De-silting of Lagoon from Abdul Kalam Nagar road pipe culvert to Uppalam Cross road pipe culvert in Puducherry Port area on Deposit work basis by PWD, Puducherry.

Desilting the drainage course by removing silt, slush and debries from the bed of the same and including all types removing the grass, bushes etc., complete in unhygienic and foul condition by mechanical and manual means including conveying the silt, slush and debries by manual /mechanical means from the bed of drain to nearest stacking point and then disposal of the same with in an average lead of 3 Km including within the open space of Uppalam new port campus without polluting the environment as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The desilting work shall be done to the required depth by engaging machineries such as Excavator, loader, floater and any other special type of machineries required for carrying desilting and disposal etc., complete. The disposed materials shall be levelled, neatly dressed to a height of not more than 50cm. The cost shall include the cost of all machineries, tools and plants, labours, working under unhygienic and foul condition and also providing safety gears viz hand gloves, gumboot, face mask etc., complete. (The payment shall be made on level basis which shall be taken before and after desilting. .The cost of levelling and other survey works shall be arranged by the contractor).
