SOIL INVESTIGATION AND STRUCTURAL AND ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN DRAWING PREPARATION OF PROVN OF STORE AND CERTAIN IMPROVEMENT AT OPS COMPLEX AT AF STN MOHANBARI

1.The following works are to be carried out for soil testing for " Provision of store and certain improvement at Ops complexes at AF Stn Mohanbari" (a) Boring through sand / clay/ silt strata from ground level to 7.00 mtrs (b) Carrying out standard penetration test in bore holes as IS2131 (c) Collecting of disturbed sample at every 0.5 mtr or change of strata including packing and handling all complete. (d) Collecting undistrubed soil samples at every 1.0 mtr or change of strata including packing and handling all complete as per IS2132 (e) Carrying out laboratory test for ;- (i) Grain size (ii) Liquid and plastic limit and swelling index (iii) Natural moisture content (iv) Specific gravity (v) Bilk and Dry density (vi) Shear strength parameters (vii) Chemical test for solubale chlorides and sulphate content. (viii) Consolidation test parameters. (f) The report to include clearly the following parameters :- (i) Layout out of trial pits and bore holes on propossed (ii) Recording of boring as per Appx D of IS 1892 (iii) Soil/rock properties as per detailed exploration (table 3 of IS 1892) (iv) Soil properties (v) Estimatation of sfe bearing pressure on safe capacity as per shear criteria and shall include detailed calculation of width of 1.5/2.0/2.5 m in general. the report shall include detailed calculations for SBC. In case of low bearing capacity recommendation may include bearing calculation SBC & settlement calculation for that foundation also. (vi) Recommendation of SBC and type of foundation (vii) Recommendation of pile capacity in case weaker strata in encountered (viii) Other relevent recommendation for foundation and improvment of soil if necessary (ix) Recommendation of existing soil backfill purpose.

Preparation of structural design and Architectural Drawing of "Provision of store and certain improvement at Ops complexes at AF Stn Mohanbari. Construction of Storage Accomodation :- (ATS Store -6.50x4.50, AFFF store - 6.50x4.50, ALG Cell store -6.50x4.50 mtr and over all size of Bldg - 19.50x4.50 mtr) Note :- (a) All the Architectural Drawings, Structural Design & other necessary details with Calculation folder shall be vetted by IIT/Govt Engg College in original. (b) Bidder Shall have to submit 5 copies of drawings in A3 size and and other reqd documents in A4 size as per requirment and soft copy in CD also. (c) Standard line plan of Bldg is attached as per Appx 'A' for your ready ref.
