REPLACEMENT/ MAINTENANCE WORKS TO LT STEEL TUBULAR POLES, FEEDER PILLAR BOXES, POLE/ PANEL FOUNDATION, POLE/ PANEL COPING AND CONNECTED ITEMS AT INS RAJALI ARAKKONAM

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m in depth for taking out cables /pipes /poles /stay /route indicators etc., and getting out in soft /loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5m wide and exc beyond 1.5m not exc 3m in depth for taking out poles/ stay etc., but not exc 3m in hard soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cms complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Relaying of reusable bricks as obtained from item No.01 here-in-before complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Spreading riddled earth as obtained from item No. 01 here-in-before in cable trenches complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: If required Qty not obtained from item No. 01 the contractor should make brought up pit in the location not exceeding 50m distance to avail required qty and the cost for necessary earth work is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Disconnecting existing cable connections from pole street light box, taking up existing UG cable from earth, taking down existing street light box, taking down existing pole street light bracket along with street light fitting of any type as per site and set a side carefully complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Excavation work shall be measured and paid separately.

Demolition and dismantling of damaged concrete of any description from existing poles etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking up old steel poles of any size from existing positions complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Demolition of concrete and excavation work measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for replacement steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws as specified type 410 SP - 31, 9m long including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide and re-fixing accessories as obtained against item No. 07 here-in-before on new poles as per site requirement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Material and labour for PCC for coping round/ cylindrical type for existing poles whereever necessary, new poles 1:3:6 type C-1 (Using 20mm graded stone aggregate) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for replacement street light fitting GI light grade bracket swan neck type of dia 80mm collar cap adjustable with nuts and bolts fixed on new pole alongwith 50mm GI pipe of length upto 1m welded to 80mm fixed on pole as per site requirement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Quoted rate is deemed to be included for refixing of old street light fitting along with new bracket on pole.

Supply, fixing and testing powder coated outdoor street light control box of size not less than 300x200x80mm CRCA 3mm thick IP 55 fabricated by CPRI certified panel manufacturer's in and including suitable terminal TPN 10 KA SMC connector (Make - Electro Fibres / Powermat / Ramanuj for 3 phase cable line IN and OUT), MCB 6 SP Amps - 02 Nos, canopy weather proof, hinged door with two hinges, pad side locking system - 02 Nos (top and bottom), for fixing on PCC / steel poles in and including MS clamps - 02 Nos of suitable shape of size 40x5mm with zinc coated nuts, bolts and washers as per site requirement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: (i) Drawing shall be approved from dept by the contractor before placing a order to CPRI certified panel manufacturers. (ii) The cost deemed to be included in the quoted rate for reconnecting old existing cables to boxes carefully using a suitable glands and also taking up loop from the under ground and making good in all respect whereever required as per site requirement.

Supply, draw /connect, testing weather proof PVC insulated multi stranded copper conductor 2.5 sqmm round, three core 1100 volts grade complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and erect channels, cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates for replacement fabricated from steel section including nuts, bolts and washers inclusive of one coat primer and two coats of painting complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Checking, cleaning and servicing of following rating /capacity of MCCBs, contacts and busbars connections with CRC spray, checking the bus bar connections /power cable from main bus bar to HRC fuses, MCCB and out going cable coonections of MCCB, tightening of power cables/ bus bar/ outgoing cables in and including replacement of copper/ aluminium lugs as per site requirements, cleaning the carbon, checking the gasket, reconditioning of door lock as per site requirements complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply, fabricate, install and testing outdoor type LT bus bar chamber box of size 600x500x400mm from CPRI certified panel manufacturers with powder coated made out of 3mm CRCA sheet steel front and rear opening, locking facility with pad locks - 02 Nos and four side slanting cannopy on roof top and mild steel angle base frame of 50x50x6mm in and including TPN aluminium bus bar of 400Amps capacity for looping and branch connection the bus bar chamber placed on insulators with suitable neoprene rubber gasket to make it completely dust and vermin proof complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: The quoted rate to be included for incoming and outgoing UG cables gland, aluminium lugs for connections along with necessary excavation, removal of soil, returning, PCC foundation, Brick staging, plastering and whitewash all sides.

Material and labour for tubes light grade galvanised for following sizes with all fittings and fixed to wall/ pole / under road / culvert / drain or laid in trenches complete including taking out the corroded pipe from the existing positions complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for painting to existing LT street light tubular poles of following sizes including bracket of street light bracket and other accessories as per site requitrement after preparing/ scraping the metal surface with emery sheet in all respect for making smooth surface and painted with one coat coat of aluminium paint including writing pole No/ feeder No and supply and fix of superior quality self adhesive water proof photo reflective tape in two lines on poles as directed (tape size and tint shall be as approved by Department) as per site requirement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: The bottom of pole 1.5m height above coping shall be painted with light blue paint and aluminium paint strips alternatively at an interval of 30cm including writing the pole with white colour over black colour circle base all as per site.

Material and labour for painting to existing LT street light PCC poles of 9.0 Mtr long including bracket of street light bracket and other accessories as per site requitrement after preparing/ scraping the pole surface with emery sheet in all respect for making smooth surface and painted with one coat coat of exterior enamel paint water proof suitable for existing PCC pole surfaces including writing pole No/ feeder No on poles as per site requirement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: The bottom of pole 1.5m height above coping shall be painted with exterior enamel paint water proof light blue and aluminium paint strips alternatively at an interval of 30cm including writing the pole with exterior enamel paint water proof white colour over black colour circle base all as per site.

Material and labour for writing letters using exterior enamel paint water proof as under mentioned sizes on existing LT Indoor panels/ Outdoor feeder boxes located at various places based on present Incoming and Out going cable area connections on the ground etc., in and including cleaning and preparing surfaces in all respect as per site requirement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for taking out of existing loop cable from under ground, after rectificattion of fault /damaged cable portion and relaying the cable to same existing location with proper connections including lugs, nuts, bolts including PCC works, necessary earth works etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
