Note :- These items are to be executed in galleries of jetty (Restricted Work Environment arise during High tide ). The Rate quoted shall be accordingly considered for deemed to be include scaffolding , mobilization equipment and other safety equipment as work will be carried out in sea area along the Jetty. Nothing will be paid extra on account of Working in difficult area.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Framed work such as grills, gratings, etc, with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and fencing angle similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix MS plate Fe 410-W (Gde E-250 quality A) (Plane/Chequered) 5 mm and over as open drain covers with 02 Nos of 150mm handle in each plate etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix Rolled section Fe 410-W (Gde E-250 quality A) as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters; purlins, vertical post, plates, pipes where connected to common rafter and running rails and fixing with angle cleats or other connecting plates also fixing wind tie bars etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix MS Flat iron wind ties and stays for gutter including securing with bolts and all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc conforming to Fe 410 or Fe 310, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for providing and fixing stainless steel (Grade 304) railing made of hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (where ever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, including fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners, stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for welding grinding, buffing, and polshing of existing stainless steel railing with approved chemical for buffing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix in repair 0.5 mm thick pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheeting of any colour having tensile strength of 550 MPa as in roof covering/cladding to wall fixed with self tapping screws, including dismentling of old sheet complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Work shall be carried out on roof at 20 meter height. Unit rate shall also include the same as quoted by the contractor (non accessible roof/ wall cladding).

Supply and Fix pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating Gl based Plain steel sheet 0.5mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 MPa as in roof covering / cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws, including dismentling of old sheet complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Material and Labour for 18 to 20 mm thick granite (of any type) work (rough surface) in steps, jambs, pillars, window- cills, cooking platforms and like in 20 mm thick cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite in any position etc including dismantling of old Stone slab/tiles complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for 18 to 20 mm thick granite (of any type) work (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, pillars, window- cills, cooking platforms and like in 20 mm thick cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite in any position etc including dismantling of old Stone slab/tiles all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Chipping , removing carefully concrete work by low impact hammer, breaker without damaging the structure and cleaning and disposal of debris outside the premises etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Hard concrete should not be removed by force.

Material and Labour for Clean existing reinforcement with wire/ rotary wire brush, making the surfaces free from loose material dirt etc. complete and applying two coats of alkaline rust converting primer on the rebars, including cleaning the reinforcement, wire brushing to remove loose rust spalls, wash the rebars with clean water within 3 minutes and wipe it dry, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Material and Labour for applying two coats of Epoxy based Zinc primer in a span of four hours over the treated rebars and allow to dry for six hours, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. The application shall be by brush.

Material and Labour for cleaning all loose laitance on the concrete substrate and applying one coat of epoxy bonding agent on exposed concrete surface to ensure bond between old concrete and new concrete by brush application on railing / drain, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for ready to mix polymer cement plaster with high quality polymer additives (Polymer plaster) with 4 MPa compressive strength of required thickness over the entire cleaned surfaces including all tools and tackles, etc in damaged areas in 40 to 50 mm thickness including levelling profiling etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for applying concrete protection coating on finished structural members exposed to atmosphere, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Drilling and fixing Rohibb Teflon nozzles in RCC members, including drilling holes of 12mm dia, 50 to 100mm deep holes, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Works shall be carried out as under :- (i) Cleaning of holes. Clean the holes by air blower prior to fixing nozzles. (ii) Fixing of nozzles. Insert 12mm dia Rohibb Teflon nozzles in cleaned holes. External end of nozzles to be machine to receive outlet of grouting gun. Fix it inside the holes by applying thixotropic epoxy putty to ensure complete sealing. Cure the system for minimum 12 hours. (iii) Cutting of nozzles. Cut the nozzles by chiesel after completion of grouting without damaging structural elements. (iv) In case crack upto 2 mm wide, fix the injection nozzles directly over the cracks, at intervals of 6 to 9 inches, using a drilling machine. Fix PVC/MS nozzles in these holes with fast-setting epoxy putty and let it dry for 2 to 3 days. Also, seal the crack between the ports with epoxy putty. (v) In case where the crack is wider than 2 mm upto 4 to 5 mm, drill holes at the sides of the crack in a staggered fashion, at intervals of 6 inches and affix them with epoxy putty as mentioned above. (vi) Also, seal the face of the crack with a liberal application of the epoxy putty.

Material and Labour for Injecting of site mixed cement slurry grout, mixed in specified proportion containing cement, sand water with addition of plasticizers (approved make) & migratory corrosion inhibitors, water cement ratio shall be varied between 0.5 to 1.0 for each hole, shrinkage compensating cement slurry mixed to a lump free fresh creamy consistency, Mixing shall be done by mechanical mixer continuously stirring mechanically to keep cement particles in suspension. Injection of approved/specified grout by means of pump at a pressure of 3-5 Kg/sqcm etc complete till the grout mix flows out from the nozzle indicating complete filling of grout in the holes drilled, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Injecting low viscosity (3-5 cps) high molecular weight monomer by pressure and using mechanized injector gun with accessories till nozzles refuses to accept the grout, including Mixing of materials : Mixing of material components (part a&b) in the required quantities as per manufacturer's instruction by weigh batching. Grouting : Fill the grouting gun with concrete penetrating corrosion inhibitor. Maintain desired pressure in the gun by air compressor; maintain the pressure at exit (2 to 3kg/sqcm) by monitoring pressure gauge at exit. Grout the material through prefixed nozzles in the structural elements @ 100ml per nozzle. Repeat the process for all the nozzles, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Providing and applying jacketing around columns with Micro concrete (Molith-MC) M40 including all lifts, shuttering, drilling holes and fixing shear anchor as per specification, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Reinforcement and Formwork shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item. (Rates are including jacketing and micro concrete)

