REPAIR/MAINT/ REPLACEMENT OF HT ELECTRIC OVER HEAD

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth; for laying cables/pipes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth in any type of soil and getting out soil, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning filling in (soil) including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removal of excavated material (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dry coarse sand as cushioning to under ground cable provided with layer of 8 cms deep before laying the cable and 15 cms deep after laying and stretching the cable, punned to 18 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE Only punned thickness shall be measured for payment purpose.

Precast unreinforced concrete cable cover class HV, TYPE B-1, flat, size 300mmx180mmx40mm conforming to IS-5820 (1970), for protection of HT under ground cable, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling existing ACSR conductor of any size/type from PCC/Steel poles including taking down MS works such as cross arms, clamps, hooks, stay etc from overhead line complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down/ removing existing PCC/ Steel poles from site, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Damaged poles shall be removed from site as per directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down existing unserviceable HT cable, complete for replacement all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling cross-arms of M.S. channel or angle sections etc. complete and setting aside for re-use with in 50m, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down carefully old unserviceable insulator (any type/size) from poles including for removal, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling air break gang operated switches vertical/horizontal mounted including insulators and operating mechanism for repair/ replacement of broken/worn out components and insulators etc. or carrying to MES store (spare/components for replacement to be provided free by department), complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foudation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1(using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) for coping of poles complete including necessary form work, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply , laying and testing and commissiong of HT Cable XLPE insulated , screened, PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable ( heavy duty) with aluminium conductor , 11000 volts earthed grade cross sectional area 95 Sqmm 3 core, laid in trenches, through pipe in road crossing, ducts, fixed along poles, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply , laying and testing and commissiong of HT Cable XLPE insulated , screened, PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable ( heavy duty) with aluminium conductor , 11000 volts earthed grade cross sectional area 120 Sqmm 3 core, laid in trenches, through pipe in road crossing, ducts, fixed along poles, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 to 120 sqmm, including taking the old unserviceable joint kit, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 sqmm to120 sqmm, including taking the old unserviceable joint kit, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for heat shrinkable straight through joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 to 95 sqmm including taking the old unserviceable joint kit, complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for MS work cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections ( flat, angle, channel) including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one coat of red oxide primer, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement, testing and commissioning HT gang operated air break switch 11 KV, 3 pole vertically mounted type, mechanically operated, mounted on insulators and steel frame with operating mechanism, worked from ground level for current rating 400 Amps with drop out fuse elements of required capacity, GOD/switch having 100 MVA rating at 11 KV and 12 insulators suitable for 11 KV, 50 C/s including mounting on HT poles and necessary electrical connections and including Gl pipe handle, clamps bolls, nuts, jumper wire connecting with stranded conductors with locking arrangement, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and ererction in vertical position Steel tublar swaged poles erected truly vertical or planted as strut complete with 6 mm thick mild steel base plate (300mmx300mm), welded to pole, B-118 finial taper cap,bolts,nuts & screws, poles made out of ERW MS tubing conforming to IS 2713 Part-II. Type 410-SP-55 (11 m long) including drilling of holes of required size for fixing of cross arms, painting the exposed surfacs of pole with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of two coats of zinc chrome primer and two coats of black bitumenous paint internally & portion embedded in concrete, making five black & white bands at lower portion of pole each 300 mm wide alternatley, and marking pole No. with black paint at suitable height including dismantling of existing pole & making good complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation and earth work, PCC in foundation shall be measured and paid for separetely.

Lightning arresters (Explusion type) suitable for 11 KV grade out door Non-linear resist type line discharge class-2 nominal discharge current 65 KA and high current with stand 100 KA assembly suitable for 11 KV including clamps nuts and bolts,washers and connection to earth with 4 mm dia GI earth wire including taking down old unsv lightning arrester complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing cable route indicator for HT cable of 11000 Volts bolted with 40x6mm flat iron member of height 0.60m and 80mm dia CI plate, embeded in PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 of size 20cmx20cmx30cm block, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material & labour danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet vitres enameled , white with letter ( in Bengali, English & Hindi ) Figured & conversional “Skull & Bone” in signal red colour & fixed with MS clamps bolt & nuts of approved size 25 X 20 cm for 11000 Volts, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

