SCHEDULE 'A'

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for applying evenly a priming coat using pressure sprayer with rapid setting bitumen cationic emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS-8887/IS-217/ ASTM D 2397 at 2 Kg/10 Sqm on existing old bituminous surfaces as specified and as directed.

M&L for Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness, with 5.5% binder content using VG 30 grade bitumen by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using mechanical paver complete all as specified. Note: In the event of excess quantity of binder content is necessitated due to mix design of asphaltic concrete, the same shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost and no price adjustment shall be applicable in this regard.

M& L for Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scouring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) all as specified and as directed.

M& L for repair to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 square metre each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premix SDAC as specified for thin bituminous carpet (2 cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8 kg of binder with 0.06 cum of sand), again well rammed (including supply of premix binder and sand) depth of potholes not exceeding 30 mm all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation old painted surface of any description over 10 cm in girth or width applying of two coat of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer all as specified.

M & L for painting lines, dashes, arrows letters etc on roads, pavements and the like not exceeding 10 cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow all as specified . Note :- The line painting shall stand out boldly and solidly without showing signs of brush marks or surface underneath. If necessary, the surface shall be repainted untill the desired result is obtained.

M& L for scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area N. exc 400 sqm thickness n.exc 50mm deep and removing all as specified.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 Kg/10 Sqm on unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces using VG 30 grade bitumen as binder all as specified and as directed.

M&L for bituminous macadam with VG 30 grade paving bitumen any penetration laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs reflective road studs/cat eye (Two way) of size 100x100x25mm with shanks through polycarbonite lens shield body components light weight rivetted structure bedded on road surface using epoxy resin emulsion complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for Moorum/Red bajri, spread,rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required in berms spread thickness not exceeding 75mm thickness all as specified.
