Modification of existing Runway Threshold and END lighting system at LGBI Airport, Guwahati

Supply of C.I. Isolating Transformer housing box, water tight round type, metal container of outside dia 330 mm & 450 mm height made of 10 mm thick cast iron moulding all round, except the top surface, which is 15 mm thick, cast iron moulding suitable to receive a light fitting base plate on the top and underground housing associated with Isolation transformer, power cable and having 2 nos. clear hole centre (each 180 degree apart) at 225 mm above bottom surface suitable to receive 50 mm dia HDPE/GI pipe as required. The box should have two SS earth bolt of M 10 x 40 tapped inside near the holes (4" away from the hole centre) and having a drain hole at the bottom suitably tapped to receive 15 mm dia, 'B' class GI pipe and having clear opening of 220 mm dia at the top surface and 6 Nos. M 10 tapped hole at the hole centre 260 mm to receive fitting base plate and bolts as required as per the drawing & specifications.

Supply of 200 W, 20A/6.6A, 5 KV grade 50Hz series type Isolating Transformer, encapsulated in polyester resin finally moulded in neoprene type rubber with primary & secondary leads connections and ready to install confirming to technical specification etc. complete as required.

Supply of Elevated type unidirectional High-Intensity Threshold light fittings suitable for use with halogen type lamp, complete with lens support mechanism, lens clamping mechanism, prefocus lamp holder, central column assembly, breakable coupling, gaskets, two pin secondary leads, base plate with 06 nos. M-10 stainless steel bolts, spring and plain washers and other accessories with 200/150W, 6.6A halogen type lamp, Green spreader lens etc.and conforming to ICAO requirements complete as required.

Supply of Elevated type unidirectional High-Intensity End light fittings suitable for use with halogen type lamp, complete with lens support mechanism, lens clamping mechanism, prefocus lamp holder, central column assembly, breakable coupling, gaskets, two pin secondary leads, base plate with 06 nos. M-10 stainless steel bolts, spring and plain washers and other accessories with 200/150W, 6.6A halogen type lamp, Red spreader lens etc.and conforming to ICAO requirements complete as required.

Supply of 16 Sq.mm., 5 KV grade Essna connector (plug and receptacle connector) of type I class "B" connector suitable for field attachment with 5 KV grade of PVC insulated PVC sheathed single core copper conductor Airfield Lighting cable complete as required.

Supply of 50 mm. dia.(O.D.) HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) duct of grade PE80, PN6 ISI marked along with all accessories like socket, bend, couplers etc. conforming to IS 4984:1995 with latest amendments complete as required.

Supply of 16 sq.mm., 5 KV grade PVC insulated & PVC sheathed, antitermite & anti-rodent, multi-stranded copper conductor single core Airfield lighting cable confirming to IS 1554 (Part-II) with up to date amendments and confirming to technical specifications, terms & conditions etc. as specified in tender document complete as required.

Cutting the concrete/bitumenious surface by core cutting machine/breakers upto a depth of 200 mm and 100 mm width on Taxiway/runway shoulders between the transformer housing boxes for laying of 50 mm dia cable crossing pipe (HDPE/GI) etc. complete as required.

Laying of 50mm. dia.(O.D.) HDPE(High Density Polyethylene) pipe along with all accessories like socket, bend, couplers etc. complete with fitting and cutting, jointing etc. on existing trench between the transformer housing boxes complete as per site requirements etc. complete as required.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4(1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 10 mm nominal size) on existing grooves on taxi/runway shoulders and finishing the top surcace matching to existing surfaces etc. complete as required.

Laying of one number PVC insulated & PVC sheathed stranded copper conductor two core/ single core airfield lighting cable of 6 sq.mm./ 16 sq.mm size 5kV grade in the existing RCC/ HUME/ METAL/ HDPE pipe as required.

Installation of transformer housing boxes with a base concrete of 1:3:6 of size 630 x 630 x 100 mm thick, all round concrete of 1:2:4, 50 mm thick the top sloped with 1:2:4 cement including cutting and excavation of concrete/ bituminous surface/ hard/ soft soil (size 630mm x 630mm x 500mm depth) etc. complete as required.

Installation of ELEVATED type Bi-directional/ unidirectional THRESHOLD/ END light fittings over the existing transformer housing box, installation of isolating transformer, interconnection, testing, commissioning and numbering the fitting by good quality painted letters complete as required.

Making field connections by crimping 16 Sq.mm Essna connector (plug and receptacle) with the existing 16 sq.mm single core PVC insulated copper conductor airfield lighting cable and applying approved quality HT and LT taps for arresting the water entry complete as per site requirements.

Providing and fixing 6 SWG dia G.I. wire on surface or in recess for loop earthing as required.

S/L of Earth connection from earth electrode with 6 SWG GI wire in 15 mm dia G.I pipe (Class-B ) etc. as required.

Dismantling of existing Threshold/End light fitting & isolating transformers from its existing location and handing over the same to AAI Store i/c Fixing of Dummy plates on the existing CI housing boxes.
