Excavation in trenches n. exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out soft /loose soil complete all as specified and as directed for laying of under ground cable/pipe etc. complete all as specified and as directed

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil, complete, all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated material to a distance not exc 50 meter and depositing where directed at level not exc 1.5m above the starting point, complete, all as specified and directed.

Taking up cast iron water mains 150 mm bore (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead, complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Pipe lines passing under road/building in parallel (middle) or under any construction may not be taken out to avoid damages to road/building. (ii) The actual quantity will be taken in credit as taking up at site.

Supply & laying in trenches jointing and testing of centrifugally cast (spun) 150 MM bore ductile iron pipes grade K-7, conforming to IS:8329 (2000) and ISI marked in available length with inner cement lining, complete all as specified and directed. Make- Electrosteel Casting Ltd/Jindal (JSW)/Tata Notes:- (i) DI specials/fittings/necessary joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Re-layingin trenches jointing and testing of CI/DI water mains after descaling/cleaning, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Old serviceable pipe obtained from taking up shall be re-used in the work.

S&Fductile iron specials/fittings such as bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type, (straight bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) Tee pieces single branch. Y junction double branch cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collers, caps and plugs etc suitable for 80 mm bore and upto 150 mm bore, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair/replacement and testing Sluice Valve class PN1.6 suitable for 150 mm bore pipe, heavy duty flanged ends drilled, ISI marked, conforming to I S 14846, long body type, having brass steel spindle with iron head wheel at the top complete with and including nuts, bolts, washer, rubber gasket and jointing, complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and fixing of Cast Iron Air Valves with two air Outlets, 150 mm dia bore and fixing up in cast iron water supply mains, complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for mechanical joint with all fittings and jointing materials such as gasket, flower glands, nut & bolts suitable for 150 mm dia bore ductile iron water supply mains, complete all as specified & directed.

Material and labour for construction of new valve chamber of internal size 1200mmx1200mmx1200mm with one brick thick brick wall built in cement mortar 1:6, including necessary earth work in any type of soil, 100 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation/sub base concrete, 10 mm thick plaster internally and 15 mm thick externally in (upto 15 cm below NGL) in cement mortar 1:4, 4 mm thick MS cover with hinges and locking arrangement fixed to angle iron frame made out of 40x40x6 mm MS angle iron with two coat of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer on all metal work and three coats of white wash on all plastered surface of valve chamber, including demolition of old valve pip chamber complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting of road for laying of ductile iron pipe line upto 1.2 mtr depth and getting out including forming bottom surface to required level or slope & making good the road complete all as apecified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (40mm graded stone aggregate) as in repairing of road complete all as specified and as directed.
