OUTSOURCING OF SERVICES FOR MANNING AND OPERATION OF INDOOR TYPE 11 KV SUB STATION AT AMS UNDER GE(AF) HASIMARA

Outsourcing of services for daily operation of two Nos 11/0.433 KV indoor station with 750 KVA DG set at AMS Phase I round the clock at the following locations per shift per day including sunday and holidays complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge:- (a) AMS Phase I Hasimara - 03 Shifts per day (One skilled electrician for three shifts per day) (Necessary DHPP(N) and Engine oil shall be issued by the department free of cost under schedule B. Transportation of Sch 'B' materials from MES stores to work site shall be born by the contractor at any time as required without any extra cost). Note :- (i) Rate quoted against item No. 1 shall be deemed to include cost of tools and plants, grease, cleaning material cotton waste, brooms, Log Sheets, Shutdown / Breakdown register, Earthing check Register, Complaint slip, Complaint register, HT Hand Gloves etc and operator shall maintained properly as per direction of Engr-in-Charge. (ii) The operator must be highly skilled electrician and ITI holder in appropriate trade or having minimum 3 years experience and should be fully conversant with the maintenance and operation/handling of 11 KV Indoor station and switch gears. (iii) The operator has to attend the telephone and lodge complaints and maintain all the record. (iv) Continuous monitoring (recording in log sheet) of measuring instruments voltmeter/ Ampere meter, Frequency, energy, PF, battery bank etc and ensure the performance with limits as per standard norms - round the clock. (v) Daily visual check of power transformers and switch gears and grid has to be carried out by the operator and to inform the EIC/JE about any discrepancy. (vi) The operator has to carry out the weekly maintenance of battery and charger. Topping of distilled water/battery solution shall be done by the contractor without any extra cost to the Department. (vii) The contractor shall be responsible to keep the sub station and its surrounding area clean. (viii) The operator shall maintain all records in log sheet/log book of 11 KV Indoor stn including shut down/break down due to any reason from WBSEDCL or internal and any shutdown / breakdwon shall be informed immediately to the concerned Engr-in-charge. (ix) All earthing shall be tested weekly and records there of shall be maintained in a register verified by Engr-in-Charge. (x) The contractor shall maitain a cellphone(without camera and memory card) in all shifts with incoming and outgoing facilities and ensure proper functioning for the contract period. (xi) Contractor shall ensure that no worker shall work more that 48 hrs in a week and arrage the suitable reliever to each worker. (xii) Contractor shall ensure to the Accepting officer that proper record of EPF is being maintained and EPF deposited in account of all contracted labour. (xiii) Contractor shall be responsible for provinding 1st Aid medical facility to all Electrician & helper.