Material and Labour for Providing reinforced cement concrete type B-1, 1:1:2 (12.5 mm graded aggregate) in railing/parapet /Drain wall /Concrete anchor for mooring system and other similar items for any size at any height including demolition complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Pre-Cast Factory made RCC 1:1.5:3 (20mm Graded crushed stone aggregate) as in cover slab of manholes, septic tanks, drainage, flooring, bedded, and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and pointed in cement mortar 1:3 with edges of slab covered with MS angle sections or similar articles with plain faces and set in Cement Mortar 1:4, including formwork & reinforced with 8mm dia TMT steel 100mm c/c both way, size and shape and pattern as approved by Engr-in-Charge/Garrison Engineer including demolition of existing, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Mild steel bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Replacement of steel reinforcement with TMT bars of appropriate size where 30% of cross section is reduced including dismantling of rusted steel complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and fixing additional main steel bars or stirrups of 5 mm dia and over and including 10 mm dia in various structural elements like column, beams and foundations including drilling, bending, welding and fixing the bars with epoxy putty etc (Steel provided on the basis of 1% of volume of concrete), complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, columns, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter with rough finished surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Formwork to sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions square or rectangular in plan to provide rough finished surface to concrete complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for formwork to edges of rough finished surfaces of concrete flats, treads, breaks in floors, window cills, concerte railings, opening in concrete walls, floors and roof not exc 20 cm wide and side of RCC /PCC bands in walls, horizontal or sloping and similar work exc 10 cm but not exc 20 cm wide, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing of unserviceable fender, and connected assessories from jetty as per site condition, complete all and directed by the Engr-in- Charge.

Supply and fixing SQUARE D FENDER of 400mm x 400mm and inner " D" 200 mm x 200 mm and upto length 8000mm long (as per drawing), the fender is to be homogeneous black colour and as per site requirement and with all properties as per relevant IS code IS-13848 -1993 and fixed in front of Concrete surface on the sea face of jetty wall with 3 numbers M30 SS 316 bolts per meter of length 300 mm. The fender shall be fixed with a MS galvanized flat Iron of size 100mm x 12mm covering the full length both side of fender complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. The property of rubber shall be as follows :- Deflection - 50%, Reaction force - 34.8 Ton/Meter, Energy absorption - 3 ton-M per meter with a tolerance of -+10%. Before ageing : Tensile strength shall not be less than 17 MPa, Elongation shall not be less than 360% as per ASTM D412, Hardness Max 70° + 5 degree, shore 'A' as per ASTM D2240. After ageing at 96 hours at 70 (degree) : The tensile strength shall not be less than 80%, Elongation shall not be less than 80% as per ASTM D573 HARDNESS + 8 degree shore A as per ASTM D573, Tear strength shall not be less than 70KN/M, Compression set at 70° C for 24 hours 25% maximum - as per ASTM D395, Abrasion Resistance Maximum 1.5CC as per IS3400 PART III and Ozone resistance - No cracks as per ASTM D 1171. Complete test reports shall be submitted to the accepting officer through GE for approvals. Necessary factory inspection from a rep of accepting officer shall be carried out during manufacturing process, shall be arranged by the contractor . Cost for testing and factory inspection arrangements shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor and complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Make :- IRM offshore and Marine Engineers Pvt Ltd / Lion Rubber Industries Pvt Ltd / High Tech Elastomers Ltd / Brahans Polymer Pvt Ltd. Note :- (i) The item rate shall also include the cost of SS M30 SS 316 bolt, Nuts and chemical for fixing the bolt as recommended and supplied by the manufacturer of rubber fender. Necessary arrangement of scaffolding, grouting of bolts as required and applicable is deemed to be included in item however necessary bolts, plate, chain, flat bar, shackle except Hilti epoxy resin etc will be paid separately. Any other left over details shall be as per manufacturer's instructions. (ii) D- fender shall be as per typical drg attached.

Taking down cement plaster on brick / concrete surface built in cement mortar including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water including taking down of old steel wire fabric etc, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for taking down defective street light/flood light fittings of any size/type/capacity from any height of LT pole/wall/high mast of any location exceeding 7.0 metre height for repair work and refixing in same position after repair work including checking, inspecting, testing and commissioning complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) Electronic driver, surge protection device etc shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of BoQ. Supply and erection of steel tubular swaged pole 410 SP 22, 8.5 metre long ,complete with cast iron base plate, finial Taper plug, bolts, nuts, and screws as specified type conforming to IS 2713 complete including 2 coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer on external exposed surfaces and 2 coats of black bituminous paint on portion embedded in concrete in internal surfaces of pole including taking out old pole, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for in replacement of floor mounted manual revolving LED search light of capacity 400 watt, 220V, AC complete with all accessories prewired, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for taking street light terminal connector block for repair/replacement housed inside junction box/octagonal pole and replace with new as per existing including nuts, bolts etc, making cable connection fresh and replacement of aluminium cable lugs and providing screw to pole cover opening and replace the cover plate where required or directed cut to match with the shape and size as per existing and fixing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition and dismantling existing damaged/cracked PCC foundation of street light poles and including taking down and dismantling of pole and set a side for carrying out necessary repair work on damaged/cracked portion if required or complete where directed including removing loose foundation bolts if any and refixing in same position complete and erecting the pole in the same position with all necessary connections etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
