Decarbonising of LT Panel board / Feeder pillar boxes by CTC( Carbon Tetra Chloride), removing the carbon deposited inside the panel, cleaning the panel with cotton waste, applying one coat of becktol red solution, checking the faults inside the panel board and charging the LT Panel post completion of decarbonisation complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (a) Proper shut down shall be taken prior the commencement of work . (b) Contractor shall provide 2 bottles of (250ml) - CTC . Cotton waste of not less than -1kg and Dr Bectol solution (250ml) - 1 no for performing the decarbonisation. (c) Fabrication of LT Panels for broken hinges shall be rectified. (d) LT Panel shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer. (e) Marking on LT panels shall be done as per sources of power supply (1100 volts) and outgoing area by 10cm glow sign/paint all as directions of Engr-in-Charge.

Replacement of earthing with Copper earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 M deep below ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 M below ground level connected to Copper strip 32 x 6mm thick for earthing lead fixed by means of nuts,bolt,washers etc connected to earth test point complete all as specified in electrical plate No 3 of SSR-2009 part 1, including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, common salt, charcoal dust, 40 mm dia light grade GI pipe for protection to earth lead, GI water pipe 20mm dia with funnel &wire mesh, PCC pit with CI cover and frame etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: - (a) All the joints shall be made with welding to get proper conductivity. (b) On testing after completion of earthing, if desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk & cost to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Painting to steel tubular swaged pole of Overhead lines (9 Mtr long) including MS angle,channel,clamp etc.complete with and including comprising the following works:- Note: - (a) Scraping out wornout old paint and making the surface smooth complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (b) Painting the pole and all MS work mounted on pole with two coats of synthetic enameled paint (Aluminium shade) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (c) Forming five nos coloured bands at lower portion of pole each 300 mm wide alternatively with white and black colour (or any colour as approved by Engr-in-Charge)synthetic enameled paint and marking pole no. with black and white paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Lopping / prooning of tree branches upto the extend to obtain clearance all around the LT over head lines / HT over head lines conductor upto 3 mtr from furthest conductor on pole including removing of cut branches and cleaning of site complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Note: - (a) The trees branches etc will be left as it is and will not be carried away by the contractor / DEL as the wood belongs to CEO / DEO and they will be responsible to lift the wood. (b) Prooning of all tree branches in one tree shall be measured as one Job. (c) Contractor will employ sufficient labour to complete the job with in time as directed. (d) Contractor will be responsible for any type of mis-happening / accident while prooning the trees. (e) Contractor supervisor will take proper shut down from MES installation before starting the work and clear it before resuming power supply. However full assistance will be provided by MES staff. (f) The contractor will provide proper tools and safety devices to his staff for prooning of trees.

Steel tubular swaged poles erected to truly vertical or planted as strut complete with 6 mm thick mild steel base plate, welded to Pole, B-118 finial taper cap, bolts, nuts and screws, poles made out of ERW MS tubing conforming to IS-2713 Part-II type 410-SP-31 (9m long) including drilling of holes of required size for fixing of cross arms, painting the exposed surfaces of pole with two coats of aluminum paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and with two coats of black bituminous paint on the end portion embedded in concrete, making five black and white bands at lower portion of pole above ground level/coping each 300 mm wide alternately and marking pole number with black paint at suitable height complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: - The earthwork, PCC foundation, steel clamps, MS Cross arms & bracing of angle iron etc will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of Sch ‘A’.

Dismantling re-errecting, restringing, tensioning and repair to overhead line ACSR conductor any size upto 5 conductor in one span as required on poles LT / HT including fixing insulators and jointing with ACSR conductor complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down the burnt / unserviceable lugs from the LT Panel boards , Supply and fix aluminium thimble (Lugs) in replacement suitable for Cable of size 25 Sqmm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make: Dowells
