Amount

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m depth and not exceeding 1.5m width and getting out in hard/dense soil for laying of pipe lines complete all as specified as directed.

Returning, filling in excavated soil, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in hard / dense soil etc complete as specified as directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point all as specified as directed.

Taking up CI/DI water mains of 100 mm bore including all fittings with spigot and socket ends , lead joints / titan joints complete as specified as directed.

Laying only CI pipe line 100 mm bore with spigot and socket, in any length laid in trenches complete as specified as directed. NOTE :- (i) CI pipe 100mm bore will be issued under schedule 'B' free for fixing only. (ii) Cost of CI specials shall be measured and paid separetely. (iii) Cost of transportation of CI pipe from E/M store to site is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Cutting the existing CI/DI pipe in position for insertion of CI/DI specials such as new Tees, branches etc of size 150 mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantaling the sluice valves of size 200mm dia bore in various locations and reconditioning the sluice valve by replacing SS spindle, spindle nuts with brass ring, gland nuts, gland packing etc., and refixing after carrying out repairs complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling old valve chamber complete with deteriorated MS cover and construction of brick massonry valve pit chamber of inner dimensions 1000 x 1000 x 1000 mm suitable for sluice valves upto 100mm size, with PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 for foundation, brick work in CM(1:6), 15mm thick rendering in CM (1:4) on internal and external surfaces, coping in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1, including necessary earth work, MS sheet cover of thickness 3.15mm made out of angle iron frames 50x50x6 mm as in double door type with hinges and locking arrangement with 4 leavers Godrej lock,75mm size duly painted with two coats of black bituminious paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Sluice valve 150mm dia both side flanged and ISI marked (IS-780) of sluice valve cast iron body with brass spindle and brass fly nuts, class PN-1.6 and cast iron hand wheel and joining with nut, bolt, washers and rubber insertion packing 6mm thick etc including taking down the existing complete as specified and as directed.
