Repairing and Rewinding of Motor pumps

Submersible Motor Pumps

1. The cost of repair of motor includes full servicing and rewinding (wherever required) as per manufacturer's specification and to the satisfaction of Engineer Incharge. It includes the replacement of bushes (oil seal bush) Nut Bolts, washers, seals cable seal cable gland ring, vent plug, water drain plug, etc. The cost of all other required parts includes in rates of rewinding except items shown separately in schedule of spares.

2. The rates for replacement of bushes include the cost of replacement of both the upper and lower bearing bushes along with their sleeves etc. under normal condition.

3. The rates for replacement of thrust bearing include the cost of all the components connected with thrust bearing.

4. Each pump and motor repairing and rewinding shall be guaranteed for 6 months as per departmental norms.

5. Old material including PVC wire shall be deposited in Divisional store.

Repairing & Rewinding of Monoblock/ Centrifugal pump set

1. The cost of repair of motor includes full servicing and rewinding (wherever required) as per manufacturer's specification and to the satisfaction of Engineer Incharge. For rewinding items the cost of copper wire shall be added separately as per actual requirement of copper wire in particular motor.

2. Each pump and motor repairing and rewinding shall be guaranteed for 6 months as per departmental norms.

3. Old material including copper wire shall be deposited in Divisional store.

PART (A): REPAIR AND REWINDING OF MONOBLOCK PUMPS

Rewinding of three phase squirrel cage induction motor of Monoblock pump sets including all necessary material and of the same characteristics as original with required size of super enameled copper wire (including cost of copper wire),'E' class insulation material and testing of motor on no load but to be guaranteed against testing on load at site, including transportation of motor pump to and from Div/AEn/JEn store complete as per direction of engineer in charge.

Preventive Mintenance

Routine maintenance of centrifugal coupled pump and motor including opening, cleaning, greasing and refitting / changing of ball bearing if required, gland refilling and replacing all rusted studs, replacing rubber bushes & coupling nut & bolts for coupling pulley, tightening all nut & bolts of foundation, baseplate, pump & motor etc. Checking & correcting alignment of pump & motor including necessary materials i.e. grease, nut & bolts, studs, washers, gland packing and rubber bushes etc. work done at site complete job
