SPECIAL REPAIR TO EXISTING WATER PIPE LINE INFRASTRUCTURE AT DIFFERENT PLACES AT AF STN SRINAGAR

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for laying CI/DI/GI pipes etc, n. exc 10sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil including trimming sides and forming bottom surfaces to required level, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Since there is other water pipe line and cables are running at site and there is no clear space available for excalation as such excavation with JCB & the like machine shall not be permitted and all excavation works shall be caried out manually. Rates quoted by the contractor shall deem to the consider the same and quote their rates accordingly and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking up or down old unserviceable GI / MS tubing of following sizes from trenches/wall including fittings etc., complete all as specified and directed. (Excavation and earthwork measured and paid separately)

Supply laying, jointing and testing mild steel galvanised water tubing, medium grade, with and including all GI fittings in trenches, complete all as specified and directed of following sizes: Note:- All fittings required for laying/fixing shall be brought by the contractor and cost of the same shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Taking up CI/DI water mains of 150 mm bore diameter (including all fittings), with Spigot and Socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item.

All as per Ser item No 6.00 here in above but of size 100 mm bore.

Supply and laying for CI pipes of 150 mm bore diameter with Spigot and Socket ends centrifugally cast, Class LA, in any length laid in trenches, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Ser item No 8.00 here in above but of size 100 mm bore.

M&L for C I bends, Tees, collar, Tail piece etc (any type & shape and angle) tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) Tee pieces single branch, 'Y' junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plugs suitable for CI pipe upto 150 mm dia, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay in trenches ductile iron pipes 150mm bore, socket and Spigot ends, of , ISI marked Centrifugally Cast (Spun) Ductile Iron Pressure pipes conforming to IS:8329/2000 classification K-7 rating, suitable for Rubber gasket Joint spigot and socketed, outside zinc coating with Bituminous finish coat as per IS:8329 / 2000, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay in trenches ductile iron pipes 100mm bore, socket and Spigot ends, of , ISI marked Centrifugally Cast (Spun) Ductile Iron Pressure pipes conforming to IS:8329/2000 classification K-7 rating, suitable for Rubber gasket Joint spigot and socketed, outside zinc coating with Bituminous finish coat as per IS:8329 / 2000, complete all as specified and as directed.

Construction of brick masonry valve pit of size 600x600x900mm (internal dimension) with brick work in CM 1:6 including 15mm thick plastering internally in cement mortar 1:4 and pointing externally complete including MS sheet cover 3.15mm thick and MS Flat 40x4mm with handle and locking arrangement and painting with two coats of synthetic enameled paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces including earth work, excavation, disposal of surplus spoil not exceeding 50m, complete all as specified and as directed.