100mm bore galvanised steel water tubing light grade (ISI Marked) with and including all fittings and fixed complete to walls and or laid under floors etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply, stringing and fixing ACSR conductor of any type/ size on existing poles including fixing to insulators with binding wire or aluminium taps, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Disc type insulator porcelain vitreous white brown or green as per IS 731-1963 of size 145 mm high and 255mm dia ball & socketed type single disc with tension clamp for working pressure 11000 volts complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Pin Type, Porcelain vitreous, White, brown insulator of size 150 mm height, 150 mm dia for 11000 volts grade including one galvanised mild steel spindle , two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut in replacement, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Relaying Old servicable HT Cable XLPE insulated , screened, PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable ( heavy duty) with aluminium conductor , 11000 volts earthed grade cross sectional area 95/120 Sqmm 3 core complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Disconnecting the bindings of loose overhead conductor of HT lines from insulators and restringing the same for proper sag and rebinding with new aluminium binding wires at insulators, making all jumpers and inter connections of conductors at cut points as well as turnings using PG clamps of suitable size as per size of conductor for any type of conductor including restringing of continuous GI earth wire complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Trimming of tree branches upto 3 m all around the conductors is deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (ii) Three ACSR conductors and two GI earth wire will be measured as one unit length for payment. (iii) Cost of PG clamps, aluminium winding wire and eye hook for GI earth wire are included in the rates coated for restringing.

M&L for painting to steel tubular swaged pole of Overhead lines (11 Mtr long) complete with and including comprising the following works :- (a) Scraping out wornout old paint and making the surface smooth. (b) Painting the pole and all MS work mounted on pole with two coats of synthetic enameled paint (Aluminium shade) as directed by Engr-in-charge. (c ) Forming five nos coloured bands at lower portion of pole each 300 mm wide alternatively with white and black colour (or any colour as approved by Engr-in-charge) synthetic enameled paint and marking pole no. with black and white paint complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing PG Clamp die cast aluminium of suitable size of over head line of ACSR conductor connections for PTs CTs isolators connections etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6.0mm thick buried directly in ground, (Earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 32×6mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised standard iron or steel all as specified or indicated in electrical plate no 3 of MES Part-I, including testing on completion including the material and labour of the following :- (a) Excavation and earth work for drilling hole for electrode in any type of soil. (b) PCC pit in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1. (c) Precast RCC cover with suitable handle 40 mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric weighing not less than 1.87 Kg/Sqm. (d) Funnel with watering pipe of GI 20 mm nominal bore medium grade and copper lugs etc all as specified. (e) 15 mm nominal bore light grade GI protection pipe 5 mtr long for protection of earthing lead from mechanical injury or tempering. (f) Requisite quantity of common salt and charcoal. (g) Testing of earthing. Note : (a) On testing after completion of earthing, if the desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk and cost to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for replacement of earthing with Copper earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 3.14 mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 M deep below ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 M below ground level connected to Copper strip 20 x 3mm thick for earthing lead fixed by means of nuts,bolt,washers etc connected to earth test point complete all as specified in electrical plate No 3 of SSR-2009 part 1, including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, comman salt, charcoal dust, 40 mm dia light grade GI pipe for protection to earth lead, GI water pipe 20mm dia with funnel &wire mesh, PCC pit with CI cover and frame etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: - (i) All the joints shall be made with welding to get proper conductivity. (ii) On testing after completion of earthing, if desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk & cost to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. (iii) Copper Strip 32mmx6mm upto 7.5 mtrs with 40 mm protection pipe shall be included in quoted rates.

Copper strip 32 x 6mm buried in ground alongwith saddle and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specifed and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Disconnecting, opening of VCB of any description and of rating 11KV 1250 Amps capacity for servicing / overhauling, taking out and removing unserviceable / defective parts including cleaning & servicing, greasing, oiling of the parts etc and replacement of unserviceable parts with new one, reassembling the VCB after overhauling/ servicing and its testing complete all as specifed and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: (i) Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch 'A' as supply only but fixing charges of the parts replaced /repaired is deemed to be included in these item. (ii) Servicing shall be got carried out by the authorised rep of the VCB manufacturer and the service engineer will submit a service report for each VCB. (iii) Any item not included in CA and required for successful operation of the panel will be provided by the contractor & same shall deemed to be included rate quoted.

