet Wall (1) Surface preparation of roof and parapet wall prior to waterproofing application as per detailed technical specification/scope of work, application with only polyether based polyurethane (PU) primer waterproofing liquid membrane, in three coats consisting of a primer adhesion coat and two sealing coats. (2) Providing and applying one coat of polyether based polyurethane (PU) primer waterproofing liquid membrane, consisting of 2 components resin+ hardener mix in equal ratio 1:1, of approved make (Cico/Pidilite/Asian/Sika/Fosroc/BASF/Berger Home Shield/Nerolac Perma) as per product specification. (3) Providing and applying first coat of PU based waterproofing liquid membrane water proofing of approved make Cico/Pidilite/Asian/Sika/Fosroc/BASF/Berger Home Shield/Nerolac Perma) as per product specification.. (4) Providing and fixing of corner joint tape of approved make (Cico/Pidilite/Asian/Sika/Fosroc/BASF/Berger Home Shield/Nerolac Perma) as per product specification. (5) Providing and applying second coat of PU based waterproofing liquid membrane of approved make (Cico/Pidilite/Asian/Sika/Fosroc/BASF/Berger Home Shield/Nerolac Perma) and perpendicular( i.e. 1 Horizontal & 1 Vertical) to first coat as per product specification, Minimum elongation of 350 - 600% of cured surface, The coating shall be applied at a minimum consumption of 1.5 kg/sqm in three coats, complete in all respect and as per direction of Engineer-in charge complete in all respect including parapet wall and as per direction of Engineer-in charge Note: All the above-mentioned products must be of same make. E.g. Primer + PU based liquid membrane of Waterproofing coat must be of same brand.

WP Treatment with Acrylic on Terrace incl. Parapet Wall(1) Surface preparation of roof and parapet wall prior to waterproofing application as per detailed technical specification/ scope of work, application with acrylic based polymer cementitious compound, in three coats consisting of a primer adhesion coat and two sealing coats. (2) Providing and applying one coat of acrylic based polymer compound primer of approved make ( Cico/Pidilite/Asian/Sika/Fosroc/BASF/Berger Home Shield/Nerolac Perma) with cement in the ratio 1 (Cement) : 1 (Polymer Chemical) or as per product specification. (3) Providing and applying first coat of acrylic based polymer cementitious water proofing compound of approved make Cico/Pidilite/Asian/Sika/Fosroc/Berger Home Shield/Nerolac Perma) as per product specification.. (4) Providing and fixing of corner joint tape of approved make (Cico/Pidilite/Asian/Sika/Fosroc/BASF/Berger Home Shield/Nerolac Perma) as per product specification. (5) Providing and applying second coat of acrylic based polymer cementitious compound of approved make (Cico/Pidilite/Asian/Sika/Fosroc/BASF/Berger Home Shield/Nerolac Perma) and perpendicular (i.e. 1 Horizontal & 1 Vertical) to first coat as per product specification, Minimum elongation of 70% - 75% of cured surface, with mix ratio 2.5 : 1 (Cement : Polymer Compound), The coating shall be applied at a minimum consumption of 1.5 kg/sqm in three coats, complete in all respect and as per direction of Engineer-in charge. Note: All the above-mentioned products must be of same make. E.g. Primer+ acrylic based polymer of Waterproofing coat must be of same brand.

WP Treatment on Chajja -For Chajja - Preparing and repairing the surface and applying admixture with integral acrylic based polymer cementitious water proofing compound (thickness-25mm to 50mm) as per product specification of approved make (Cico/Pidilite/Asian/Sika/Fosroc/BASF/Berger Home Shield/Nerolac Perma) complete in all respect and as per direction of Engineer-in charge.

Screeding - 40MM CC FLOORING WITH NEAT CEMENT PUNNING AND WATERPROOFING COMPOUND. Providing and laying of Cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat cement, including cement slurry etc. complete. 40 mm thick with 20,10 mm and 6mm nominal size stone aggregate / Cement plaster skirting up to 30 cm height, with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), finished with a floating coat of neat cement. 15-18 mm thick, provide 450mmX450mm khuras at all outlets and by making chequers/grooves on roof floor of approved pattern on cement concrete floors, steps, landing, pavements with proper slope etc., complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in charge.

Providing and laying new Kabelu Mangalore tiles over the roof of similar or same shape, colour and size with existing tiles. The mortar layer shall be spread over the roof to a thickness of not less than 25 mm. The Mangalore tile shall also be soaked for two hours before laying in the roof all complete as per IS 2858-1984 and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Re-laying of all existing removed good condition kabelu Mangalore tiles. The mortar layer shall be spread over the roof to a thickness of not less than 25 mm. Demolishing Cement concrete manually/by mechanical means including disposal of material in all respect complete within 100 meters lead as per direction of Engineer-incharge.

Dismantling brickwork manually/by mechanical means including disposal of material in all respect complete within 100 meters lead as per direction of Engineer-incharge.

Removing kabelu tiles from the roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material in all respect complete within 100 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in charge.

Plastering - Providing & Laying plaster of 12 mm thickness only at required locations with water proofing compound & cement mortar of mix 1 : 4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing Gola/Angle Fillet at all corners 75x75 mm in cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 C : 2 coarse sand : 4 stone aggregate 10-6 mm and down gauge), including finishing with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) with integral water proofing compound as per IS 2645 along with parapet wall, complete as per requirement in all respect and as per direction of Engineer-in charge.

Providing & Laying a 45 GSM Fibreglass Mesh as a reinforcing material at all corner joints along the roof and parapet wall and all required roof terrace , as per direction of Engineer-in charge.
