Soil Stabilisation - Stabilizationof in - situ (existing pavement crust) or soil or otherwise sub-base course upto the required depth by cold in-situ recycling using chemical additives /otherwise :Providing pulverizing, spreading, milling and mixing of chemical additive sat the rate of minimum 750 ml/ cum require quantity as per job mix design in accordance with IRC37-2012. Cementitious additive @ rate of minimum 4% should be spread on the existing pavement using a mobile truck mounted contain erized cement /additives preader with micro process or controlled weighing and spreading system.The additive spreader shall have variable working width sufficient to cover whole pavement lane.The in-situ stabilization process shall be carried out by amobile and self propelled stabilizer /reclaimer of working width of 2.4mt and with minimum engine horse power of 440 kw with avariable working depth of minimum 50cm. The resultant stabilised mix then would be profile dto the require dgrade ,level and thickness using motorgrader and the mix would be compacted using 20 tonne pad footroller in combination with smooth whell roller to achieve desired proctor density as per IRC37-2012 and complet ein all respects and curing with water as required including all materials,labor and machinery etc. The entire In-situ process would be carried out in single pass with milling and pulverzing of damaged asphalt pavement/soil/aggregates/soil-aggregate mixture to the desired depth and with simultaneous addition ofadditives and water with machine integrated spray bars fitted on the wheeled self-propelled and vibratory pad footrollerto achieve desired proctordensity inallrespects .Necessary graded stone aggregates shall be added to achievede sired profile of the road. The minimumun confined compresssive strength(UCS) of stabilized subbase should be 4.5 to 7MP aafter 7/28days curingas per IRC37-2012. Also,durability aspects (wet-drycycles) of stabilized subbase should be satisfied as per IRC37-2012 .The gradation mixes and magterials should be as per IRC37-2012

Providing and laying a Stress Absorbing Membrane Interlayer (SAMI) / bitumen impregnated geotextile layer after cleaning the road surface, geotextile conforming to requirements of clause 703.3, laid over a tack coat with 1.05 Kilogram per Square Metre of paving grade bitumen 80-100 penetration/emulsion as per requirement and as directed by Engineer in Charge.
Stabilization of Soil or Sub-Base/Base Course or Existing Pavement Crust upto the required depth by In-Situ Stabilization method using Cement / Cementitious additives / Chemical additives / Combination: - Providing and pre-spreading of Binder (Cement / Cementitious additives / Chemical additives / combination) at rate of required quantity (% by weight) as per job mix design in accordance with IRC 37-2018 using a truck-mounted automated binder spreader with micro-processor controlled weighing and spreading system. The binder spreader shall have variable working width upto 2.4m to efficiently manage the width of the whole pavement. The in-situ stabilization process shall be carried out using a self-propelled wheeled Stabilizer / Reclaimer with a minimum working width of 2m or 2.4m and minimum engine horsepower of 305 kW having in-built automated water-spraying and depth control systems with variable working depth of up to 500 mm. The entire in-situ process shall be carried out in a single pass including pulverizing of soil/aggregates/combination or milling of existing asphalt pavement and simultaneous mixing with pre-spread binder (cement/additive) and water to the desired depth. The resultant stabilized mix shall be compacted using a vibratory padfoot compactor of 14-20 tonne weight as per design depth and then graded to the required profile, level and thickness using a motor grader. The graded surface shall be then compacted using a smooth vibratory roller to achieve the desired proctor density as per IRC 37-2018 and complete in all respects including curing with water as required including all materials, labor, machinery, etc. Necessary graded stone aggregates shall be added by pre-spreading with cement to achieve desired gradation and profile of the road. The minimum unconfined compresssive strength (UCS) of stabilized sub-base should be 4.5 / 7 MPa after 7 / 28 days curing as per IRC 37-2018 .Also, durability aspects (wet-dry cycles) of stabilized sub base should be satisfied as per IRC 37-2018 .The gradation mixes and materials should be as per IRC 37-2018.

Providing and fixing Aluminum-backed flexible prismatic (AFP) sheeting consisting Yellow colored flexible prismatic sheeting with non-metallic prismatic lens as Retroreflective elements and conforming to ASTM D 4956-09 Type VI specification for rebound able Retroreflective sheeting. This flexible prismatic sheeting shall be of 1ft width and laminated at the back with a 50 micron Aluminum (Al) foil with pressure sensitive adhesive and liner. Further, this flexible prismatic sheeting shall have screen printed arrow/slant line pattern in black color in a continuous roll format. Neither AFP sheeting nor the flexible prismatic sheeting used in it shall crack when slowly bent in 1 second time around a 1/8th inch mandrel after being conditioned for 24hrs at 0?C and tested as per section S2.2.2. of ASTM D 4956-09. The AFP sheeting, with the liner removed, shall be applied with a neoprene contact adhesive with a Polychloroprene as base, viscosity of 200-450 cps and solid content of 20-30%. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50 mm, 100 mm and 102 +/- 2 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer.The contractor shall submit a two year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the reflecting panel, to the Engineer. as directed by Engineer in Charge.