Supply only Vacuum Interrupter type suitable for 11 KV VCB Panel, 1250 Amps complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only Isolating contact assembly 12500 Amps suitable for 11 KV VCB Panel, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only Tripping Coil assembly 30 Volts DC suitable for 11 KV VCB Panel , complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only Closed Coil Coil assembly 30 Volts DC suitable for 11 KV VCB Panel, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only Motor & Gear assembly 110V AC and 220 AC for 11 KV VCB Panel , complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only TNC switch for 11 KV VCB Panel , complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only Indication lamp LED type suitable for 230 Volts AC 50Hz and 110/30 Volts DC supply, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for testing and calibration of 11KV VCBs indoor type alongwith control panel and control wiring, protection system and relays system (relay to tripping coil auxiliary switch male and female housing cut cuts etc) , checking of quality of vacuum interrupter, insulation resistances, static contact resistance, Testing ( IR value, Ratio test, Polarity test) and connection verification of 11 KV Current transformer( Set of three) by PRIMARY INJECTION KIT and Testing and calibration of relay( set of two Over current and one earth fault) by SECONDARY INJECTION KIT including all other functional tests of the VCB, C&R panel and CTs, PTs. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply install ,testing and commissioning non directional shunt trip (IDMT) relay with two poles arrangement for over current protection with setting 50% to 200% and one pole for earth fault protection with setting 20% to 80% and under voltage protection. Relay should be microprocessor based numerical type, SCADA compatible. The relay shall be complete with a wide range of standardcommunication protocols (Modbus , DNP 3.0, IEC 60870-5-103 etc. ) Relay shall be provide simple and powerfull operation interface. The LEDs and LCD display on the front panel shall be fully programmable to requirements including necessarywiring . The relay should be capable for minimum control following functions complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge:- i. Phase over current protection ii. Instantaneous short circuit protection iii. earth fault over current protection iv. output relay latching Make : Cat Part No P3U30 of schneider or equivalent in Siemens, ABB.

Disconnecting and taking down unserviceable current transformer of any description and in any position and supply, installation, commisioning and testing of cast resin type 11KV current transformer having ratio 100+50/5+5A as per IS: 2705 having protection core class 5P10, burden of 15VA and metering core class CL1.0 and burden of 15VA, breaking capacity of 13.1 KV for 1.0 second complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for filling crushed/broken aggregate of gauge exc 40 mm and not exc 80 mm in layer thickness 150 mm laid in sub station yard, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for stay assembly for steel tubular poles comprising of 7/10 SWG galvanized MS stranded stay wire of required length, minimum tensile strength 70 Kg/mm (grade-2 quality) fixed to pole with and including FI clamps bolts, nuts, washers, galvanized steel stay rod 20 mm dia 180 cm long bow 400x14mm nuts/bolts, washers all galvanized and two nos thimble, loop insulator of size 90x140mm vitreous, clearance dia of hole 16mm, stayplate of size 230x230x6mm including necessary excavation and earth work PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate in foundation and disposal of surplus spoil, upto 50 M all as specified and shown in plate No 1 of MES SSR Pt -I, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Comprehensive maintenance and replacing complete control wiring of HT VCB panel with single core FRLS PVC insulated, unsheathed, Multi stranded copper conductor of suitable size but not less than 2.5 sqmm, including all necessaryaddition and alteration in panel, thimble, mounting bracket, and coding for indication of cable complete all as specified an directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for comprehensive maintenance & servicing of four pole structure complete including replacement of unserviceable jumper, sleeve, connector GI Clamps 'T' connector run, connector run through replacing all clamps, bolts nuts washer connecting lugs/thimbles, applying petroleum jelly to the moving as well fixed contacts, tightening all the connection for its smooth functioning and preparing old painted surface of the structure such as poles, cross arms, bracing and supports clamps back plate complete painting of one coats of anti corrosive aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed. Marking the pole No/feeder name with black colour synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed. Note: No Extra payment will be made for the spares required to keep the four pole structure in satisfactory functioning state throughout contract period other then given in schedule complete all as specified an directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per Item No 53 here in before but for the 2 pole structure complete all as specified an directed by Engr-in-Charge.
